Debbie Di's Whereabouts

12/19/2025

Joe Di suddenly stood up and asked anxiously, "Where are they?"

Although Joe Di's divine sense could traverse multiple realms, the vast universe was simply too immense. Many regions within the major domains blocked spiritual senses, and so far, he still hadn't found his sister, Debbie Di.

As for Faye Dee, whether she lived or died had little to do with Joe Di.

Seeing Joe Di's anxious expression, Emperor Xander knew he'd guessed correctly and quickly said, "Three thousand four hundred years ago, I accidentally arrived in the Light-Dark Universe... Brother Di, do you know of the Light-Dark Universe?"

Joe Di nodded. "Go on."

He hadn't visited the Light-Dark Universe before, but its master, Quinn Moten, was now practically his subordinate, following him around. Back then, Joe Di had promised to help Quinn Moten find the Flicker artifact in the Light-Dark Universe, but later, when he returned to the Vast Chaos, he rescued Quinn Moten and the Flicker artifact matter was temporarily set aside.

Currently, Quinn Moten was still cultivating in the Genesis Universe, waiting for Joe Di to return for a major undertaking.

"Yes," Emperor Xander continued, "The Light-Dark Universe is teeming with powerful cultivators, many far stronger than me. Back then, I had not yet reached the Third Step and was only a late Genesis Realm cultivator. Once, I went to the First Saint Domain of Brightrealm to attend an auction and accidentally saw a supreme treasure called the Fivefold Dao Tower..."

"Fivefold Dao Tower?" Joe Di was startled. He knew this tower had been refined and taken away, and he even suspected who the refiner was—Faye Dee.

However, based on the information he later obtained, the Fivefold Dao Tower had ended up in Jaden Dai's hands. Faye Dee must have been killed by Jaden Dai. If so, how could news of the Fivefold Dao Tower have surfaced in the Light-Dark Universe?

Wait, when he had just killed Jaden Dai, he hadn't seen the Fivefold Dao Tower in Jaden Dai's world. It seemed there was another reason behind this matter.

Because of his interruption, Emperor Xander paused. Joe Di spoke, "Go on."

Emperor Xander continued, "Later, I heard that the Fivefold Dao Tower was auctioned off by a mysterious powerhouse. After leaving the auction, I made some inquiries and learned that the Fivefold Dao Tower originally belonged to our Five Elements Universe. It was brought to the Light-Dark Universe by a woman named Faye Dee. The one who bought the Fivefold Dao Tower was the Jules Family, the strongest in Brightrealm. Faye Dee was not killed but imprisoned in Brightrealm because the Fivefold Dao Tower was incomplete and still lacked the Fivefold Seal..."

"What about Debbie Di?" Joe Di didn't care about the Fivefold Dao Tower or Faye Dee; what he cared about was Debbie Di.

"It's said that the news Faye Dee leaked was that the Fivefold Seal is with Debbie Di's younger brother. So, before they obtain the Fivefold Seal, they imprisoned both Debbie Di and Faye Dee in Brightrealm." Emperor Xander had guessed part of it, and couldn't help but feel relieved for having shared this information.

A murderous intent surged in Joe Di's heart, but what he worried about most was Debbie Di's eyes. Debbie Di possessed the Sacred Spirit Eyes; if those bastards in Brightrealm found out, it would be a miracle if her eyes were spared.

It took Joe Di a while to calm his breath. He then said to Emperor Xander, "You guessed right. The Fivefold Seal is with me. I'm heading to the Light-Dark Universe now. Thank you."

Emperor Xander quickly produced a Direction Sphere and handed it to Joe Di. "I entered the Light-Dark Universe from this location, which is also called the Everdeep Abyss..."

Emperor Xander knew that Brightrealm had imprisoned Faye Dee and Debbie Di just to lure Joe Di over, but he didn't warn him. It wasn't out of ill intent; he simply understood that with Joe Di's strength, Brightrealm's schemes were nothing but a joke—there was no need to warn him.

Throughout his cultivation journey, Joe Di was the most formidable cultivator Emperor Xander had ever met. Even when he was just a lowly Qi practitioner, Emperor Xander never thought immortals were that remarkable or unattainable, because he was sure he'd reach their level someday. But today, Joe Di had shattered his confidence; for the first time, Emperor Xander felt he might never catch up to Joe Di.

Joe Di accepted the Direction Sphere and patted Emperor Xander on the shoulder. "Thank you for today. If you ever reach the Vast Chaos, how do you plan to prove the Third Step?"

Emperor Xander was overjoyed, knowing that Joe Di was about to offer him some guidance.

"I've heard that many great cultivators, before achieving their Grand Dao, sever their Dao and then prove the Dao again. I plan to sever my Dao and divine powers, let myself fall from the Dao Fusion Realm, and then re-attain the Third Step." Emperor Xander shared his thoughts without reservation.

In front of a powerhouse like Joe Di, even the slightest guidance could benefit him for a lifetime.

Joe Di shook his head. "If you do that, you might never progress again in this life. I've seen friends who severed their Dao, and they all ended up limited by their own Dao. In fact, I myself have severed my Dao before, though not in the same way you described. Severing the Dao is just drinking poison to quench thirst. Besides, severing the Dao and severing divine powers are different—they're completely separate matters."

At this moment, not only Emperor Xander but even Zhong Ao and the others were listening attentively from the side.

Joe Di explained slowly, "For someone like Old Zhong, who hasn't yet reached the Third Step, he can go to the Vast Chaos to refine his own chaos domain, then break through the chaos and reach the Third Step. As for you, Emperor Xander, if you want to reach a higher level, you must sever the realm to prove the Dao..."

Sever the realm to prove the Dao?

Emperor Xander looked at Joe Di in confusion. Joe Di had previously guided Quinn Moten on severing the realm to prove the Dao, but Quinn Moten's foundation was much deeper than Emperor Xander's. Moreover, Quinn Moten had failed at severing the Dao to prove the Dao, so when Joe Di mentioned severing the realm to prove the Dao, Quinn Moten understood instantly.

Joe Di said, "It's fine if you don't understand. When you reach the Vast Chaos, you'll get it. You're currently at the Boundary Fusion Realm; after severing the realm, your cultivation will fall, but your state of mind will rise. When you refine your cosmic world again in the Vast Chaos, and finally break through your own universe, you'll become a true powerhouse in the vastness."

Emperor Xander still didn't quite understand the difference between severing the realm and severing the Dao, but he vaguely sensed that Joe Di was telling the truth.

"Thank you for your guidance, Brother Di." Emperor Xander saluted again.

Joe Di added to Emperor Xander, "Severing the realm and refining your own cosmic world can fail. If you can't break through the world you refined in the Vast Chaos, you might end up suffocating to death within your own chaos."

Emperor Xander clenched his fist, confident in himself. If others could succeed, why couldn't he?

"Don't think I'm lying to you. The founder of the Light-Dark Universe, Quinn Moten, refined his own chaos world in the Vast Chaos and nearly suffocated to death because he couldn't break through it." Joe Di gave Emperor Xander a heartfelt warning despite his confidence.

Someone as talented as Quinn Moten almost died trapped in his own chaos domain. Before anyone tries to sever the realm to prove the Dao, they should ask themselves if they can truly do it.

After speaking, Joe Di ignored Emperor Xander and turned to Sprout. "Garrett and Old Zhong need to cultivate. You should return to Celestial Beyond and wait for me. Tell them I'm just going to the Light-Dark Universe for a bit and will be back soon."

"Yes, big brother." Sprout was thrilled—he finally wouldn't have to keep running and hiding like before.

After bidding farewell to Old Zhong and the others, Joe Di immediately rushed toward the Light-Dark Universe.
