Julian King's Brother, Tim King

Wendy Wang quickly pulled out a file from her bag and handed it to Cecilia Grant. "Here's the information. If you still remember Helen Jiang's marriage selection event, you'll recognize him. Back then, when we were at the Jiang Hot Springs Resort choosing suitable partners for Helen Jiang and Eric Jiang, this man was one of the top candidates. You even said that if Helen could rein in her temper, this man would be perfect for her."

Hearing Assistant Wang say this, Cecilia Gu immediately became interested. She pulled out the file for a look and instantly smiled.

She really did recognize him.

This man was the young master of the King Family back then—Julian King (formerly Cheng Tian).

But now, he's known as Julian King.

So, Julian King's mother's rival is actually the eldest daughter of the King Family.

Tsk tsk, the world really is small. After all this time, we run into each other here.

Cecilia Grant carefully looked at Julian King's profile and photo, nodding as she said, "The King Family really has good genes—Julian King is quite the handsome man. Even though he's an illegitimate child, he didn't turn out badly. Under the King Family's protection, he's become pretty successful. But for such a great guy, how come he never found the right match?"

Aunt Rona said, "His love life has nothing to do with his achievements, okay? Julian King is actually pretty low-key, always working in the family business. Maybe it's because he's an illegitimate child, but he rarely hangs out with those spoiled rich kids. Now, he's definitely a rising star."

Cecilia Gu nodded. "That's true."

“Who would've thought, last time it was Helen Jiang looking for a husband, and now it's Julian King looking for a wife. This world is really something!” Cecilia Grant couldn't help but sigh. “It’s a pity, Helen Jiang was so ruined back then, and Eric Jiang still refuses to... Well, let's not talk about him, he has his own plans. We should focus on solving things for these two first. By the way, Aunt Rona, we’re giving Julian King such a good opportunity—do you think he'll say yes?”

“Why wouldn't he?” Aunt Rona snorted with a laugh. “The Cheng Family may be something, but compared to the Yin Family, they're nothing! The Empress Dowager herself is picking out a wife for him—this is an honor! You're basically like the Empress Dowager now, Cici, arranging marriages. Who would dare say no?”

Cecilia Grant nearly spit out her milk, and Wendy Wang quickly handed her a napkin.

Cecilia Grant pointed at Aunt Rona, "You—you—you... Can you not say such shocking things so casually?! Empress Dowager, really! I'm just helping out, that's all. Purely helping!"

Aunt Rona replied calmly, "It's pretty much the same, isn't it? Wendy, go contact the King Family. Just ask Julian King if he's willing or not."

Wendy Wang stood aside and smiled, "Of course I've asked already. The King Family is thrilled to be connected with the Yin Family, they've been excited for ages!"

Aunt Rona turned to Cecilia Grant, "See? I told you so! You didn't believe me."

Cecilia Grant sighed, "I just wanted to do something good, I really didn't think that far ahead."

Right now, the King Family in the country was truly celebrating.

They never expected the Yin Family to actually reach out to them first.

We're talking about the Yin Family! That's a level you can't even dream of reaching!

Now that Chief Mrs. Yin is picking out a match for Julian King, the King Family would have to be crazy to refuse!

No matter what kind of wife Cecilia Grant finds, the King Family will accept her with open arms.

Meanwhile, at the center of it all, Julian King was already meeting with the other male lead, Ethan Yin.

"Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Julian King, the King Family's... illegitimate son." Julian King appeared before Ethan Yin, looking sharp. "I'm also the other male lead joining you for this grand matchmaking event."

Ethan Yin hadn't expected Julian King to approach him first, and was a bit surprised, but then shook hands with Julian. "I've heard a lot about you."

"You're too kind," Julian King said respectfully. "I'm just lucky to be here thanks to you."

Ethan Yin gave a wry smile and said, "Sit down. Want something to drink? Beer or liquor?"

"Beer," Julian King replied with a slight smile.

Ethan Yin turned to the bar, "Give us a dozen beers."

Julian King smiled at Ethan Yin, "Second Young Master Yin, you seem to come to the bar pretty often these days?"

"What else would I do if not drink?" Ethan Yin answered softly. "There’s nothing much for me to do. The company’s running smoothly—my brother handles the big stuff, the assistants take care of the small stuff. I just supervise."

"You don’t support this matchmaking event?" Julian King asked sharply.

Ethan Yin looked at Julian King with a half-smile, "What about you? Do you support it?"

Julian King lowered his head, "My situation is pretty awkward. I work with my mom at my grandfather’s house. I don’t get to make many decisions."

Ethan Yin nodded thoughtfully, "So, do you have someone you like?"

Julian King looked away, "Does it matter whether I like someone or not? To my mom, my dad, and my grandfather, sacrificing me to please the Yin Family is the best deal they could make."

Ethan Yin gave him a surprised look, "So you really do have someone you like! Why don’t you fight for it?"

"Fight for it?" Julian King gave a bitter laugh. "How could I fight? I don’t have the guts. If they cut off my credit card, I’d be done for. Maybe love just isn’t that important to me. What about you, Second Young Master Yin? Do you have someone you love?"

Ethan Yin swirled the drink in his glass, his eyes a little distant. "Me? Someone I love? Maybe I do, maybe I don’t. I’m not like you. You’re forced into this, but I’m here by choice."

"Why?" Julian King looked at him in surprise. "You're willing to let someone else control your marriage?"

Ethan Yin gave a self-deprecating smile. "You're an illegitimate child, so am I! We're not that different—just a matter of rank. Not just my marriage, my whole future is controlled. But you don't really know her. My marriage and future are in her hands, and that's not so bad. At least, I trust her."

Julian King looked at Ethan Yin in surprise.

Ethan Yin patted Julian King's shoulder, speaking earnestly, "Sometimes what you pursue isn't necessarily right. The path others arrange for you may not be wrong."

Julian King shook his head, not understanding.

Ethan Yin didn't explain further, just kept drinking one glass after another.

Isn't Ma Yingying a perfect example?

She's obsessed with seducing Ethan Yin, but scoffs at the path he arranged for her.

Actually, if she could calmly settle down and gain enough skills in the Yin Family, why wouldn't Ethan Yin take care of her?

After graduating high school, Ma Yingying started working. With her experience and ability, she couldn't handle any position in the Yin Corporation!

Even a janitor at Yin Corporation needs at least a college degree!

What could Ma Yingying possibly do there?

Unfortunately, Ma Yingying let down Ethan Yin's good intentions and stubbornly went her own way.

Ethan Yin could only see her through to the end of her journey.

After finishing his drink, Ethan Yin, as usual, left a stack of cash and walked away.

Julian King quickly caught up, "You... aren't drunk?"

Ethan Yin smiled, "This amount of alcohol is nothing to me. If you don't have anything else, go get ready. Once my brother and sister-in-law are back, everything will proceed. Don't worry, my sister-in-law is a good person—she won't pick just anyone for you. Maybe you won't love her deeply, but you'll be able to live respectfully together for a lifetime."

With that, Ethan Yin waved and left coolly.

Julian King stood there, lost in thought.

Someone flashed by in the shadows.

Soon, Ethan Yin in distant London received the news.

Ethan Yin’s long fingers brushed over the newly delivered report, and he smiled. "Looks like my younger brother really has improved."

He closed his laptop, tapped his fingers on the desk a few times, then suddenly stopped and looked up at Alex. "Go tell Ethan Yin he can return to headquarters."

Alex showed no surprise. "Yes, President. What about the Tenhowe branch?"

"Let Henry Shaw take over. He’s been with me for years, this branch can be his retirement." Ethan Yin said casually. "He should start planning for his own future."

"Yes, President." Alex was happy for his brother-in-law and quickly went to carry out the orders.

Sharing this good news with Henry Shaw, maybe when he marries Wendy in the future, his brother-in-law won’t make things difficult for him.

After Alex left, Ethan Yin chuckled softly.

Since he’s so sensible, as the elder brother, Ethan Yin doesn’t mind helping him out.

As long as they can handle the responsibility, Ethan Yin doesn’t mind lending a hand.

On the last day of registration, the King Family finally announced a grand gala to officially announce the engagement between the King and Mo families.

As VIP guests, Ethan Yin, Cecilia Grant, and their group were naturally invited to attend the banquet.

The King Family invited many celebrities this time, and of course, many came just for Ethan Yin.

Although the Yin Family’s roots are in Europe, most of the family spends their time in China.

These people aren’t the kind you can meet just anytime.

So, those who need favors from the Yin Family eagerly asked the King Family to let them attend the gala.

The King Family was happy to oblige and invited everyone they could.

Seeing the scale of the gala, Mrs. King finally smiled with satisfaction.

To her, this was full recognition of her and her son.

Once the engagement with the Mo Family was announced, her son Julian King would have a solid place in the King Family.

Even before the gala began, the two most controversial generations of the King Family met first.

Leon King smiled at Julian King, "Uncle, congratulations! I never thought you’d get to this point."

Julian King also smiled warmly at Leon King, "Thank you, nephew. How could an uncle disappoint the younger generation?"
