Opening My Heart, I Come From Another World (1)

2/14/2026

Winter nights always come with howling northern winds—freezing cold and biting. But inside the tent, it’s warm as spring, heat spilling everywhere.

No one spoke. They just listened intently to every word she said.

"To this day, I still don’t know how I died. Maybe that’s just fate." Ivy Shen smiled faintly at her seven husbands, but her heart ached uncontrollably. Was it fate? Then why did this fate have to be so short-lived?!

Everyone stayed silent, not saying a word, but their gazes only grew more intense.

"What’s wrong? Did I disappoint you guys?" Seeing them so quiet, Ivy started to get nervous. After all, this kind of thing really is hard to accept—but it’s the truth.

She was just a soul borrowing this beautiful shell; her real self wasn’t nearly this pretty.

"Xin’er, darling." The seven men exchanged glances, then all smiled sincerely. "We’re so lucky."

"Huh?" Ivy blinked, surprised.

Lucian Vane and Ethan Chu, sitting beside her, immediately grabbed her hands, while the other four scooted closer. Every single face was overflowing with happiness.

"You guys..."

“Thank you. Thank you for coming into my life. If you hadn’t, I’d never have known what love really is.” Adrian Night was the first to speak, but just thinking about how he almost missed his chance with her made his heart ache all over again.

“Thank goodness I didn’t miss you. Thank goodness I was the first one to fall for you. Thank goodness you fell for me too.” Lucian Vane’s eyes were practically overflowing with love and devotion.

“Honestly, I have to thank myself right now. Lucky me, I married you early—otherwise, I’d have missed out on someone as amazing as you.” Caleb Miles let out a relieved sigh. He seriously felt like the luckiest guy alive.

The three guys couldn’t help getting all sentimental. The other four didn’t say anything, but honestly, they’d been in love with her from day one. Still, they were grateful they’d met her at all—otherwise, they’d have missed out on the most wonderful person in the world.

But yeah, when you really think about it, it’s true—her ideas are always next-level unique.

And her way of doing things? Always pure magic.

Nobody ever knows what she’ll do next, but whatever it is, it always blows everyone’s minds.

Turns out, this girl is literally from another world—a place so far away it might as well be a fairy tale.

“But, but honestly, I wasn’t even this pretty before,” Ivy blurted out, staring hard at them, hoping to catch any weird reactions.

“Xin’er, you really think we only care about your looks?” Lucian Vane frowned, a little annoyed. He went on, “Think about it—back then, did I ever fall for your beauty?”
