Surpassing Limits: Mecha Hunters Decimate Level 4 Kaiju

12/7/2025

Berserker charged forward in giant strides, its entire frame channeling power through layers of reinforced parts, unleashing a world-shaking punch. Its right elbow blasted out a jet of searing heat, dark red light illuminating a thousand meters around—a beacon in the endless polar night. The punch was so fast and fierce that even Berserker’s own right shoulder creaked and groaned, as if it couldn’t handle this monstrous force.

That punch landed squarely on the charging Volt Leviathan.

CRACK! The thick defensive ice shattered and melted instantly—Hellfire burns whatever Jill Young wants burned. As the beast roared in pain, ice turned to water, vaporized into mist, then shot skyward in the fiery updraft, forming a mushroom cloud just like a nuclear blast.

The second punch came crashing down from above, like a divine hammer smashing the monster’s dome.

But Volt Leviathan isn’t just a defensive water-type—it swung its massive claw to counterattack. In the split second fists and claws collided, Berserker morphed its fist into a karate-chop and sliced right at the creature’s joint.

SPLASH—Volt Leviathan’s forelimb was slashed open, blue blood spurting everywhere. Without its handler to suppress its rage, the Kaiju’s bioweapon instincts kicked in. It struck back recklessly, leaving a long gash across Berserker’s chest—sharp claws even sliced a wound right into the cockpit, letting frigid air blast inside and shattering the sensor screens all over the floor.

Any regular Mecha pilot would be totally helpless now—without sensors, you can’t see squat in this endless night. But Jill Young isn’t just anyone. She roared, grabbed the Kaiju’s claw before it could retract, and wound up for a third punch!

The air shrieked as her blazing fist smashed straight into Volt Leviathan’s forehead. CRACK—that’s the sound of bone splintering and metal warping. Berserker’s right fist twisted out of shape; even high-grade alloys couldn’t handle that punch. But the result was spectacular—the fist embedded itself more than two meters deep into the monster’s flesh like a stamp.

“ROAR—!” Volt Leviathan was really hurting now. The spot where the punch landed was charred black, blood gushing out in torrents, spraying everywhere. Its skull cracked, and its brain got rattled so hard it was dizzy and couldn’t fight back.

Buzz—Berserker yanked its fist out, shattered metal pieces falling off. Pushing the mech to max output was brutal; even fifth-gen materials couldn’t handle this power. The damage fed back to the pilot’s mind, so Jill felt the pain too. But even with two fingers gone, Berserker squared up again. Through the blizzard and cockpit cracks, Volt Leviathan saw Jill Young’s determined face and blazing eyes.

This punch will end you!

Buzz—here comes the fourth punch, slicing through the air.

ROAR!! The Level 3 Kaiju, tangled with Shield, charged in to help—like a giant mountain gorilla, it barreled forward. The earth shook as the massive ape sprinted and leapt, its thick arms crashing down on Berserker’s back. At the same time, the dying Volt Leviathan reacted, snapping its jaws toward the cockpit.

“Watch out!” shouted the Landon Father and Son. Shield sprinted after them, but this mech wasn’t built for speed—no way it could catch up. Berserker was caught in a pincer attack, and the sensors were useless, just blasting static and random images.

This was a total dead end.

But Berserker pulled off a move no one could have predicted. Its right fist kept pounding, but suddenly the flames snuffed out. Leaning forward, the punch got even stronger, and its right leg shot up in a high kick behind it—WHAM! Flames blazed on its foot and shin, lighting up the gorilla Kaiju’s twisted face. Just like the earlier suplex, Berserker smashed past the limits of what a fifth-gen mecha could do!

The shattered fist rammed into Volt Leviathan’s mouth—a deep-throat strike.

The burning foot smashed into the gorilla’s face—a total face-breaker.

For a split second, time seemed to freeze—Volt Leviathan and the giant gorilla’s attacks hit Berserker at once, sending parts flying. But Volt Leviathan’s head jerked back, trying to roar, but the sound stuck in its throat. Instinctively, it snapped its jaws shut. Meanwhile, the gorilla’s face burst like a video game enemy hit midair, its head thrown back, tumbling in slow motion.

Next moment, time sped up again. In a flash, Berserker wrenched its nearly useless right arm off, jamming it deep into Volt Leviathan’s throat. Then, with a kick-back, it spun twice, building up unstoppable momentum.

In the next instant, Berserker’s left leg swung up like a golden cudgel, sweeping toward the airborne giant gorilla. The flames on its right foot died out while its left leg blazed, the heat making the move look both surreal and savage. This meteor-like kick was Jill Young’s signature move—Dragon Tail Sweep!

BAM! Another shockwave blasted out in all directions. The gorilla’s cheek took the full force, bones cracking, face deforming, spine twisting—before it could even roar, the monster spun through the air and crashed into a glacier, leaving a giant crater.

With a siren-like roar, Berserker dropped from the sky, straddling the gorilla’s chest. Its knee pinned the beast’s arm joint, making it helpless—like a nerd pinned down by a bodybuilder. Then Berserker raised its burning left fist and pounded the gorilla’s face, three times in a row. The monster’s roar faded, its struggles weakening.

Berserker flipped up, grabbed the gorilla, and slammed it toward the Kaiju fighting the Gao Sisters. BOOM—both monsters toppled, giving the Gao Sisters a breather. They crawled over and attacked. At the same time, Berserker’s left arm sparked from the sudden burst of power.

Looking back, Shield had nearly reached its limit holding off Volt Leviathan for Berserker. The Kaiju, crazed from the throat wound, almost tore Shield apart, but Shield didn’t retreat, protecting Jill’s back.

“Go! Finish off those two, then come back to help—we can hold out!”

The Landon Father and Son’s shouts couldn’t get through the comms, but Jill felt their resolve. Berserker dashed off, left fist blazing. It had to take down the Level 3 Kaiju fast, then finish Volt Leviathan. The mech couldn’t last much longer—speed was crucial.

Meanwhile, Steed charged over the mountain with the Net Spitting Beast in tow. The Kaiju went berserk, its sharp claws tearing into Steed’s back, sending parts flying and ramping up the damage.

“Beat it, Steed! Take it down!” shouted both pilots. Steed suddenly pulled off a wrestling move, slamming the Net Spitting Beast to the ground.

Yuncong, do you remember what I taught you?

I remember—honor and life!

Then let’s shine! The women are fighting with everything they’ve got—how can we back down? Jasper Xiao’s eyes glowed, pupils and whites vanishing in a burst of holy light. If the test system were here, it’d show their compatibility and mental load skyrocketing. 'For the dignity of men!'

Steed seemed to come alive, showing off its speed and dodging the Net Spitting Beast’s webs. Like a wrestling master, it played to its strengths—avoiding brute force and going for grapples and throws. Mech and monster, both agile, fought for their lives with every trick they had.

On both sides of the mountain, epic battles raged. Fifth-gen mechs shouldn’t be able to handle Level 4 Kaiju, but now they were fighting white-hot and fierce. Armor was pierced, limbs torn, even sparks flying in the cockpits—yet not one pilot backed down. Everyone gave it their all, proving their will and potential in this brutal arena. Every mech pushed past its limits.

Lance went down, but not before helping Berserker finish off the last Level 3 Kaiju.

Shield fell, but even as it was torn apart, it never let Volt Leviathan take a step past the line.

Berserker’s left arm shattered too—parts flying everywhere in the desperate assault. But it didn’t lose its fighting spirit; it turned to face the last enemy, Volt Leviathan staring back.

Both charged at each other, like angry bulls on the savanna. Berserker, missing both arms, staggered a bit—its balance system was shot. But flames blazed under its feet, each fiery footprint marking its path forward.

Both leapt, attacking each other head-on.

BOOM! In the massive shockwave, Volt Leviathan and the mech crashed to the ground. Wind blasted out in all directions, whipping up snow and filling the air with swirling white, blocking everyone’s view. The constant shaking, roars, crashes, and flashes of fire kept the fog from settling.

Moments later, CRACK! A severed limb flew out—it was Volt Leviathan’s forelimb. A heart-wrenching roar rang out, then abruptly stopped. THUD, THUD—heavy footsteps echoed as the black Berserker limped out. Its right leg was twisted and deformed, covered in wounds, losing parts with every step.

CRASH! Berserker’s weak right leg finally gave out, shattering. Berserker collapsed, unable to move with just one leg—but it didn’t need to. Once the snow settled, Volt Leviathan’s head was revealed, utterly smashed into a heap of charred meat. Its massive body was still imposing, even in death. But dead is dead—no matter how strong, it was just food for Jill Young.

Two people crawled out of Berserker’s cockpit and rushed into the wreckage of the other mechs.

“Good, good, it’s just mental overload—they just passed out.” After some effort, they got the pilots down and put them in the still-warm Attendant cockpit. Antarctic temperatures were brutal—even with high-tech suits, minus sixty was too much. Attendant’s reactor was mostly intact, so its cockpit stayed warm and safe.

Whew, done.' Jill Young clapped her hands and stood up, taking off her helmet and breathing into her palms. Even her face was red from the cold. 'The rumbling on the other side of the mountain stopped too. If the monster survived, we might have to bail—but we’re probably not that unlucky, and those two aren’t that weak.

The Teacher suddenly spoke up: “Those five aren’t dead yet.”

Oh?' Jill Young raised an eyebrow. 'You saw them?

Yeah, when they attacked the cliff, all five jumped off to escape. They split up and probably got hit by an avalanche, but I think they’re still alive.' The Teacher’s voice was calm, eyes steady in the darkness, but he was confident in his sight.

Ha, good—they’re alive!' Jill Young cracked her knuckles and strode forward. 'I’ve been wanting to meet these folks. Let’s see what the new Chosen Ones are really made of!
