Unprecedented Undead Legion

1/5/2026

At this utterly unprecedented, critical moment, Ryan Ling suddenly remembered he still had two Immortal Crystals left. These crystals were his most precious reserves—normally, he wouldn’t touch them lightly. But given the current situation, there was no more room for hesitation!

Without delay, he shouted and sent one Immortal Crystal hurtling straight at the half Heavenly Immortal corpse!

In that instant, the half Heavenly corpse paused, clearly sensing something special about the Immortal Crystal. But as a mindless ghost, it didn’t have the intelligence to process this—so it immediately charged forward!

“Looking for death? Seal!” Ryan shouted, and the powerful Immortal Crystal instantly transformed into a gigantic net, completely wrapping the half Heavenly corpse inside and out!

With Ryan and May Xia’s power added in, the net’s grip was like superglue—instantly binding the opponent tight!

For a moment, the half Heavenly corpse was about to explode with rage. Even though it was dead, its Heavenly Immortal prestige remained—it would never allow a mere True Immortal like Ryan to touch a single bone!

“Heh, still trying to struggle? Get over here!” Ryan didn’t hesitate. He grabbed hold and yanked hard—the tightly wrapped half Heavenly corpse was dragged right to him!

“Master, that was awesome!” May Xia had recovered a bit and immediately cheered, excitement in her voice.

As long as he could pocket this half Heavenly corpse, it would be more than enough to feed Ryan Ling.

Ryan smiled slightly—he knew full well that with this prize, not only could he reach True Immortal great perfection, he might even have a shot at the Earth Immortal Realm!

But just as he was about to succeed, the half Heavenly corpse suddenly began thrashing wildly. Its power was still terrifying—captured or not, it was as fierce as a divine dragon. As it shook and struggled, the noise was so loud that it was bound to attract attention.

Ryan had already checked the area. There were at least a thousand Heavenly Immortals buried in this zone. If even one or two more showed up, he'd be finished!

“Master, you have to suppress it—this can't go on!” May Xia was extremely anxious. If they didn’t get things under control fast, the situation would get dire.

“I know!” Ryan didn’t hesitate. He immediately pulled out his second Immortal Crystal, which erupted into countless cannon blasts aimed straight at the half Heavenly corpse.

For a moment, the half Heavenly corpse was stunned—it clearly hadn’t expected Ryan to go all out like this.

“Damn it, you want to act up? Then I’ll wipe you out completely!” Ryan knew Immortal Crystals were priceless, but if he could secure this Heavenly corpse, he’d likely condense even more crystals later.

At that moment, muffled booms echoed out.

Countless cannon blasts exploded around the skeletal corpse, their power immense but the noise forcibly suppressed—so there wasn’t much reaction from the surroundings!

Instead, the half Heavenly corpse was instantly blasted to pieces!

All its bones shattered, and the essence blood inside was released in an instant.

“That’s what you get for acting up!” Ryan smiled slightly—the explosion was clean and decisive, and he absorbed every last drop of essence blood!

“Master, let’s go—now!” May Xia urged him urgently.

“Right!” Ryan didn’t hesitate at all. He knew perfectly well that snagging this half Heavenly corpse was a massive win!

Now, the most important thing was to rush to the Earth Immortal Burial Ground and refine all this essence blood!

With all this essence, he’d at least be able to break through to True Immortal great perfection before leaving the Sky-Burial Necropolis!

And as long as he had enough time, his other reserves would be enough to push him into the Earth Immortal Realm!

Ryan’s plan was solid!

But just as they were about to leave the Heavenly Immortal Burial Ground with the corpse’s essence, the gap they’d used to enter suddenly sealed up—and a wave of bone-chilling, terrifying aura appeared all around!

“Crap!” Ryan instantly sensed deadly danger. Clearly, that last blast had alerted the entire Heavenly Immortal graveyard!

This was definitely the worst possible outcome!

“I have to find a way out!” Ryan gritted his teeth and shouted, charging straight at the sealed gap. But the moment he slammed into it—bang!—he was bounced right back, sent flying.

At that moment, ghostly figures appeared in the air. These 'ghosts' were terrifyingly huge, each hundreds of meters tall—towering so high they seemed to fill the entire sky.

No doubt about it—these were top-tier Heavenly Immortal monsters.

Before, the Earth Immortal Burial Ground had the Snow Demon, but these new monsters were even more terrifying—enough to make anyone’s mind collapse!

Ryan knew perfectly well—even if he instantly devoured the half Heavenly corpse and broke through to peak True Immortal or even Earth Immortal, he still wouldn’t be their match!

May Xia was also scared out of her wits. She’d thought they were being careful, but now they were like two trembling rabbits surrounded by a pack of wolves!

“Master, I—I’m scared!” May Xia took a deep breath, tears streaming down her face.

The terrifying ghosts closed in, but didn’t attack right away—they seemed to be watching, waiting for something.

Ryan knew brute force was hopeless. His only option was to use his wits!

“Seniors, I’m Ryan Ling—a junior who only entered the Heavenly Immortal Burial Ground out of desperation. Punish me however you want, just please spare my life and let me return to avenge my friends!” Ryan pleaded, gritting his teeth.

Right now, faced with these beings, begging for mercy was his only option!

“A Golden True Immortal? Rare. You’ve got a strange aura—who exactly are you?”

“And besides this Golden True Immortal, he seems to have a mysterious treasure tree that actually connects to the Immortal World. Unbelievable!”

“I think this kid has some value. We shouldn’t kill him off so casually!”

...

Hearing the ghosts’ words, Ryan quickly rolled his eyes and said, “If you seniors think I’m useful, I’m happy to serve! Not gonna lie—I’m actually a Yama from another world, super compatible with spirits. Plus, my treasure tree can absorb Immortal World qi. If you want, I’ll supply it to you for free!”

Ryan wasn’t overthinking it—his only goal was to keep these ‘ghosts’ calm. As long as they didn’t attack, he’d have a shot at survival. Right now, his biggest headache was Harlan Yanro; everyone else would have to bow their heads!

“So you’re a Yama too? I can sense a hint of underworld aura on you—that’s good. Since you’re so sensible, we won’t kill you for now. But you have to stay and serve us, and all the Immortal World qi from your treasure tree must be supplied to us. As long as we’re satisfied, you get to keep living. Got it?” the ghosts said.

“Stay here?!” Ryan shook his head immediately. “No way! I’ve got urgent business—a top-tier Heavenly Immortal just ascended in the Immortal Domain and wants to wipe out all the surrounding forces to rule as king. I have to stop him, or my friends and family are doomed!”

“A freshly ascended Heavenly Immortal thinks he can dominate the whole Immortal Domain? He’s dreaming!” one ghost snorted.

“No, he really plans to! And he’s gonna sweep through the entire Sky-Burial Necropolis, flatten your tombs, and build his palace right on top!” Ryan bluffed, making stuff up on the spot.

“What? Hell no—I’ll go wipe him out right now, you believe me?” Another ghost’s scalp tingled at the news!

“I swear I’m not lying—he really said it!” Ryan insisted, realizing these ghosts were strong but kind of gullible. A little trick and they believed him instantly.

“Where is he? Take us there now!” Suddenly, the ghost nearest Ryan revealed its true form—Ryan was stunned: instead of a scary monster, she was drop-dead gorgeous, like a celestial fairy with zero terror and maximum charm. His heart almost skipped a beat...
