Power Grows Madly

1/5/2026

At this moment, the scene was absolutely insane—nobody could've imagined that in the blink of an eye, all the men nearby would be wiped out. The spectacle was so intense, everyone watching was left stunned, totally dumbfounded!

"Spare me, spare me!" Seeing the carnage in front of her, Hannah Yang completely broke down. She looked helplessly at Ryan Ling, her eyes filled with terror. It was obvious—Ryan was the absolute king here, and none of them could even dream of matching him. Forget fighting back, they weren't even qualified to make eye contact with him. Ryan's strength was just way too overpowered!

"Spare you? You vicious woman—like hell you deserve it!" Ryan shouted, voice raw and furious. Without a shred of hesitation, his massive hand gripped Hannah Yang's throat. If he wanted, he could snap her neck with a flick—she'd be dead on the spot, no suspense at all!

"Spare me! I swear I'll never dare again! I’ll give up the Saintess position to Lynn Long, no strings attached—I’ll quit!" Hannah Yang screamed, her voice laced with pure misery.

"Too late!" Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second. The moment he spat those words, he struck—his power erupted in a flash. Ryan knew better than anyone: in this situation, Hannah Yang had to die, period. Only with her gone could Lynn Long truly be saved!

Because the so-called Blood-Demon Grand Array had its core in Hannah Yang—once she was destroyed, the whole mess would be settled!

"No, don’t—!" Hannah Yang finally realized her time was up, shrieking in terror as loud as she could.

"Idiot, I’m taking your life right now!" Ryan had no more doubts—he roared, and Hannah Yang’s whole body exploded inside and out. But right as she burst, every last wisp of her energy was sucked up by Ryan. For him, all that power was pure gold—after all, Hannah was the Saintess-candidate, packed with Elysium Sect essence. That stuff was perfect for Ryan’s breakthrough!

After wiping out Hannah Yang, Ryan instantly sensed Lynn Long off in the distance let out a huge sigh of relief—like she’d just surfaced from underwater. Instantly, she felt way better!

Obviously, with Hannah Yang gone, Lynn Long was totally fine now—the so-called Blood-Demon Grand Array had lost all its power!

"Spare us, spare us!" Now that the boss had just been wiped out, all the remaining survivors around dropped to their knees with a thud.

"Bunch of spineless losers!" Ryan shot them a vicious glare, then barked out a command. A wave of raw power blasted out, so overwhelming it felt like it could pierce the heavens. Under that force, nobody could hold up—one by one, they all exploded. To Ryan, these guys were just trash, no threat at all. Cleaning them up was a breeze!

In the blink of an eye, everyone inside and outside the Saintess Hall was wiped out. Ryan’s mission here was basically complete. He didn’t hesitate—sticking around any longer would be dangerous. After all, he’d just killed Hannah Yang and a ton of Elysium Sect members, all major players. If the whole sect started investigating, the fallout would be huge—no doubt about it!

Plus, after taking out Hannah Yang, Lynn Long’s injuries had already improved a lot. No reason to hang around—the plan was to bail from the Saintess Hall ASAP.

But right at that critical moment, things changed—suddenly, tons of people started showing up, all heading straight for the Saintess Hall. It looked like Hannah Yang had managed to leak what happened here before dying, and now every Elysium Sect member seemed to know.

"Don’t panic, keep it cool!" Ryan froze for a second. In theory, he’d been super careful handling Hannah Yang—sure, things got bloody inside, but outside nobody should've noticed a thing. Besides, Ryan's anti-detection skills were top-tier; if anything had triggered outside, he would've caught it. During the whole massacre, he hadn’t sensed anything off!

"They’re probably not coming for me!" Ryan took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm. At this crossroads, he figured he was safe.

As he steadied himself and waited, he finally realized this mob wasn’t heading his way—they were all marching toward the Elysium Sect’s rear mountain. There had to be at least a thousand top experts, every one of them a serious heavyweight!

It was basically the whole sect’s elite force mobilizing at once—such a massive scene almost never happened. Only one thing could trigger this: something huge was going down!

And now that they’d locked down the whole area, there was no way Ryan could get out. He had no choice but to hide out in the Saintess Hall and quietly observe, waiting to see what happened next.

"Is it coming out? This time it’s gotta show up, right?"

"It’s gotta work. We’ve waited a hundred years for this—if it still doesn’t show, I’ll die bitter!"

"We’ve waited two hundred years for this spirit body. If Elysium Sect didn’t have it, Heaven-Earth Sect would've wiped us out ages ago. But now, with the spirit body appearing, all our top experts finally have something to rely on. Maybe, with its power, in the next year or two we’ll have a shot at breaking into the Heaven-Earth Eternal realm!"

......

Hearing all this, Ryan Ling was a little dazed—these guys were talking way above his pay grade. Still, it wasn’t hard to get the gist. And these weren’t ordinary people; every one of them was a monster at the Immortal King level, the absolute top tier of Elysium Sect. Some of them might even be the force backing Hannah Yang! Ryan knew better than anyone: right now, he absolutely couldn’t just walk out. If he did, he’d be toast—these experts were way too strong, true monsters among monsters. At his current stage, he couldn’t take them on. So the smartest move was to lay low and wait for things to play out. Plus, when they mentioned the ‘spirit body,’ Ryan suddenly thought of parts of his own old body. Back when he first entered Elysium Sect, he’d already sensed something powerful inside—maybe those reactions were from his own body parts!

If he could get his hands on those things, he’d be set for life!

With his current strength and reserves, breaking into mid-stage Saint Immortal was a given. But if he wanted to go higher, he’d need way more resources—unless he could nab a few top Immortal Kings for fuel, his power just wouldn’t level up any further!

But if the chance came, Ryan definitely wouldn’t let it slip. If he could track down a piece of his body inside Elysium Sect, it’d be a jackpot—no way he was leaving now. And with all these experts obsessed with the spirit body, nobody was paying him any mind. For now, Ryan was totally safe.

"It’s gotta be coming out soon, right? I’m getting impatient!"

"Chill! We’ve waited a hundred years—what’s a few more minutes?"

......

All the Elysium Sect powerhouses were shouting now. Sure, they talked about patience, but honestly, everyone was hyped—this kind of thing almost never happened. Ryan Ling was laser-focused, locking his attention on what was about to emerge. Something big was coming!

No matter how hard he focused, Ryan couldn’t see what was really inside. Suddenly, a wave of beautiful sounds rang out above Elysium Sect, and the sky burst into rare phenomena—everywhere, blazing sunlight, like the world was about to ignite!

"This thing is wild!" Ryan was stunned—he had no clue what kind of treasure was hiding here. All he felt was a flood of powerful energy. If someone could absorb all that, the benefits would be insane. Right now, Ryan didn’t hesitate—he started devouring like crazy, swallowing everything around him, mouthful after mouthful. He felt like he was about to explode with joy!

He was almost certain now—the energy bursting out proved it. This top-tier treasure about to be born was definitely a part of his old body, and it had to be way better than anything he’d gotten before. If he could snag it, his power would skyrocket!

"Hell yeah!" He couldn’t help but yell inside, totally fired up. He wanted this treasure more than anything, but he knew better than anyone—it was gonna be tough. There were at least a dozen top Immortal Kings around, each one a monster. If Ryan so much as made a peep, he’d be dead in seconds!

He had to come up with a plan. Ryan’s mind was spinning, brainstorming ways to get close!

The energy was getting thicker by the second. Lightning flashed overhead, and all sorts of weird phenomena started popping up. It was clear the so-called spirit body was about to appear. If Ryan didn’t act now, he’d miss his chance!

"What are we waiting for, guys? Let’s rush in and grab a spot—nobody loses out, and we can split the loot later!" One Elysium Sect expert charged forward, and the rest followed. Nobody wanted to miss out. If they could get their hands on the treasure, even just a slice, it’d be a huge win!

And right now, nobody was paying attention to Ryan—which was perfect for him. If he didn’t act now, he’d miss his shot for good!

Right at that critical moment, the energy around Ryan suddenly shifted. He hadn’t moved, but something nearby was stirring—the Ancient Celestial Wood. It was resonating powerfully with him. After all, he was searching for a part of his own body, and the Ancient Celestial Wood started trembling!

"Ancient Celestial Wood!" The idea hit Ryan—he didn’t have the strength to do anything head-on, not with all these top experts around. If he tried, he’d get wrecked. But with the Ancient Celestial Wood as a shield, he had a chance. Using its roots, he could sneak deep underground, maybe even siphon energy from his own body part hidden below. If he could absorb it, the boost would be massive!

Ryan didn’t hesitate—this was a golden opportunity. He dove underground, his consciousness traveling along the roots to the deepest part of the sect. The Elysium Sect’s underground was a tangled maze, full of traps and formations. Normally, he’d never get past them. But with the Ancient Celestial Wood guiding him, it was a breeze!

Thanks to the Ancient Celestial Wood, Ryan dodged every hidden danger and quickly reached the rear mountain’s depths—a forbidden zone for the whole sect. No formations here, just the treasure he was after: the spirit body!

The spirit body hadn’t emerged yet—it was still underground. Ryan could feel tons of top Elysium Sect experts waiting above, all hoping for their greatest treasure. They’d never guess Ryan was right beneath their feet, like a giant rat ready to snatch the prize!

For Ryan, this was a huge chance. With the Ancient Celestial Wood’s roots, he could absorb the energy here. That body part was already resonating with him—just a little effort, and it would start pouring out power. This was the ultimate boost!

Time was running out. Ryan didn’t hesitate—he started absorbing energy like crazy. Now, he realized the spirit body was actually a part of his torso, way stronger than his legs. It was packed with power, mostly Immortal King-level stuff. If he could drain it all, he might break through to Immortal King himself! Right now, he was just at the Saint Realm, but already rivaled Immortal Kings. If he could level up, he’d be unstoppable—even the top Heaven-Earth Eternal experts wouldn’t be able to kill him. With this much temptation, Ryan couldn’t afford to let it slip away.

"Absorb, absorb, absorb!" Ryan started devouring energy underground—it was a massive advantage, and nobody knew he was there!

Power surged into him, changing him completely—inside and out, he was glowing with energy. His Saint Aura was getting stronger and more refined. He was still at early Saint Immortal, but the instant he absorbed all that Saint Aura, he shot up to mid-stage. Ryan couldn’t stop it—it happened in a flash, and he was loving every second!

And this was just the beginning—nothing else had changed yet. If Ryan kept absorbing, he could keep leveling up. Nothing could stop him!

"Absorb, absorb!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—this was a massive opportunity. If he didn’t seize it, he’d regret it forever!

The spirit body hadn’t actually appeared yet—he was just absorbing its energy. If he could drain it completely, the treasure would be his!

But just then, someone outside shouted, "Something’s off! The energy around here is fading—like someone’s sucking it up. Who is it? Show yourself!"

"Old Six, it’s gotta be you! Nobody’s better at playing innocent than you—if it’s you, just admit it. Don’t embarrass us!"

"Bullshit! I’d never do something that gross. If I find out who it is, I’ll take care of them myself!"

......

Hearing all this, Ryan couldn’t help but laugh underground—these guys still had no clue he was busy absorbing all their power!

As Ryan kept absorbing, the energy around him got thinner and thinner. At the same time, the treasure was getting clearer—it was right there! If he could drain just a bit more, it’d show up. But with all these experts eyeing it, Ryan had to go all out. He used every ounce of his energy, every root of the Ancient Celestial Wood, to get at the treasure. It was heavy stuff—he couldn’t afford to slack off. Even if the treasure was connected to him, there were still plenty of rivals. He had to move fast, or he’d lose it all.

Just then, someone outside shouted again, "Enough waiting! If we keep stalling, we’ll lose the treasure. Let’s open the underground vault and bring it out ourselves!"

"That’s right—nobody can wait any longer. We should act now and grab the treasure for ourselves. Only when it’s in our hands can we relax!"

......

All the Elysium Sect experts started shouting—they couldn’t wait any longer. If they didn’t act now, things would only get worse.

"Crap, these guys finally lost patience!" Ryan was sweating—this was a critical moment. If he didn’t grab the treasure now, they’d come for him next, and he’d be toast. Their power was sky-high compared to his!

"Screw it, I’m going for it!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he had to get the treasure before anyone else, or he’d be in serious danger. He poured every ounce of power into his move, bursting forward. The ground shook, and a surge of energy flooded into him. At that crucial moment, Ryan knew he’d finally claimed the treasure—a part of his own body, his torso. Inside was immense Immortal King power. If he could absorb it all, he’d break through to Immortal King in a flash—unstoppable, like a volcanic eruption!

"Awesome!" Ryan grinned—he was totally fired up. But he knew he had to bail fast, or things would get dangerous...
