You Have No Other Choice

In the blink of an eye, more than an hour had passed. Joy's aura had already climbed to the late prince peak, just one last step away from breaking through to emperor and becoming an existence on par with a Nascent Soul expert.

Ian Song, who had been closely watching Joy, now felt a bit more nervous. Joy's breakthrough would, without a doubt, give him a huge trump card, helping him survive better in this world.

Suddenly.

Rippling, twisted energy began to swirl around Joy's body, and her aura surged upward at an astonishing rate. If they weren't inside the Divine Temple, the entire Mesa City would probably be affected by this power.

Ian knew that Joy was desperately trying to break through to the emperor realm.

But after a short while, her surging aura began to drop just as quickly.

For a moment, Ian felt disappointed. It seemed Joy wouldn't be able to reach the emperor realm after all.

But right then, her falling aura suddenly paused, then—strangely—began to climb again.

"What's going on?"

Seeing this, Ian was dumbfounded—mostly just caught off guard.

Joy's aura surged again, and in just a moment, it surpassed her previous peak, continuing to climb even higher.

But before long, the rising aura began to fall back down again.

This time, Ian Song stayed much calmer and simply watched to see what would happen.

When the aura dropped to a certain level, it stopped completely—and stayed that way for a full hour. Just as Ian was starting to think it was hopeless, Joy's aura suddenly surged upward again!

Seeing this, Ian couldn’t help but feel both amused and a little annoyed. Did this girl somehow know what he was thinking and was just messing with his emotions on purpose?

After an hour of buildup, this time her aura climbed even faster—within ten breaths, it had broken past the second peak and was still going up.

"Crack!"

A clearly audible sound came from inside Joy’s body. Then, two more wings sprouted from her back. But now, all seven pairs of wings had turned pure gold, and an overwhelming aura radiated out from her in all directions—even Ian felt the pressure.

"Master, I did it!"

Suddenly, Joy opened her eyes, jumped up from the floor, and threw herself into Ian’s arms, bubbling with excitement.

Joy’s clothes had long since been shredded by the energy, so at this moment she was completely naked. Especially after breaking through to the emperor realm, her body was even more delicate and elastic—touching her, Ian almost couldn’t bear to let go.

"Master, I want you!"

Joy took the initiative and kissed him.

Hearing that seductive voice, Ian, still filled with negative emotions, couldn’t resist at all. He wrapped her up and kissed her back.

By the time Ian and Joy walked out of the Divine Temple, two hours had already passed.

Back in the training room, Cici was waiting. The moment she saw Joy, she couldn’t take her eyes off her and blurted out, "Joy, did you break through too?"

Joy grinned, "I don’t even know what Master fed me, but not only did I break through to prince realm—I went straight into emperor realm!"

"What?!"

When she heard Joy had actually broken through to emperor realm, Cici was totally stunned. She couldn’t help glancing at Ian Song for confirmation.

Ian met her gaze and nodded.

Seeing Ian confirm it, Cici felt a little unbalanced. She’d thought breaking through to prince realm would finally let her suppress Joy, but she hadn’t expected Joy to jump straight past her and even beat her to Ian’s bed.

Thinking about it, she shot Ian a slightly resentful look and secretly resolved to find a chance to climb into his bed herself.

Ian could clearly see the burning look in Cici’s eyes, but he deliberately pretended not to notice. After all, he’d just spent two hours inside the Divine Temple with Joy, and her emperor-level stamina was honestly a bit much—she’d almost taken charge several times, and Ian had to go all out just to keep her under control.

Thanks to those two hours of intense 'battle,' a lot of his negative emotions had finally been vented.

"You two sisters probably have a lot to talk about. I’ll leave you to it!"

With that, Ian walked straight out of the training room. He could feel a pair of resentful eyes locked onto his back as he left.

Once in the living room, Ian summoned the six earl-rank vampires and quickly gathered them together, then called Liza Li, Liza Yale, and Victor Wang.

His Masterwork Storage Ring still held several million heart cores. While there were no more earl-grade cores left, sheer quantity should be enough to push these vampires up to prince rank.

He divided the heart cores among them, then sent them off to cultivate.

Meanwhile, on the Federation’s Homeworld...

Lynn Ning stood in the middle of the encirclement, her face serious, sizing up the four men surrounding her.

She’d been attacked several times lately, and each wave was stronger than the last. This time, any one of these four men had energy on par with hers. Luckily, she’d sensed danger and used those who got trapped in her formations as practice dummies.

After so many fights, her combat experience had grown by leaps and bounds. She’d also realized her martial arts were way stronger than those of her attackers.

So even when facing four opponents of equal cultivation, she hadn’t shown the slightest hint of panic.

"Miss Ning, you may be strong, but you’re no match for these guys. Why not just give up and surrender?"

Just then, the rhythmic sound of high heels echoed, and a stylish black-skinned woman in black leather strolled over.

"Who exactly are you people? Why do you keep coming after me?" Lynn Ning gave a faint, steady smile and looked at the black-skinned woman.

"We’re from the Tian Clan!" the black-skinned woman declared proudly.

"Tian Clan?"

Lynn Ning was a bit puzzled, but her eyes flashed. The Tian Clan might be one of the three great families in this world, but not everyone knew their name. In fact, most ordinary people had no idea they even existed.

Lynn’s social circle was all ordinary people, so it was perfectly normal she didn’t know who the Tian Clan were.

"You really don’t know the Tian Clan?" The black-skinned woman stared at Lynn in disbelief. For someone with War God-level cultivation not to know the Tian Clan was just too surprising.

"Should I?" Lynn replied blandly.

A troubled look flashed across the black-skinned woman’s face. After a pause, she said sincerely, "Since you don’t know, let me introduce you to the Tian Clan. The Tian Clan is one of the Federation Empire’s three apex families. If you offend the president, maybe nothing will happen, but if you offend the Tian Clan, you’re definitely in for trouble. So, Miss Ning, you really shouldn’t resist us. Even if you escape this capture squad, much stronger people will come for you soon!"
