Forbidden Pool in the Sacred Ground

Before them stood a gigantic sacred stone, larger than any other, forming a small standalone mountain.

"This one's huge!" Faye Gale exclaimed in awe.

"What is this place?" Evan Yang was equally curious—how could such a massive sacred stone stand here alone?

Both Evan and Faye gazed at the area, full of curiosity.

Just as they were about to approach, someone blocked their way. "Sacred Mountain's Sacred Ground—no entry allowed!"

"Sacred Ground?" Evan and Faye exchanged glances.

"Yes, please leave," the person replied.

Evan and Faye glanced at each other and left, but Faye secretly sent a voice transmission: "I want to go up and take a look. Will you wait here?"

"You? Better not. I've heard there are strong cultivators on Sacred Mountain—if you force your way in and get caught, it'll be trouble." Evan replied via voice transmission.

"Don't worry about that. Worst case, I'll leave right away." Faye was determined to check out the place.

"You?" Evan was still worried, especially since this Sacred Mountain was strange, and it hid the Alchemy Saint Hand and that mysterious figure.

"Relax, you head back first." Faye smiled, then flashed away along the original path at lightning speed.

She vanished almost instantly, and even Evan's divine sense couldn't track her.

"Strange, she was just here—how did she disappear?" Evan frowned.

Faced with this odd situation, Evan thought for a moment and decided to return along the original path, just in time to run into the same person as before.

The person looked at Evan and said, "Why are you back again?"

"Just passing by." Evan walked past, secretly wondering, "Strange, how did she get in?"

Evan was very curious how Faye managed to sneak in without the guard noticing.

This strange event made Evan even more curious—especially since even his divine sense couldn't track her, nor could it penetrate the Sacred Mountain, as if something blocked it.

"How can I get in?" Seeing the person still watching him, Evan felt uneasy and quickly left, but kept his divine sense locked on the entrance. The Sacred Mountain had only one entrance; the rest was shrouded in mist, so he had no idea what would happen if he tried to approach.
