You Are All Trash

Bolt halted Samuel Woodson's actions. "What you're doing is pointless. Watch me."

After speaking, Bolt raised his claws and slashed dozens of times in the void. A faint crack appeared, and the fierce Dao Rhyme of the void erupted from both his claws, tearing that crack wide open.

A chunk of Ascendant Gold, as large as Starhaven City, appeared before Samuel Woodson. But Samuel was frozen, staring at Bolt's claws.

The size of the Ascendant Gold didn't shock him at all. He had once found Ascendant Gold as large as a planet, so this piece, only the size of Starhaven City, meant nothing to Samuel Woodson.

"So? I didn't lie to you, did I?" Bolt said smugly, then stretched out his Dao Rhyme, preparing to send the Ascendant Gold into his own world.

Samuel Woodson murmured, "Did you just tear open an extra-dimensional space?"

Extra-dimensional space can't be revealed by formation flags at all. Samuel Woodson had once debated this with others—any space they occupied could be hiding some extra-dimensional pocket. Most of these spaces were naturally formed by the universe, like natural restrictions. But unlike natural restrictions, extra-dimensional spaces can't be broken by formation flags.

In Samuel Woodson’s view, if an extra-dimensional space existed long enough, it could eventually form a hidden minor world within the same domain.

While locking onto the Ascendant Gold, Bolt replied, "Of course it's extra-dimensional space. You don't get it, do you? Heh, want me to teach you?"

"Then I must thank you, Brother Bolt." Hearing that Bolt was willing to teach him such profound Dao secrets, Samuel Woodson was so excited he even addressed him as 'Brother Bolt.'

Bolt scoffed, "Extra-dimensional space is nothing special—it's just that every space we exist in has multiple dimensions. My great-grandfather taught me long ago that all spaces exist in multiple dimensions. To truly understand how many dimensions a space has, you need to comprehend the Dao of Space. In the end, it's all about spatial rules. You're not cultivating the Grand Dao of Rules, so explaining it to you is a waste of effort..."

At this point, Bolt suddenly fell silent and sped up. In just a short moment, he swept up the Starhaven City-sized Ascendant Gold and sent it into his own universe. Truthfully, Bolt only half-understood extra-dimensional space; Joe Di had explained it to him quite differently. Over time, Bolt's explanation was just to fool Samuel Woodson. His ability to find Ascendant Gold was simply thanks to the Grand Dao of Rules.

"Friend, those who see should have a share. Swallowing such a massive piece of Ascendant Gold all by yourself—you might not be able to digest it!" A fair-skinned, scholarly youth suddenly blocked Bolt and Samuel Woodson’s path. When he saw Bolt, excitement flashed in his eyes.

Samuel Woodson’s heart skipped a beat. He could tell this youth was definitely a top-tier powerhouse—on a completely different level from Jason Tyler, whom he had killed before.

"Bolt, let's get out of here first," Samuel Woodson decided in an instant.

Bolt darted out instantly, and Samuel Woodson was ready to intercept if the youth made a move. Unexpectedly, the youth didn’t try to stop them.

Samuel Woodson quickly understood the youth’s intention. He wanted them to leave too—this was the Collapse Sand Wastes. If Samuel and Bolt rushed deeper into the Wastes, the youth might not be able to catch them.

Bolt and Samuel Woodson hadn’t ventured deep into the Collapse Sand Wastes. In just a short time, they had charged out. Before they could stop, they felt as if the space around them was locked—a powerful spatial suppression descended.

"Quick, send a message to Joe Di! We’re trapped by a Lockdown Array!" Samuel Woodson, experienced and cautious, had sensed something was wrong when the youth hadn’t stopped them from leaving the Collapse Sand Wastes. By the time they emerged, they were already caught in a spatial array.

Bolt also realized the gravity of the situation. He had just acquired a huge chunk of Ascendant Gold, and there were at least dozens of people coveting it here. That pale-faced youth seemed very powerful too—Bolt didn’t dare be careless anymore.

Bolt sent out several messages, but quickly realized all of them were blocked. Whoever set up this spatial array understood spatial rules at least as well as Bolt did.

"You can't get the messages out, can you?" Samuel Woodson's expression darkened.

...

The Lockdown Array opened, and at the exit stood the pale-faced youth who had blocked them earlier. Every cultivator nearby, regardless of their strength, treated him with utmost respect.

Compared to Jason Tyler, who had led before, this pale-faced youth seemed even more like the true leader.

"Jason Tyler, who entered the Collapse Sand Wastes with you earlier, is missing. If I’m not mistaken, you killed him, didn’t you?" The pale-faced youth still wore a gentle smile.

Bolt raised his claw and pointed at the pale-faced youth. "What, he tried to kill us—weren’t we allowed to fight back? Old Sam was the one who killed him. So what?"

Samuel Woodson gave Bolt a speechless look. Why didn’t you say you killed him yourself? Now you’re just earning his hatred.

The pale-faced youth smiled warmly. "No matter. Jason Tyler was my best friend. Now that you’ve killed him, do you really think you can just walk away?"

"The Seven-Clawed Sky Whale is a mutated Kunpeng divine beast—not only can it traverse Chaos, it can ignore the Dao rules of the Collapse Sand Wastes. More importantly, it has a unique power: it can always find a way out of Chaos. If you cultivate with its blood essence, you can comprehend this innate divine ability..." a sudden voice interjected from the side.
