War God at Spirit‑Wandering Great Perfection

That plump flesh radiated heat into the snowy ground, forming white mist—a shocking sight. With his cultivation already at Spirit‑Wandering Great Perfection, he was considered a top figure in the Northsource Region.

He looked so fat, yet his movements weren’t slow in the slightest—it seemed as if his body’s size had no effect at all on his agility.

“Kid, don’t think you’re all that just because you’ve reached late-stage Spirit‑Wandering. Today I’ll show you what real strength means.” The fat man tangled with Evan Yang in midair. Although Evan’s footwork startled him for a moment, he never believed Evan could actually defeat him.

Evan Yang took a deep breath. This wasn’t his first time fighting a Spirit‑Wandering Great Perfection expert—he’d already clashed with Joel Qiao from the Demon Sect and the Sky Unity Sect Master recently. Now, fighting again, he could accumulate experience and find a way to push the opponent back, so he could break into the secret passage.

This time, Evan Yang also used his flying needles.

A volley of flying needles shot out. The fat man’s expression changed dramatically—he didn’t know what those needles were made of, but the friction sound as they cut through the air made him wary.

Then the fat man raised his right hand, where a small shield appeared—instantly, it expanded in size.

The flying needles struck the shield with a crackling sound. None broke, but the fat man was shocked—ordinary treasures couldn’t even embed in the shield. He knew his own artifact’s toughness well.

“Damn it, what are these things?” the fat man shouted angrily.

“These? Of course they’re flying needles—don’t you know?” Evan Yang grinned, then sent out another volley.

Having witnessed the power of the flying needles, the fat man was forced to retreat in midair.

While using the flying needles, Evan Yang also probed for weaknesses with his divine sense.

Behind him? Evan considered attacking from the rear, but sneaking up unnoticed was impossible—there was only one way.

So Evan Yang took out the Sky-Piercing Tower.

The moment the fat man saw the Sky-Piercing Tower, greed flashed in his eyes. Last time, Evan had saved his life with that very Sky-Piercing Tower—if he could seize it now, what a prize it would be.

Evan Yang tossed out the Sky-Piercing Tower, using it as a weapon.

Thinking the Sky-Piercing Tower was an offensive artifact, the fat man raised his shield to block. There was a loud clang—neither was destroyed, but the impact was tremendous.

Evan quickly moved forward to reclaim the Sky-Piercing Tower. Seeing this, the fat man burst out laughing—right now, the Sky-Piercing Tower was closest to him, falling downward. With a flash, he darted to the Sky-Piercing Tower and laughed, "It’s mine now!"

But unexpectedly, Evan Yang smirked—and just then, another Evan appeared from inside the tower.

"Damn!" The fat man’s greed made him forget Evan’s clone might also be hiding here.

By now, it was already too late.

Evan Yang slammed a heavy punch into the fat man’s chest.

The originally plump flesh sank in under Evan’s fist. The fat man’s face twisted in pain, blood spilling from his mouth. Unwilling to accept it, he roared, “You dare trick me!” and lunged to bear-hug Evan.

But Evan wasn’t foolish—his clone retreated behind, while his true body stayed up front. Both attacked the wounded fat man simultaneously.

It was the first time the fat man faced such a crisis. He cursed himself for not bringing his true body, glaring at Evan: “Damn it, how dare you do this to me!”

“Hmph. Back then, you ruined my senior sister’s century of cultivation—what I’m doing to you now is nothing.” Evan snorted coldly, showing no sympathy, and unleashed attacks with both daggers and flying needles.

The wounded fat man could only dodge, but his spiritual power was draining, and he couldn’t keep up with Evan’s speed. That made things much easier for Evan.

Soon, blood was flowing from wounds all over the fat man’s body.

“Fat man, what you did to my senior sister—I’m giving it back to you. You made her lose a century of cultivation, so I’ll make you lose a clone.” Evan snorted coldly, then launched a furious assault. Seizing a moment when the fat man wasn’t paying attention, Evan struck his back and sealed him.

The fat man fell freely, crashing to the ground—only his head stuck out of the snow, the rest of him buried underground.
