Great Medicine and the Dual-Heaven Pill

Sect Master Leon Xiang recounted the entire process. The Devil-Realm Emissary was furious. The formation he set up could indeed block teleportation, but in the end it was destroyed by Evan Yang, which made him extremely angry.

"Damn it, this is infuriating! I must catch that brat. And you all, hurry up and cut off Northspirit's connection to the outside world—stop using all teleportation arrays immediately," said the Devil-Realm Emissary.

"Uh..." Sect Master Leon Xiang felt this was a bit inappropriate.

"What's with the hesitation? Right now, Northspirit and our Devil Realm are on the same side. Don't forget, everyone knows what happened today. They'll definitely organize a crusade against you soon. If you don't isolate the teleportation arrays, they'll arrive here easily. But if you cut them off, it'll take them much longer to get here from other places," the Devil-Realm Emissary said, having completely cornered Northspirit Sect.

Sect Master Leon Xiang knew that once he'd boarded this ship, there was no getting off. At this moment, he could only go and carry out the orders.

Watching Leon Xiang's retreating figure, the Devil-Realm Emissary muttered, "I need to contact the other emissaries as soon as possible."

On the other side, Evan Yang had no idea which planet he'd arrived on, but he knew it was Elder Simon Spring who brought him away.

Elder Simon Spring looked at Evan Yang and smiled. "Kid, you really have some tricks up your sleeve."

"Thanks for the compliment." Whenever Evan Yang was alone with Elder Simon Spring, he always felt a sense of danger, but couldn't put his finger on why.

"Kid, there's something I need to ask you to help me with," Elder Simon Spring said with a smile.

"Ask me for help? What is it?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"I want to refine a Dual-Heaven Pill," said Elder Simon Spring.

"Dual-Heaven Pill? What's that?" Evan Yang asked, puzzled.

"Come, follow me," Elder Simon Spring said with a smile. Evan Yang followed, but stayed extra cautious. He could tell this was somewhere Elder Simon Spring often stayed, because Simon moved around here with ease.

After a while, they arrived at an inner cave. The cave had been arranged by Elder Simon Spring, making it hard to spot anything unusual. He opened the cave door, and Evan Yang followed him inside.

Once inside, the door closed behind them.

Inside, Evan Yang could smell a heavy medicinal fragrance. Not only that, the scene before him stunned him: there were ten huge vats, and nine of them were steaming. Even more shocking, nine people were lying inside those vats.

"Sect Master, what's this?" Evan Yang asked, confused.

"The Dual-Heaven Pill. They're all helping me," Elder Simon Spring said with a smile.

"Helping you?" Evan Yang felt something was off.

Elder Simon Spring smiled and said, "The Dual-Heaven Pill needs ten dual-attribute cultivators—I'm just missing one, and that's you. Help me out, won't you?" As soon as he finished speaking, he grabbed Evan Yang and stabbed a needle into Evan's back.

The speed was so strange that Evan Yang didn't even have time to react before he was hit. Immediately, he felt as if all his strength was draining away.

"It's useless. This needle isn't ordinary. Now you'd better behave and stay in this vat," Elder Simon Spring said with a smile.

"Sect Master, you—" Evan Yang finally saw his evil face, realizing his sixth sense had been right all along.

"Don't be nervous, just stay there. It won't cost you your life—you'll still live for some years. Besides, these herbs are all precious, gathered over many years. They'll enter your body, break down, and be refined into the Dual-Heaven Pill. It's the best outcome for you," Elder Simon Spring said with a smile after putting Evan Yang into the medicine vat.

Inside the vat, Evan Yang wasn't panicking. Instead, he asked, "If I'm going to die, I want to know at least what this Dual-Heaven Pill is."

"Naturally, it's for extending lifespan. With it, I can live many more years. I've waited a long time for this," Elder Simon Spring said.

"Waited a long time?" Evan Yang frowned.

"Of course. Do you think it's easy to find ten dual-attribute cultivators?" Elder Simon Spring said with a smile.

Evan Yang understood now. The nine people here were probably all dual-attribute cultivators, and a few wore blue robes, which meant they were from the Blue Robe Sect.

This man... he didn't even spare the disciples of the Blue Robe Sect, Evan Yang thought, a chill running down his spine.

"So you're the only one who's managed to keep your composure after being submerged in the medicinal broth. But soon, you'll be just as silent as the rest—utterly powerless. I'm leaving now. Suffer in silence, and I'll return in a few days to see how well you've endured," Elder Simon Spring said with a chilling laugh.

After Elder Simon Spring departed, Evan Yang examined the medicinal broth around him. He realized that a special needle was lodged in his body, blocking his ability to circulate qi and escape the vat—something beneath was binding him tightly.

But Evan Yang didn't despair, for his body was beginning to undergo a transformation.

Evan Yang discovered that the vat was indeed filled with precious medicinal herbs—but his Heaven‑Cold Seed was absorbing them. All the essence was being drawn in by the Heaven‑Cold Seed.

Evan Yang smirked inwardly, thinking, "I wonder how Elder Simon Spring would react if he saw this scene?"

Elder Simon Spring never expected that all his painstaking preparations would end up benefiting someone else.

Meanwhile, after returning to their respective sects, the other sects immediately reported the incident. The ten great sects swiftly banded together, forming a united front.

Elder Simon Spring naturally also went to make his report.

The current Sect Master of the Blue Robe Sect, Ghost Fan, convened the elders and recounted the events in detail. When the Mad Sage and Elder Qingxia learned of Evan Yang's plight, their fury erupted. The Mad Sage in particular demanded, "What is that Devil‑Realm Emissary scheming?"

Elder Simon Spring claimed that the Devil-Realm Emissary had killed Evan Yang, so no one suspected he was lying, since Evan was actually in Simon's custody.

Ghost Fan, seeing the Mad Sage's agitation, said, "It seems the Devil-Realm Emissary must have some scheme. I've already contacted the other sect masters, and we're preparing to go to the Immortal Realm Alliance."

"Immortal Realm Alliance?" Everyone showed expressions of surprise.

That place is sacred, said to be the most authoritative spot in the Immortal Realm. There are Immortal Sovereigns there, and though it's rarely accessible, everyone knows it's the representative place of the Immortal Realm.

When it comes to matters between the Devil Realm and the Immortal Realm, only the Immortal Realm Alliance can make decisions.

Seeing that everyone understood, Ghost Fan continued, "So lately, everyone must be vigilant and guard the sect to prevent possible Devil Realm infiltration."

After the elders received their instructions, Ghost Fan withdrew, but the Mad Sage sought out Elder Simon Spring and asked, "Is this true?" "Yes, I saw it with my own eyes," Elder Simon Spring replied. "What was the situation at the time?" Mad Sage asked.

"The formation was forced apart, and we each left on our own. But the Devil-Realm Emissary hated Evan Yang, so he kept chasing him. In the end, I only heard Evan's screams; I don't know anything else," Elder Simon Spring said.

After hearing this, the Mad Sage asked, "You didn't see it with your own eyes?"
