Appearance of the Chaos Axe

1/18/2026

"Ian Song, you little thief, prepare to die!"

The Ancestral Immortal expert gave a low shout. As he strode forward, a long spear appeared in his hand, and the Ancestral Dao behind him surged up—a fire-phoenix phantom.

Everyone's Ancestral Dao is different—some manifest as mountains and rivers, others as various plants and trees, weapons, or even divine beasts that become their own Dao.

But divine beasts have true spirits—they're not so easy to condense.

So, even though this expert has reached the fourteenth layer of the Ancestral Immortal realm, his Ancestral Dao hasn't formed a true entity—it's just a fire-phoenix phantom.

Even so, it's nothing to underestimate.

"Boom!"

He swung his long spear with overwhelming force, smashing it toward Ian Song.

"Good timing!"

Ian Song narrowed his eyes and shouted. The Crimson Haze Divine Sword appeared in his hand, transforming into a blazing sword light that met the attack head-on.

"Clang!"

With a thunderous crash, the long spear was knocked aside.

Then, the sword light swept down and slashed sideways, aiming to cut the Ancestral Immortal in half.

"How is this possible?"

The fourteenth-layer Ancestral Immortal was stunned. He hadn't expected Ian Song, only at the tenth layer, to match him head-on—and Ian hadn't even unleashed his Ancestral Dao yet.

"Kill!"

But he refused to back down. Gripping his long spear, he turned into a flash of lightning, launching thousands of attacks at Ian Song in an instant.

Each strike stacked atop the last, forming more than ten terrifying gun-dragons that roared and tore toward Ian Song.

"Slash!"

Ian Song shouted coldly as the Crimson Haze Divine Sword burst with divine light. He slashed again and again, instantly destroying all the gun-dragons. Then, he strode forward, unleashing a flurry of sword attacks.

"Whoa, this guy's Ancestral Dao is literally himself—how narcissistic do you have to be?"

Seeing Ian Song's Ancestral Dao, countless onlookers were left speechless.

"Heavenbreaker Sword Canon, break for me!"

With a thunderous shout, Ian merged into his sword light, which then collided head-on with the spear light.

The clash was like a meteor striking the earth—massive mushroom clouds kept rising, and the surrounding void couldn’t withstand their impact, shattering into black holes.

But after just a few breaths—

A figure was sent flying, covered in blood, his skin riddled with countless cracks, as if he’d shatter at the slightest touch.

"Did that little thief Ian Song die?"

Someone whispered, since they couldn’t sense Ian Song’s aura.

Another chimed in, "He must be dead! He’s only a tenth-layer Ancestral Immortal, and just look at how badly Lord Zhuge was injured. If he’s not dead, then there’s no justice!"

"He was pretty proud, though—being able to injure Lord Zhuge that badly. If he died, at least he died without regret!"

Meanwhile, the Zhuge Ancestral Immortal who fought Ian kept his eyes locked on that chaotic energy stream, hope flickering in his gaze.

Just now, the two had clashed furiously. In the end, Ian’s sword-qi had pierced into his body, while his strongest attack swept toward Ian.

Soon, the chaotic energy stream faded away.

Then, a spotless, white-robed, handsome young man strode out.

"Impossible! How are you unharmed?"

The Ancestral Immortal’s eyes narrowed sharply as he shouted in disbelief.

The crowd of Immortals watching all widened their eyes—how could that little thief Ian Song possibly be unscathed?

"Why not? With just your strength, you can’t hurt me!"

Ian Song chuckled and shook his head.

"Pfft!"

The Ancestral Immortal, overwhelmed by rage, spat out a mouthful of golden blood. Cracking sounds spread across his body, and with a thunderous bang, he exploded into a cloud of blood mist.

His emotions had run wild, and he could no longer control the sword-qi rampaging inside him.

On the other side, Ancestor Martin fought fiercely against Blake Shentu and two other fourteenth-layer Ancestral Immortals. Both sides were going all out, every move shaking the heavens.

At first, the three joined forces and managed to suppress Ancestor Martin.

But just as he was falling behind, a fiery-red suit of armor appeared on his body. This mysterious armor could actually neutralize most of their attacks.

With this armor, Ancestor Martin fought them to a standstill.

As for the armor, Ancestor Grimm had forged it from the divine corpse armor Ian Song had taken from a god, turning it into a semi-divine set.

Though its power was far below that of a true divine artifact, it was still a semi-divine item—even an ordinary fifteenth-layer Ancestral Immortal would struggle to break it.

Seeing this, the fifteenth-layer Ancestral Immortal leading the Seven Immortal Domains looked extremely grim.

"You three, go together—kill him!"

The fifteenth-layer Ancestral Immortal ordered the last three fourteenth-layer Ancestors beside him.

"Alright!"

The three nodded and stepped out into the air, surrounding Ian Song and attacking at once.

These three were no weaker than the last one, and their combined aura was even more terrifying.

"Ha! Perfect timing!"

Ian Song laughed, and an axe appeared in his left hand.

The axe was seamless, barely reaching the level of an Ancestral Immortal artifact, yet the three Ancestors felt an intense sense of danger.

"Kill!"

Ian called out, and his Ancestral Dao appeared behind him once more.

Sword and axe, slashing out side by side.
