"As expected, asking you to do it all at once was a bit much for you."
I gasped for breath, my surroundings slowly returning to normal. The collapse of the Instinctive Space stopped, and the Evil Ghost whimpered as it fell away. I found myself back in the city, glancing once at the mountain behind me.
John Chou stood before me. I sat on the ground, still replaying everything that had just happened. I was this close to being finished, but at least I'd managed to suppress the Evil Ghost's power inside me.
"Does every Blue Wraith have to go through this step?"
After a while, I asked. John Chou crouched in front of me, a smile appearing on his face.
"Of course, brother. This time you managed to suppress it, but next time that primal urge comes up, it won't be so easy. The stronger you get, the stronger the Evil Ghost becomes. But weren't things fine before? Why completely seal off your human side?"
John Chou stared at me in confusion. I shook my head and spoke.
"My memory is still a bit fuzzy, not sure what's going on. But the Deathbane Ghosts said before, the reason my power is so unstable, even weak, is half because of my human side. Now that the Yin-Yang Realm is about to go to war, if I stay like I was, I won't be able to handle it."
John Chou still looked at me with confusion.
"The Starshard Radiance has already been given to you."
