"Are you... the Great Sage?" The Queen of the Women's Kingdom hurried over, covering her lips and staring wide-eyed.
In that instant, Monkey's eyes narrowed to slits as he gazed at her in surprise.
The Queen's reaction stunned the surrounding female soldiers who had encircled them, while Tripitaka and the others remained calm.
Anyone who would call him 'the Great Sage' was likely an old subordinate from Blossom Mountain. Considering the former glory of Blossom Mountain, it was hardly surprising to encounter Monkey's old followers anywhere in the Three Realms.
Marshal Silver and the others instantly breathed a sigh of relief, loosening their grip on their weapons.
After a brief moment of shock, the Queen swiftly landed before Monkey, placed her hands at her waist, and was about to bow, but suddenly remembered herself and merely nodded symbolically, regaining composure. Yet the joy in her eyes, the overflowing smile, and her slightly reddened eyes could not be concealed no matter how hard she tried.
"Stand down... stand down from alert."
"Huh?" One of the female officers pointed at Monkey and protested, "Your Majesty, they're intruders!"
"I said, stand down from alert," the Queen repeated.
Only after confirming the Queen's command did the female soldiers finally release their bowstrings, exchanging bewildered glances.
For thousands of years, the Women’s Kingdom had never allowed foreign invaders to roam freely—especially not male intruders. By rights, even if they weren’t executed on the spot, they should at least have been driven away. Yet her Majesty the Queen ordered her guards to stand down... No one knew what had happened.
Such a sudden turn...
Marshal Silver’s eyes quietly drifted toward Monkey.
At that moment, Monkey’s brows furrowed deeply, and he stood there, utterly stunned.
He genuinely didn’t recognize this person—not even the faintest trace of memory. Yet her behavior clearly showed she knew him.
What now? Given how she was acting, should he tell her he couldn’t recall who she was?
Monkey hesitated, uncertain what to do...
After seeing all her subordinates disarm, the Queen glanced at the people behind Monkey, then nodded to him. Her lips curved slightly in a faint, smiling arc.
"Great Sage, are you just passing through?"
"Yes." Monkey loosened his grip on the staff ever so slightly.
