Bored of Righteous versus Demonic? Let's Change the Chapter Name

12/7/2025

Something that looks powerful isn’t always truly powerful—even the mightiest beings have their weaknesses and blind spots. The Mountain Giant, nearly unbeatable when it comes to storming fortresses, becomes nothing more than a giant punching bag when faced with masters who’ve honed their lightness skill to perfection, trained their bodies to smash mountains, and refined their minds to flawless clarity. Especially since it’s not even a real Mountain Giant—possession isn’t as easy as it sounds! Once its tricks are exposed, it loses its edge.

With all the intel gathered, it’s time to take this beast down!

Go, go, go! Charge up! Let’s smash this big stone fatty!

Whoosh—at the same time, the twins burst forth, turning into two streaks of light racing up the Mountain Giant’s body. Their spiritual power surges, stretching the timeline. With their firepower maxed out, the Mountain Giant looks practically frozen to the twins, just waiting to be climbed.

Bang! Kicking off the rocky surface, the twins rocket straight up—hurdling, leaping, you name it. Two beams of light slice through the air, leaving rippling waves in their wake. In a blink, they’re at the summit, soaring like the sun and moon, right at the Mountain Giant’s head.

Right now, the Mountain Giant is still raging, swinging its arms wildly. But to the twins, it’s like a twisted stone statue turning its shoulders and rolling its arms inch by inch—impressive, sure, but it’d take eight hundred years to reach where the twins are! That wild single eye has lost its black glow, almost as if it’s terrified of being caught again and would rather go blind than risk exposure.

Does it really think it can hide like this?

So naïve!

[Where is it?]

[There!]

No words needed—a glance was all it took for perfect understanding. That giant mouth was the best gateway to the hollow inside. The Mountain Giant’s mouth was a massive stone gate, sealed tight; even without inner vision, you could feel the torrent of magical energy surging there. Clearly, it’s well-defended.

But even the best defense is just waiting to be broken. Now that the twins are teaming up, only the Emperor of Black Death could stand a chance against them. The Mountain Giant’s jaw is locked—so let’s smash a tooth and force our way in!

Boom! Their energy connects with the heavens, pulling in waves of vitality. Working together, the twins pour both yin and yang internal energy into the Xuan Divine Weapon Embryo. The disc-shaped weapon hums with excitement under the weapon master’s command, spinning like a Taiji diagram and flaring with light. Massive internal energy condenses, compresses, and amplifies as the weapon spins, its edge slicing the air and leaving glowing scars.

First wave of attack!

Crash—the Xuan Divine Weapon Embryo spins out with massive force, slicing deep into the stone gate. Magical energy clashes wildly with internal energy, sparks flying everywhere as the magic fights off the invasion. But the weapon’s unstoppable spin carves its way in, finally vanishing into the stone.

Gurgle—deep red liquid sprays out, the main channel of magical energy now severed.

Next, Jill Young grabs Jack Young’s right hand. Dragon Force leaps—a phantom dragon dives into Jack’s left hand. With a mighty shout, Jill channels all her strength and hurls Jack forward—boom! The air explodes in rings, and Jack shoots toward the stone gate like a divine beam. Meanwhile, Jill, knocked backward by the force, flips midair and lands on the Mountain Giant’s raised arm.

She crouches, legs glowing with power—two strands of Dragon Force coil and compress like springs.

Bang! The stone surface shatters like a spiderweb, and Jill Young turns into a streak of light, chasing after Jack Young toward the stone gate.

Second wave of attack!!

Smack! Jack Young, with double-armed, double-dragon power, faces off against the Mountain Giant—the ultimate stubborn tenant. His Demolition Palm Technique unleashes high-frequency shockwaves, each hand working differently but perfectly together, hammering the stone gate with massive damage. The Xuan Divine Weapon Embryo has severed the main magical energy channels, and the scattered magic is no match for the Demolition Palm Technique.

Internal Martial Arts break down the stone gate’s defenses at the deepest level, like constantly lowering the durability on a piece of gear.

"Hmph!" In an instant, Jack Young unleashes hundreds of palms, then grunts and delivers two Advanced Internal Martial Arts strikes, throwing the stone gate’s internal structure into chaos. He kicks off, flips through the air, and floats away like a dolphin leaping from the water. In midair, he arcs a perfect crescent, using a backflip to get clear of the Mountain Giant’s face.

Getting clear—so he doesn’t get caught in the blast.

Right below that graceful arc, a streak of red fire rumbles through the void. Whoosh—golden light flashes, and the two dragon phantoms on Jack Young leap back to Jill Young, like passing the baton in a relay. Four dragons roar; Jill Young stands tall and fierce, her gaze blazing, explosive power surging to the peak in an instant.

Third wave of attack!!!

"Ha—!" One punch, like Mars slamming into Earth, smashes into the stone gate. The void shatters, then explodes. Crack—boom—no one can see what’s really happening, just a mountain-blasting explosion and a cloud of dust shooting skyward.

"We did it!" Whoosh—Jill Young is blasted out of the dust cloud, unable to stop herself from flying backward. The Dragon Force is too strong, and her skill can’t fully counter the ridiculous recoil. Plus, Obliteration Fist burns a ton of energy—even with ninety-nine years of king-grade internal energy, she needs time to recharge before going again.

But Jack Young is ready. Bathed in moonlight, his dantian spins like a vortex, drawing in stray energy. Ever since inventing the Grand Refinement Technique, he’s naturally developed a second product—he’s added an incredible new feature to the Bright Moon Divine Skill. With magic running wild here, stray energy is everywhere.

The arc sweeps along, absorbing energy as it goes. Once enough power is gathered, that crescent arc lands at the perfect spot.

Jack Young, Jill Young, and the impact site all line up perfectly.

"Go!" Whoosh—a burst of icy dust explodes, like a rocket launching a stream of high-energy particles. All the stray energy absorbed is blasted out, accelerating again and again, and Jack Young shoots forward like an arrow. Left hand grabs right hand—smack—they join hands, yin and yang energy swirling together, instantly recharged. Power flows, stamina evens out, and the cost drops dramatically.

Jack Young grabs Jill Young, and together they turn into a streak of light, charging full speed into the lingering dust.

"Charge in!"

Three waves of attacks—smooth as silk, all finished in a snap. Ordinary folks couldn’t see a thing, and even the strong were left speechless. Not a second wasted, not a single slip, and before anyone could process the triple combo, the Mountain Giant was already staggering back, clutching its mouth in shock.

Crunch—the massive stone gate drops from the sky, slamming into the ground. The Mountain Giant really did lose a front tooth.

Inside the Mountain Giant, the twins are tearing through, fighting like mad. Its internal structure is complex, its mouth filled with deadly traps. In pitch darkness, giant stone pillars shoot from all directions, like the giant is chewing them with a mouthful of stone teeth. But the twins, with the Xuan Divine Weapon Embryo leading the way, support each other every step.

Body, spirit, internal energy—all swap and flow between the twins at just the right moments. Yin fills in for yang, yang follows yin. One plus one makes infinity; no other duo could pull off this kind of teamwork. Like a hot knife through butter, they smash through every obstacle, until—"Yaha—!"—they shatter the throat gate and dive into a shaft like an esophagus.

Falling, falling—the esophagus is more like a mine shaft than a well. The Mountain Giant is so huge that the shaft is wide and deep enough for anything.

As they fall, their clothes whip in the wind, and the howling brings endless information. The twins exchange a glance—the shaft is the main channel, with branches everywhere. Waves of magical energy surge through, filling the space with deep red volcanic magic. The whole shaft is like a blood vessel, pulsing with misty, dark red energy. An ordinary person would explode instantly here; even a tough body wouldn’t last long against the volcano’s toxic air.

But the twins just take a quick break—one drinks some water, the other grabs a snack. Jack Young uses the Bright Moon Divine Skill to absorb external energy, while Jill Young tests out the Flame Tide, which immediately gets excited by the massive volcanic magic. Soaking in this dark red mist, the Flame Tide is practically dancing with joy.

All it takes is a word from the twins, and the Flame Tide can sweep up all this volcanic magic—especially the Hellfire inside. Like a starving beast finally catching the scent of food.

"Looks like we were right—Mount Doom really is the root of all volcanoes, and Hellfire flows out from here."

"Once we deal with this stone brute, let’s take a tour. With its help, our Xuan Divine Weapon Embryo might finally take shape."

After a quick halftime break, the twins reach the right depth. With a burst of lightness skill, they stop their fall and strike the shaft wall together—boom! They break through a barrier and finally burst into a wide hollow. No need for words; both know the Mountain Giant’s energy core is hidden here.
