Heaven’s Guardian Hall Eliminates the Demon Tiger
Seeing Faye Lin leave, Liam Yang naturally followed behind.
"Aren't you going in?" Faye Lin said, a bit combatively. Liam Yang smiled, "If you're not going in, then why should I?"
"Fine, then I won't go back." Faye Lin replied, and continued wandering around.
"If you're not going back, where are you going?" Liam Yang asked curiously.
"Let's go play," Faye Lin said.
"Play? Alright, I'll play with you." Liam Yang was stunned for a second, then grinned.
Neither of them knew that inside Heaven’s Guardian Hall, people were discussing this matter. After all, the Demon Tiger’s emergence was no small thing, and Young Master Shen had taken the chance to report information about Liam Yang, which brought him benefits—his injuries were much improved, and his cultivation hadn’t disappeared but was actually restored, all thanks to the divine pills inside Heaven’s Guardian Hall.
"How are you two doing?" At that moment, a man with a large sword on his back asked.
"Senior Xue, we're fine now. Do you know what Heaven’s Guardian Hall has decided about that person?" Young Master Shen was eager to know what punishment Liam Yang would face.
"The sect has already given the order to send people to look for them. We should have news in a few days," the man replied.
Hearing this, Miles Shen smiled, "That's great."
"Then just rest here. If you need anything, come find me." The man finished speaking and left. Miles Shen laughed, "Heaven truly helps me! With such a powerful Heaven’s Guardian Hall, that kid can’t get far no matter how strong he is."
"If that guy gets caught, won't we just be left watching?" Fiona "Madam Blaze" frowned.
"Don't rush—let's wait until the kid is caught. We'll definitely have our chance then," Miles Shen said, his eyes narrowing.
Fiona "Madam Blaze" nodded and fell silent.
Meanwhile, Liam Yang and Faye Lin were having a blast. Liam, always energetic, brought Faye Lin plenty of fun, and their relationship deepened quite a bit.
It wasn’t until Liam Yang sensed someone tailing them that he muttered, "Why is someone following us? Could it be the Shen Family?"
"Where?" Faye Lin asked curiously.
"Look at the upstairs on the left—there are a few people in weird outfits watching us. They've been following for a while," Liam Yang said.
Faye Lin glanced over. When she saw the character 'Heaven', her brows furrowed. "Strange, why is it them?"
"Who?" Liam Yang asked curiously.
"From Heaven's Guardian Hall," Faye Lin raised her eyebrows. Liam Yang didn't know what Heaven's Guardian Hall was, so he asked in curiosity, "Heaven's Guardian Hall—what kind of place is that?"
"It's the strongest sect around. All their members are experts. Strange—they usually don't pay attention to people like us," Faye Lin said, puzzled.
"If you want to know, just catch one and ask," Liam Yang replied.
So he brought Faye Lin to the outskirts. The people still followed behind. Liam Yang stopped, turned, and called out to the woods not far behind, "You can come out now."
Five people stepped out. One of them said, "Please come with us."
"Why should I?" Liam Yang smiled.
"Why? Because of this," the man replied. All five drew their swords.
Their swords flew out together, locking onto Liam Yang and Faye Lin. Liam Yang sneered, "Trying to trap me? Not a chance."
With that, he grabbed Faye Lin. When they reappeared, they were already beside one of the men. Liam struck him hard. The five were shocked—they hadn't expected such bizarre techniques. As they tried to recall their swords, several were already badly injured. The five exchanged glances and vanished on the spot.
Liam Yang laughed, "They sure run fast. What kind of sect are they from, anyway?"
"You still have the mood to joke?" Faye Lin was very worried. Liam Yang asked curiously, "Why shouldn't I?"
"They're from Heaven's Guardian Hall. They're extremely powerful. More people will come soon—this could get troublesome," Faye Lin said, frowning.
"Relax. With me here, they can't do anything to us. Let's just keep having fun," Liam Yang said with a grin.
With Liam Yang by her side, Faye Lin did feel safer and pushed her worries aside for now. Meanwhile, the five wounded men returned to their sect.
A man surnamed Xue—also a promising newcomer of Heaven's Guardian Hall—asked, "What happened to you five?"
"He's too strong. We tried to block him, but he suddenly appeared and beat us," one of them said. The man surnamed Xue frowned, "Got it. I'll go report to Elder Hu."
He walked straight to a grand hall. Inside, three people were discussing matters—these were the same three who had gone to Tiger Prison earlier. When Xue entered, one of them, Elder Hu, asked, "What's wrong?"
"Elder Hu, one of our patrol teams encountered that person, but ended up badly injured," Xue reported.
"One person injured five? How is that possible?" Elder Hu asked, surprised.
"I'm puzzled too, but they said his speed was incredible—he appeared out of nowhere," Xue replied.
"Let's go ask those two—they should know more about him," Elder Hu said. He took Xue to see Young Master Shen.
When Young Master Shen saw Elder Hu arrive, he greeted him respectfully, "Elder Hu, Senior Xue."
"No need for formalities. We need your help with something," Elder Hu said.
Young Master Shen asked, "What do you need help with?"
"Just now, five of our people fought that young man. They said he moved incredibly fast—appearing right beside them. What's going on?" Elder Hu asked.
"Oh, that's because he has a strange technique that lets him move quickly through space," Young Master Shen explained.
After hearing Young Master Shen's explanation, Elder Hu raised his eyebrows, "That powerful? Looks like I'll have to go myself. I want to see just how strong a 'godling' can be."
Elder Hu took some people and left. Madam Blaze asked, "Why did you tell him? What if he's interested in that technique too?"
"There's no choice. If we don't tell them, how can they catch him?" Young Master Shen sighed.
Elder Hu was eager to see Liam Yang's true abilities. He led his group to track Liam down.
At that moment, Liam Yang and Faye Lin were walking down a small path, chatting and laughing. Suddenly, more than ten people surrounded them. Liam Yang smiled, "You guys from Heaven's Guardian Hall?"
"That's right, kid. Be smart and come with us," Elder Hu said.
"What if I refuse?" Liam Yang smiled.
"Refuse or not, you're coming," Elder Hu replied. He flashed beside Liam Yang, but Liam vanished and reappeared farther away. Elder Hu frowned, "Kid, that's a neat trick—but it won't work on me."
"If it's useless, then come chase me," Liam Yang laughed.
"Form the array!" Elder Hu ordered.
Each person drew a sword, and the swords gathered in midair to form a dome. More and more swords appeared, spinning as if multiplying.
"Impressive," Liam Yang was shocked to find the sword array blocking the space around him.
"See how powerful it is now?" Elder Hu snorted. He flashed in front of Liam Yang. With the space restricted, Liam Yang was forced into close combat. If not for Faye Lin being there, he wouldn't have been caught so easily.
Elder Hu took out a treasure and locked Liam Yang's hands, preventing him from using his power. Faye Lin was shocked.
"Let's go," Elder Hu said.
Liam Yang was shocked to find he couldn't use his power. "What kind of treasure is this?"
"A powerful treasure, of course. Stop struggling and come with us," Elder Hu replied.
Liam Yang had no choice but to go. Faye Lin insisted on following him, so the two were taken to Heaven's Guardian Hall. On the way, Liam Yang asked Elder Hu, "Why are you arresting me?"
"It's about the Demon Tiger!" Elder Hu said.
"What about the Demon Tiger?" Liam Yang asked.
"The Demon Tiger was sealed by us, but now it's out—and you released it. We need to investigate. If it really was you, you'll be executed!" Elder Hu snorted.
"You really think I have the power to release the Demon Tiger?" Liam Yang laughed.
"You can still joke at a time like this? But you have a point. Still, I can't judge—when we get to the sect, someone will confront you," Elder Hu snorted.
Liam Yang was curious who would confront him. Soon, they were brought to the sect's main hall, where others in the same uniform as Elder Hu stood before them.
"They'll be here soon. Wait here," Elder Hu said.
Liam Yang looked at them and sent a voice transmission to Faye Lin, "Looks like they're not bad people!"
"Heaven's Guardian Hall isn't full of bad people. They're just trying to figure out what happened," Faye Lin agreed.
Liam Yang laughed, "Good, then. I didn't release the Demon Tiger anyway."
Just then, Young Master Shen and Madam Blaze appeared. Liam Yang was surprised, "You two made it out alive!"
Young Master Shen and Madam Blaze had already agreed in secret to frame Liam Yang today, no matter what. As soon as Young Master Shen arrived, he laughed, "How could we not? To escape my grasp, you released the Demon Tiger—how bold!"
Madam Blaze snorted, "That's right! So many died because of you."
"Hah. What if I told you the Demon Tiger wasn't released by me?" Liam Yang sneered, knowing they were trying to frame him.
"You were inside—if you didn't release it, who did?" Young Master Shen mocked.
"It escaped on its own. If you don't believe me, ask Miss Lin," Liam Yang laughed.
Faye Lin nodded, "That's right—it escaped on its own."
Young Master Shen laughed loudly, "Everyone, listen to how these two try to worm their way out!"
