After Noah Grimm left, I began to wait. My wait was long and drawn out; only when night fell and Rufina Howard rested would her interactions with Exile Town come to a halt.

As night descended, the vanished stars reappeared. The night sky here was especially clear, and the stars looked unusually large.

I lay comfortably beneath the gentle glow. The fragment above my head became much softer as night arrived, its brightness steadily fading.

A figure in the distance gradually approached. I sat up and watched intently.

"Ethan Zhang, is this the thing?"

I nodded, staring at the crescent-shaped fang. A surge of anger welled up inside me.

"Ethan Zhang, let me tell you, collecting that girl's memories can't wait. What are you planning to do..."

A murderous aura began to envelop the fang, making it creak and groan. The sounds from within the fang stopped, and the black layer on its surface gradually became glassy, revealing patches of white.

"What do you intend to do? Ethan Zhang, if I’m destroyed, everything you’ve done will be for nothing."

"Tell me, where is the Celestial Hound?"
