Chapter 893: Ignore Him

A furious roar thundered in Wagner's ears. In that instant, Wagner made up his mind—he sliced open his finger with the Broken Royal Greatsword, letting his blood activate the sword, then hurled it fiercely toward the Abyssal Gate.

In a flash, a terrifying supernatural aura erupted from the Broken Royal Greatsword. The once rusted blade now gleamed with dazzling brilliance; the rust vanished completely, and the bloodstains were absorbed into the sword. Instantly, the blade turned blood-red.

A strange and violent supernatural aura appeared. It was as if the broken part of the sword had regrown, and in that vague moment, Wagner seemed to see a mighty warrior wielding the blood-red longsword, slashing fiercely toward the Abyssal Gate.

Light flickered, and the scarlet aura swirling around the Abyssal Gate split like butter beneath a hot knife. A crackling thunderclap resounded, and the gate began to tremble violently.

A streak of blood-red light sliced across the Abyssal Gate. Ripples spread across its once-calm surface, and the gate shattered like a broken mirror, falling to pieces.

In that hazy moment, Wagner glimpsed the other side of the Abyssal Gate. A pair of eyes burning with fire suddenly turned to him, sweeping him with a cold, chilling gaze.

Boom...

The Abyssal Gate shattered...

Endless abyssal energy dispersed into smoke, and outside came the furious, unwilling roar of the Blood Demon.

With the Abyssal Gate shattered, the drop of Abyssal Demon's blood lost its master's will. Its power was fully unleashed, leaving only one outcome—dissipation.

In the distance, Leon watched as the Blood Demon suddenly exploded, instantly realizing that the Abyssal Gate had been destroyed. Yet the Blood Demon's final strike flattened the entire hill—who knew how many survived...

"Damn it, a Blood Avatar of an Archfiend—how could something this cursed show up here..."

Anderson stared at the distant scene in terror, completely petrified.

An Archfiend of the Abyss possesses power beyond the Sky Rank; each controls at least one layer of the Abyss, and the strongest can command several layers!

For a being of that caliber to leave behind a Blood Avatar here...

Even Leon felt a lingering fear. He'd known the Black Iron Orcs' abyssal demon ancestor was still alive—he'd figured it out when he saw that blessing—but he hadn't expected the Archfiend to be so ruthless, creating a Blood Avatar with a trace of supernatural power.

Back then, while everyone was pondering how to attack Radiance Fortress, Wagner jumped in himself—which was perfect, letting everyone cooperate.

The agreement was set entirely by the George Family's terms; whatever demands they made, Leon accepted. This time, too, it was their request—no one forced them.

Still, Wagner managed to deal with that Blood Avatar so quickly. Leon was a bit surprised—Wagner was only an eighth-rank Title Archmage, and even with the George Family's help, they shouldn't have been able to finish the fight so fast.

After a moment's thought, Leon could only marvel at the deep foundations of the Odin Kingdom's power. That Blood Avatar had just appeared, and he sensed another trace of supernatural force—their magical weapons were truly endless...

But the George Family—is it really that George Family?

Leon frowned, deep in thought, feeling as if he'd forgotten something.

Elsewhere, Wagner crawled out of the crater, looking utterly disheveled, then burst out laughing where he stood.

Damn it, so what if it's an Archfiend or a Blood Avatar? I still took it down. That bastard should've stayed in the Abyss instead of meddling here.

By destroying that Blood Avatar, the barrier at Radiance Fortress should disappear too. With this, I've already claimed at least thirty percent of the credit for attacking the fortress. Next, I'll break through Radiance Fortress in one go, send those damned Black Iron Orcs to meet their ancestors, and my points will be more than ninety percent of the total for Radiance Fortress.

Damn, who would've thought the Black Iron Orcs were hiding so deep, with a trump card like this? No wonder even the Blazeforge Orc royal family never pushed them too hard.

If I'd known, I wouldn't have let those Andalusian bumpkins wander so far. If they'd stayed, I wouldn't have had to work so hard—let them stall the Blood Demon, I'd destroy the Abyssal Gate, and nearly all the points would be mine.

But it doesn't matter now—the biggest problem is solved. Without protection, those damned Black Iron Orcs won't be able to hide in Radiance Fortress any longer.

Radiance Fortress is so tough, the points will probably be way more than anyone expected. Good thing I picked this place.

Wagner flew up from the bottom of the crater and shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Lord Daug, gather the men! We're attacking Radiance Fortress right now—don't give those damned Black Iron Orcs time to prepare..."

But before he could finish, Wagner choked back his words, staring blankly at the scene before him.

The hill that had exploded was gone, and the land within a thousand meters looked as if it had been shaved away. The ground was covered in craters and meteor scars, everything scorched black by flames.

And now, there were only corpses—broken bodies everywhere. Looking around, only two or three people were still standing; the rest, not a single living soul could be found...

Wagner's vision went dark, a wave of blackness nearly knocking him out. The George Family's main force, the mage legion, the swordsman legion, even the sharpshooters—everyone was dead...

"How could this happen... How could this happen... Damn it, wasn't the Abyssal Gate destroyed? The Blood Demon too—how did it end up like this..."

"Lord Daug! Lord Daug! You damned bastard, get out here—how did you command..."

Wagner roared, while the two surviving subordinates approached, trembling.

"Young Master Wagner, Lord Daug has already fallen..."
