Blood Demon Ancestral Land

2/14/2026

Evan Chu and Shadow rampaged in all directions, quickly closing in on the Blood Demon Clan’s main encampment. Along the way, they swept through the battlefield as if they were unstoppable forces of nature—any Blood Demon clansman with the power to fight was cut down without mercy, their blood painting the ground.

He knew that the greater the chaos he unleashed here, the more enemy reinforcements he would attract—and the longer Lord Jun Yang could prepare his counterattack. Besides, if Evan turned this place upside down, those hunting Violet Thunder would have no choice but to rush back and help. The more mayhem, the better.

Let them take the fall as expendable pawns. The mastermind backing them from the shadows must have poured in plenty of resources, but what could possibly be more important than their core base? So, apart from a handful of weak women and children, Evan Chu wasn’t about to spare a single Blood Demon clansman with the strength to fight. This was a blood debt, and he would collect it to the last drop.

The three sect bases weren’t far from the Blood Demon Clan’s garrison cities. Evan Chu split into nine elemental avatars, sending each clone streaking toward a sect base with ruthless precision. He was certain that most of the top experts from the Blazefire Sect, Northstar Sect, and Southern Star Sect had already left—at best, only a few hundred Saints remained to defend, trembling in their boots.

For Evan Chu, wiping out these defenders was as easy as plucking stars from the sky.

After he and Shadow finished razing three Blood Demon cities, the hunting parties chasing the Blazing Flame Legion’s vanguard and Violet Thunder finally received transmissions through their starstones: the Blood Demon Clan’s ancestral land was under siege by a powerhouse, and the three sect bases had been utterly devastated—turned into wastelands overnight.

Just as Evan Chu had predicted, the Blood Demon Clan and the three sects immediately dispatched their strongest experts to reinforce their bases. Among them were thirteen late-stage peak Saint Lords—every one a walking calamity.

Inside the Blazefire Sect’s central hall, corpses of a dozen Saint disciples lay strewn about, blood pooling between shattered pillars. In the rear of the hall, a single lucky survivor frantically clutched his starstone, begging the sect elders for help.

“Quick! Head to the secret realm in the rear mountain valley and awaken the old sect master—bring him out of seclusion, now!”

Meanwhile, at Southern Star Sect and Northstar Sect, disciples were also racing to their forbidden grounds or secret realms, desperate to awaken their sects’ final trump cards—their Supreme Elders, the last hope before annihilation.

Suddenly, three overwhelming auras erupted across the sect bases—their presence so suffocating that Evan Chu’s elemental avatars immediately felt the crushing pressure of death. Three Saint Venerable experts had awakened at once, their power blanketing the land like a storm.

“Retreat!”

The Nine Elements avatars didn’t hesitate for a second. Their power, formidable as it was, could still clash with Saint Lords and even seize a chance to kill—but against Saint Venerables, all they could do was dodge the oncoming blades and flee.

Evan’s avatars raced back at lightning speed, heading straight for the Blood Demon Clan’s ruined city. But those three newly awakened Saint Venerables were relentless—there was no way they’d let this slide!

The havoc Evan Chu wrought upon the three sect bases was nothing short of annihilation. Not only did he slaughter their most gifted disciples, but he also shattered their vital stellar-vein meridians—without those, the sects’ foundations were crippled, unable to absorb even a shred of stellar power.

As if that wasn’t enough, Evan’s avatars smashed open the sects’ treasure vaults. Most of the loot was just mid-grade Starstones, but he swept every last one clean—didn’t leave a single pebble behind. To add insult to injury, even their so-called treasured robes and armors, which couldn’t hold a candle to Evan’s protective astral qi, were blasted to smithereens.

In short, thousands of years of sect accumulation vanished in an instant—Evan Chu’s policy was simple: kill all, rob all, destroy all. Not a single hair was left behind!

His fire element avatar set the Blazefire Sect’s base ablaze, showing them the meaning of true, unstoppable fire. The thunder avatar unleashed a lightning storm over Southern Star Sect, smashing buildings for miles—there wasn’t even a place left to shelter from the rain.

Meanwhile, the water and wind avatars combined their power against Northstar Sect, unleashing floods and tempests that swept away everything—even the food stores weren’t spared!

“You bastard! I swear I’ll kill you, even if it costs me my life!”

“You destroyed my sect’s thousand-year foundation—today you die!”

“You slaughtered thousands of my sect’s disciples—I’ll make you pay with your life!”

The three Saint Venerable experts shot forward from three directions, hot on the heels of Evan Chu’s fleeing avatars, all converging on the Blood Demon Clan’s city.

Meanwhile, Evan Chu and Shadow had just finished their bloody rampage, razing the last Blood Demon city to the ground. But as the dust settled, a flicker of doubt crept into Evan’s heart.

“The three sects may be weak, but each has a Guardian Ancestor. The Blood Demon Clan shouldn’t be any weaker—where is their ancestor?” Evan wondered aloud, his eyes scanning the ruins.

Of course, Evan knew that three Saint Venerable ancestors were already chasing him down. That was no accident—it was all part of his plan.

This was the moment he’d orchestrated—a life-or-death pressure trial, the perfect opportunity to shatter his bottleneck. Standing at the peak of late-stage Saint, Evan’s strength was still bound by the realm barrier. Now, he craved a breakthrough, a leap into the Saint Lord Realm.

There was no other way. Evan knew he didn’t have the luxury of time for slow cultivation or careful comprehension. So he came up with a mad plan: lure four Saint Venerables, provoke a joint assault, and force himself to break through at any cost!

No matter the price, Evan Chu had to take this step into the Saint Lord Realm!

But right now, only three Saint Venerable experts were about to catch up—where was the fourth?

“Three opponents aren’t enough to force me to go all out. The Blood Demon Clan should have a Guardian Ancestor too.”

Evan Chu strolled above the ruined city, searching for any sign of the Blood Demon Clan’s forbidden ground or secret realm. He circled several times, but found nothing—not a single clue.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, three dazzling streaks of light shot across the distant sky—the wind, water, and darkness element avatars had returned. Hot on their heels was a white-bearded elder, his fury shaking the heavens.

“So you’ve arrived? In that case, let’s fight.”

Buzz—buzz—buzz! The Ancient Dragon Saber trembled in Evan Chu’s grip, overflowing with battle intent as its aura surged like a dragon eager for war.

Moments later, six more elemental avatars converged from other directions, just as the three sects’ Saint Venerable experts arrived in full force.

“You two? You’re also hunting him…”

“He destroyed my sect’s thousand-year foundation!”

“He slaughtered countless geniuses of my sect!”

The three old men exchanged glances, instantly realizing that all this devastation was the handiwork of the young upstart before them—Evan Chu.

“Hmph! Who would have thought a mere Saint ant had such means? I underestimated you. But since you did all this, you must die!”

“Only blood can quell our wrath.”

Evan Chu gazed at the trio, his expression tinged with disappointment. “If it’s just you three, the pressure might still fall short… But there’s no other way—I’ll have to give it a try.”

“You’d better attack together and with all your might—otherwise, you may never get another chance. From the moment you plotted with your sects to scheme against the Blazefire Legion, your defeat was sealed. Sorry, I just accelerated everything. I hope you won’t blame me.”

With a flourish, Evan Chu spun the Ancient Dragon Saber in his hand and smiled, ready to face the coming storm.
