No Useless Cowards

Evan Lin spoke coldly, his gaze sweeping across the faces of Hawkeye and his group.

Hearing this, Hawkeye's face changed. He took a deep breath, looked at Evan Lin with a complicated expression, snorted, and finally left with the female soldiers, bringing Firehawk and Woodhawk along.

"Master, you're just letting them go like that?" Blade stepped forward, looking slightly hesitant.

The best outcome just now would have been for Evan Lin to take action and seriously injure even Hawkeye, the Flying Eagle Company's top fighter. With Flying Eagle losing three of its main combatants in a row, Knife-Edge Company would finally have a chance to win in the next team drill and solo contest.

Evan Lin glanced at Blade and said flatly, "I have no interest in who wins or loses. But they're still soldiers of the nation—if I really crippled or killed them, it would just make us a laughingstock to outsiders."

"Besides, Hawkeye's strength is nothing special. In seven days, Knife-Edge Company will have someone who can stand shoulder to shoulder with him."

With just a few words, Evan Lin left Blade speechless, forcing him to step aside.

Whether it's Flying Eagle Company or Knife-Edge Company, they're all soldiers of the nation, trained to defend the country. Even if they're on different sides now, once they're on the battlefield, their guns and bayonets will always point outward, united against the enemy.

There's no doubt about that.

Even before his rebirth, Evan Lin had always felt a deep admiration for soldiers. What hot-blooded young man hasn't dreamed of being a hero who saves the world?
