Not Leaving a Single One

Lynne Nie stared at Evan Chu in shock, his words making her panic for a moment. If that was really the case, she’d be absolutely mortified.

"Selena, Suping, Serena, you all can come out now!" Evan Chu said, his face a mix of laughter and helplessness. Clearly, nothing was going to happen tonight.

Right then, Selena Yale and Ye Suping stepped out from behind the screen, both women blushing a little, feeling awkward in front of Lynne Nie. Serena Dream climbed out of bed, her cheeks also tinged red, but after glancing at the other three, she said nothing.

Lynne Nie said, "Wait… didn’t you all say you weren’t going to keep him company tonight? How come you’re all here?"

"I thought you guys wouldn’t show up. Evan looked so pitiful, so I came to check on him. Who knew that not long after, Selena would show up too, so I had to hide." Ye Suping said, a bit embarrassed.

"Haha, so I’m the last one! You girls move fast—were you all hoping for a solo moment? Turns out everyone was thinking the same thing. Our husband’s charm is really something, huh." Lynne Nie burst out laughing; at least being last meant she wasn’t the only one embarrassed.

"Alright, I get how you all feel. How about we just sleep together under one big blanket tonight?" Evan Chu joked.

"Keep dreaming! Who’d sleep with you under one blanket? We’re leaving in a bit! Happy now?" Selena said.

"Hey, I was just kidding! No need to take it so seriously. You’re all my women—sleeping with me is only natural!" Evan Chu grumbled.

Just then, the Violet Thunder Fox walked in, saw all four women there, and grinned. "Haha, I thought it was just Big Bro by himself. Didn’t expect everyone to be here. I brought some pastries—want to try them together?"

"Alex, what are you doing here at this hour? Don’t tell me you want to sleep with Evan too…" Ye Suping teased.

"Haha, you girls think too much. I just saw Big Bro’s lights were still on, so I came to check. Looks like you’re all in a bit of a pickle—so many of you, who’s actually going to keep Big Bro company tonight?" Alex Xiao dodged the question, grinning.

Talk about coincidence—just then, Claire Ouyang, who hadn’t spoken during the day, also walked in. She was surprised to see so many people inside. She really hadn’t spoken earlier because she wasn’t feeling well.

Evan Chu’s recovery had made her happy, but she’d been tossing and turning all night, unable to sleep. She’d gotten up to take a walk in the courtyard, only to see Evan’s room still lit and the door wide open—so she came to take a look, not knowing all the other women would be there too.

"Claire, did you come to keep your husband company too?" Evan Chu asked. Tonight was really something—if every night was like this, his happy days would be over. No way, he’d have to set up a schedule.

"I couldn’t sleep, so I got up for a walk. Saw your door wide open, so I thought I’d check in. I’m not feeling well tonight, or I’d have come earlier to keep you company." Claire Ouyang replied.

"Alex, just leave the pastries on the table. Big Bro needs to discuss some things with your sisters-in-law. If you’ve got anything to say, save it for tomorrow." Evan Chu said.

Alex Xiao glanced at Evan and the women, then laughed. "Alright, take your time with your sister-wives. Alex is out!"

After Alex left, Evan Chu said, "From now on, you’ll all take turns keeping me company. First is Suping, second is Selena, third is Serena, fourth is Lynne, fifth is Claire. I don’t want to hear any objections."

The women exchanged glances. Ye Suping said, "Evan, your physique is so strong, I’m afraid none of us can handle you alone. Maybe we should go in pairs!"

Evan Chu’s face lit up. "Really? Even better! Suping and Selena can stay together, Serena and the other three can team up—done deal! Otherwise, I’ll be mad."

The women all looked helpless but didn’t dare argue. After all, they were truly his now, so some things just had to be accepted.

"Tonight it’s just Suping and Selena. The rest of you can go back and keep me company tomorrow night! Hahahaha!" Evan Chu laughed triumphantly.

Claire and the other three women glared at Evan, then turned and left. Evan grinned, "Finally settled! Wives, let’s get started!"

"Evan, I’ll go check on the baby first. I’ll be back soon—I’m worried the little one’s hungry." Suping said.

"Go ahead, but come back as soon as you’ve fed the baby—don’t keep me waiting." Evan Chu said.

After Suping left, only Selena was left. "Selena, you’re always the most understanding. You’ve really put up with a lot these years—tonight, I’ll make it up to you!"

"Evan, my heart feels unsettled. Maybe the baby’s hungry too—let me check on her first, then I’ll come back, okay?" Selena said.

Evan Chu was dumbfounded. The baby came first—he could only grit his teeth and let her go. "Alright, go ahead. I’ll wait for you!"

Selena left too, leaving Evan Chu alone in the room. "They all came, and then they all left. Why couldn’t Serena and Lynne stay with me? Having too many women is a pain… sigh."

Even by dawn, Suping and Selena hadn’t come back. Evan Chu spent the whole night bored and alone. Looks like next time he’d really have to show them who’s boss, or life was going to get tough.

The next morning, Evan Chu got up early and wandered over to the training field. The sect’s disciples were all hard at work—some sparring, some practicing martial arts, others absorbing Stellar Power. Seeing this made Evan feel proud.

"Evan, why are you up so early? Where are Suping and Selena?" Claire Ouyang walked over and asked.

"They’re probably still sleeping. You need something from them?" Evan Chu replied.

"No, I just thought it was weird seeing you up so early. Usually you don’t stop for half a day. I’ve got things to do, so I won’t keep you company." Claire said, then turned and left.

Evan Chu watched Claire’s back as she walked away and sighed. "Half a day? I don’t even get one minute! Since you girls dare treat me like this, let’s see who can hold out the longest. After the wedding feast, I’m going straight into seclusion—let’s see who wins!"

With his mind made up, Evan Chu went to find Joan He to ask about the wedding feast. Meanwhile, in Selena Yale’s room, five women were gathered, chatting and laughing.

Finally, Suping said, "It’s settled—Evan wants us all to sleep together? Fine, let’s grant his wish and see if he still dares add more sisters next time!"

The five women plotted how to handle Evan Chu, not knowing he was making plans to handle them too…

That night, it was supposed to be Serena and two others keeping Evan company, but he waited a long time and nobody showed up. He knew they’d all agreed to skip out, but he wasn’t bothered. He thought to himself:

"So you all teamed up to ditch me, huh? Let’s see what you’re up to!" With a flash, Evan Chu slipped underground and headed toward Serena Dream’s room—the closest one.

At that moment, Serena was alone in her room, sitting quietly on the bed, looking a bit down. She muttered to herself, "Evan, what are you doing right now? Are you waiting for us? Heh, you can just keep waiting. Want all of us to serve you together? Dream on."

Hearing this from underground, Evan Chu could only smile bitterly to himself. "So you really think I’m that kind of guy? They must have planned this together. Just wait till I get my hands on you."

After a while, Serena muttered again, "Will Evan get mad? Are we being too mean?"

"So you do care about me. Looks like you’re not totally on their side. Tonight, I’ll start with you!" Evan Chu thought to himself, grinning mischievously.

The next day, Evan Chu arrived at the main hall. All the sect’s key figures were present. Evan asked, "Tomorrow is the wedding feast. How are preparations going? Have all the guests been notified?"

"Don’t worry, Sect Master, everyone’s been notified. They should be on their way now—some might arrive this afternoon. Frostbane Sect’s going to be lively again!" Joan He replied respectfully.

"Good! The Grand Elder and Elder He can handle the guest reception. I’ll just meet with the sect leaders. This time, Frostbane Sect shouldn’t have any more surprises, right?" Evan Chu sighed deeply.

By afternoon, guests from several major sects arrived one after another. Evan Chu didn’t invite the four sects that had formed an alliance—he remembered how they’d teamed up against Frostbane Sect, and he’d definitely repay that grudge, just not yet.

Meanwhile, in a secret chamber of Frostbane Sect, Evan Chu was meeting with the Bloodfiend Hall Master, Sacred Sword Sect Master, and Freewind Palace Master. It was the first time in a year that the four sects’ leaders had gathered to discuss the current situation in the Azure Tide Ruins.

Evan didn’t hold a grudge against the Freewind Palace Master—mostly because of Serena Dream. Some misunderstandings had passed, and Evan could understand a father’s love for his child.

"I’ve been in seclusion for over a year. What kind of damage did that Red-Robe Youth do to your sects? Everyone recovered by now, right?" Evan Chu asked first.

"That Red-Robe Youth was terrifying. I couldn’t even last a single move. To protect my disciples, I had to accept his conditions. Just thinking about it makes me feel humiliated. But he vanished soon after, which was odd. Once I recovered, I found all his men had left Sacred Sword Sect, and things have been peaceful ever since." the Sacred Sword Sect Master said.

"My situation was similar. Later, Lynne came back and told me that the Red-Robe Youth also challenged Frostbane Sect. After you fought him, both of you disappeared. I figured you two must’ve both been seriously injured. Then I heard you returned to Frostbane Sect, but the Red-Robe Youth never showed up again—so I guess you must’ve killed him." the Bloodfiend Hall Master said.

"You two had it easier. My Freewind Palace suffered the most—over a thousand dead and wounded, even my master was gravely injured. In the end, we could only pretend to submit to his tyranny. Evan, do you know who that Red-Robe Youth really is? What’s the situation now? If he shows up again, I doubt any sect could withstand him." the Freewind Palace Master said, still shaken.
