Unscathed

Lucy Bai glanced over at Evan Lin, her gaze tinged with a chill.

"Grandmaster You's arts are nothing like anything you've seen before."

"If you don't admit defeat, you might not make it out alive."

Lucy Bai spoke in a low, serious voice.

Right now, Grandmaster You's whole body was flickering unpredictably; the further he went, the trickier the angles he appeared beside Evan Lin.

The Reaper Dagger in Grandmaster You's hand stabbed out from positions that were always unexpected.

But Evan Lin's reaction speed was honestly beyond everyone's expectations.

More than once, it looked like Evan Lin was about to get skewered by Grandmaster You, but somehow he always managed to dodge just in time.

"Fire's not working—maybe try water?"

Evan Lin waved one hand, and a curtain of water appeared out of thin air.

On the curtain of water, water-dragons opened their jaws, charging straight at Grandmaster You.

At a glance, it looked like a whole pack of dragons roaring.

Bang!

Several water-dragons crashed straight into Grandmaster You.

But Grandmaster You, as usual, turned to smoke and vanished, only to reappear on Evan Lin's other side, swinging the Reaper Dagger with a flick of his wrist.

Wherever the Reaper Dagger passed, it touched a few water-dragons and instantly turned them into smoke, erasing them completely.

"I told you already—your tricks are useless against me."

Grandmaster You said coldly, "Right now, you're already in the palm of my hand."

"I don't believe you can dodge one stab—let alone thousands upon thousands!"

Grandmaster You sneered, then rushed at Evan Lin again at lightning speed.

Evan Lin twisted aside and threw a sideways kick, qi swirling everywhere—but he still hit nothing but air.

"Grandmaster You's techniques are getting sharper and sharper."

The elder watched anxiously, seeing Master Lin from Seacrest locked in absolute disadvantage, with no way to fight back. He was so restless he could barely sit still.

But he had absolutely no way to intervene.

With his level of strength, he didn't even dare try to interfere.

"If this keeps up, Master Lin from Seacrest is definitely going to lose!"

"Ancestor, why isn't the Ancestor coming out yet?"

The elder looked toward the giant bronze coffin, face full of anxiety.

But the giant bronze coffin just stood there, completely still.

"Your spell arts are interesting, but if that's all you've got, then this ends here."

Evan Lin shifted back, one hand behind his back, weaving and dodging under Grandmaster You's relentless assault.

From start to finish, he stayed perfectly calm.

Even when Grandmaster You's dagger pierced through fire and water, Evan didn't show a hint of surprise or fear.

"Talk's cheap. If you're really that tough, go ahead and try to hurt me!"

Grandmaster You just sneered, his movements growing even faster.

This time, boosted by his spell arts, the Reaper Dagger split into five, each one glowing with a dark, silent light, stabbing at Evan Lin from five different angles.

"As you wish."

Everyone heard the youth's quiet, almost casual voice.

Then, right as the boy seemed to be getting pushed back step by step, he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

He stood perfectly still and reached out his hand.
