Heaven-Defying Kowtow Technique

"Damn, are these people even human or ghosts? How do they walk without making a single sound?!"

"Look at their faces—there's not a drop of color. Are we surrounded by ghosts in broad daylight?"

"Oh my god, I'm screwed! I haven't even gotten married yet!"

"I'm even worse off—I just got married, and before I could even spend the wedding night, I got dragged here! Boo hoo!"

...

As soon as they saw themselves surrounded, the four newly selected martial artists immediately started screaming in terror, like their souls had been scared right out of them.

"You useless idiots, you're making Harbor City look bad! Quit bawling already!" Jason Lin, the street thug boss, exploded beside them, cursing out loud. He hated being surrounded—he was always the one ambushing others with his Axe Club, not the other way around.

Suddenly, he whipped out two pistols and yelled, "All of you, get out of the way! These guns aren’t just for show!"

Of course, Jason Lin didn’t actually intend to fire—he just wanted to scare them.

But these creepy villagers didn’t budge an inch. They just stared at them wickedly, like they were watching a bunch of toys.

"Hey, Jason, maybe these villagers have never even seen a gun before. Look at them, totally clueless!"

"Could be. Maybe they've just never witnessed gun power in action!"

Jason was already sweating bullets. Without thinking, he fired a shot into the air: "Back off! We're not here to cause trouble. If you keep crowding us, don't blame me for pulling the trigger!"

But even after the gunshot, the villagers didn’t move a muscle. Their creepy smirks just got a little more contemptuous.

"Damn it, looks like I’ll have to go full psycho..." Jason muttered, getting desperate.

Ryan Ling quickly stepped in. "Chill, Jason. Let me try talking to them first."

This Little Hades place was no ordinary village—wild, lawless, basically its own kingdom. Even the local counties couldn’t do squat about them. If you go in swinging, you might just make things worse.

"Folks, we're just a Harbor City survey team, here to check out the geology. No disrespect meant to your village—please don’t misunderstand..." Ryan improvised a cover story, but before he could finish, one villager moved like lightning and snatched Jason’s pistol right out of his hand.

The speed was unreal—totally freakish!

"Western gun, huh?" The villager sneered, pointed the barrel at his own head, and—bam!—pulled the trigger.
