"That, I don't know." Captain Lee shook his head.
"Then it's none of your business. I'll leave now. If he comes to find me again, it'll be the same—I won't ask for more." Seeing that Captain Lee didn't know either, General Ba left the city and departed alone.
But he kept thinking about Evan Yang. "That kid's magic mud—could he have more? And why did the Nether Patriarch lose a hundred lives for no reason? Does that kid really have so many things the Nether Family covets?"
The Nether Patriarch never expected General Ba to connect the magic mud incident with Evan Yang's conflict with the Nether Family.
This connection made General Ba's heart surge with greed. "If that kid still has magic mud, I'll make a fortune." A fist-sized Fiend Star Source is only worth about ten million, but magic mud can fetch ninety million—much more profitable.
So as soon as greed arose in General Ba's heart, he immediately headed for Evan Yang's location. Meanwhile, the Nether Patriarch also received Captain Lee's message and got Evan's exact whereabouts.
What started as an issue between Derek and the Nether Patriarch now involved Evan Yang, all because of General Ba's misunderstanding.
Things got even more complicated. Meanwhile, Evan Yang was carrying his Spirit Crystal Ore, planning to visit a Fiend Realm city to see what he could buy—so he went on a shopping spree.
Once he'd bought almost everything he needed and was about to leave, he ran into the Nether Patriarch, who was already waiting outside the city in the void.
"You again? How do you always know where I am?" Evan Yang complained as soon as he saw the Nether Patriarch. He'd thrown away all his Pass Tokens, so how was the patriarch still able to track him?
"Kid, let's see how you escape this time." The Nether Patriarch snorted coldly.
"What trick do you have now?" Evan Yang looked around and spotted someone hidden nearby, fully armored, assuming he was the Nether Patriarch's helper.
"What trick? Naturally, a way to make you disappear from the Fiend Realm." The Nether Patriarch snorted coldly.
Evan Yang heard the Nether Patriarch's words but didn't respond immediately. Instead, he flashed toward the armored man.
"Trying to escape!" The Nether Patriarch, thinking Evan Yang was fleeing, quickly stepped onto his flying device.
As Evan Yang reached the armored man's side, the Nether Patriarch also stopped.
"Is this your helper?" Evan Yang sized up the armored man curiously.
The Nether Patriarch was about to unleash the False Mountain on Evan Yang, but when he saw the armored man, he was shocked. "General Ba!"
"Nether Patriarch, how are you? So, did you find him?" Originally planning to let the two fight and see who survived, General Ba was caught off guard by Evan Yang approaching him, but answered smoothly.
The Nether Patriarch looked at General Ba suspiciously and replied, "Found him. Thank you, General Ba."
"I want to see which Human World cultivator dares to cause trouble in our Fiend Realm!" As soon as he heard this, the armored man turned his attention to Evan Yang, putting on a stern act.
"Then let's join forces." The Nether Patriarch had originally intended to use the False Mountain, but with General Ba showing up, he changed his mind.
"So you two are working together." Evan Yang snorted coldly after hearing them speak in turn.
The armored man replied, "Go!"
With that, the two joined forces to take on Evan Yang.
But the armored man's cultivation was on par with the Nether Patriarch's, and neither could match Evan Yang's speed. If Evan wanted to leave, they could only chase him using their flying devices.
"Kid, you've really got some skills!" the armored man shouted.
The Nether Patriarch also went all out, trying to work with the armored man to bring Evan Yang down. But Evan's speed was so fast they couldn't keep up. Even so, when Evan attacked, the Nether Patriarch's strange black qi weakened his strikes, and the armored man's armor was equally bizarre—half the force of Evan's blows seemed to vanish on impact.
So even when Evan Yang managed to hit them, the two only suffered minor injuries—nothing serious.
And so, the two kept besieging Evan Yang. Seeing that neither could subdue him, the Nether Patriarch worried Evan might suddenly escape. He took out the False Mountain, threw it toward Evan, and began chanting something under his breath.
