Reviving Star King

1/18/2026

The arrays on the Sacred Mountain were overwhelmingly powerful—there was no way King Tuer and his crew could possibly break through them.

Along the way, Ian Song harvested plenty of Origin Source Power.

He wasn’t stingy about it either, handing some out directly to the other three for their cultivation.

Silverwing God-King sighed, “Little bro, if I’d met you ten thousand years earlier, I’d probably be a God-King already!”

“Ten thousand years ago, I hadn’t even been born yet!”

Ian rolled his eyes. From the mortal world to the Immortal Realm, then to the God Realm, he hadn’t even cultivated for a full ten thousand years.

In the blink of an eye—

Ten years flew by.

During these ten years, Ian piloted the Sacred Mountain all across this universe, gathering vast amounts of Origin Source Power.

With everyone consuming Origin Source Power in bulk, Redmoon God-King, Silverwing God-King, and Snowsun God-King all broke through to upper God-King rank. Even Mira Skylar, whose cultivation had regressed to mid-tier God, managed to recover to Upper Heavenly God.

Since she’d cultivated almost exclusively with Origin Source Power, her current Upper Heavenly God strength was at least a thousand times greater than before—her law-powered divine strength was overflowing.

Unfortunately, after all these years, her body still hadn’t grown any taller—she was still stuck in loli form.

As for Ian, he’d researched hundreds of arrays using the Creation Heaven Diagram, but still hadn’t figured out a formation to restore Mira Skylar’s adult body.

Ian himself, including his main body and several avatars, had cultivated up to the late peak of Mid Heavenly God—just one step away from tribulation.

As for King Tuer and the others—

They’d become Ian’s lab rats, tossed into arrays again and again over the past decade, suffering endlessly.

Especially when testing a Yin-Yang Inversion Divine Array—King Tuer was turned directly into a woman.

At the same time, Ian deliberately suppressed their cultivation down to Upper Heavenly God.

Then he enslaved them with his Puppet Mastery Divine Art.

That way, he didn’t have to worry about them leaking any secrets.

Because Ian had absorbed so much Origin Source Power, the collapse of this world sped up—a black hole could be seen almost anywhere now.

This world was no longer safe; it could fall apart at any time. It was time to leave.

But Snowsun God-King looked conflicted.

“Uncle Skylar, are you worried about Demon Island’s master?”

Ian asked.

“He’s done me a great favor.”

Snowsun God-King nodded.

Over these ten years, the group had deliberately searched for Demon Island’s master, but unfortunately, there’d been no trace of him.

“Let’s go. We can’t stay here any longer!”

Snowsun God-King waved them onward.

A few months later—

The group returned to the altar in that mountain valley and used it to travel back to the abyss beneath the Netherworld Forbidden Land in the God Realm.

They exited the Netherworld Forbidden Land.

It was time for everyone to say their goodbyes.

“Ian, I need to talk to you!”

The little loli looked at Ian and spoke.

“What is it?”

The two of them walked off to the side.

The little loli cast a barrier, enveloping the two of them.

“Are you deliberately refusing to restore my body?” The little loli stared at Ian with a wounded look.

“Of course not!” Ian shook his head. “Honestly, you’re pretty cute as you are!”

“Hmph!”

The little loli snorted coldly—she didn’t like Ian calling her cute.

Don’t worry, I’ll figure out a formation to restore your body sooner or later!

Ian promised.

“Liar! You’re such a liar!” the little loli suddenly burst out angrily.

“Alright, don’t be mad. If you keep frowning, you won’t be cute anymore!” Ian said, patting her on the head.

“Jerk! You called me cute again—I’ll bite you!”

As she spoke, the little loli lunged at Ian, grabbed his hand, and brought it to her mouth.

Ian didn’t dodge, letting her vent as she pleased.

But as she kept biting, the little loli started to cry—cold tears fell straight onto the back of his hand.

“What’s this about? You’re the one biting me, not the other way around!”

Ian said helplessly.

“Jerk, I hate you!”

The little loli let go of Ian’s hand, but then dove straight into his arms. “Ian, I can’t bear to part from you!”

“It’s not like we’ll never see each other again. If you miss me, just come find me in Brighthelm Holy City!” Ian said.

“Can’t you come visit me on Demon Island?”

“Alright! Alright, I’ll come over when I have time!”

Ian nodded quickly.

“No lying!”

“I won’t!”

“If you dare lie to me, I’ll bite you to death!”

“Alright, alright, I get it!”

Finally, the little loli broke into a smile through her tears.

When Ian and Mira Skylar emerged from the barrier, Redmoon God-King’s eyes held a teasing glint.

After their farewells, Snowsun God-King left with Mira Skylar.

“Little bro, you really are something... I think Mira Skylar’s fallen for you!” Redmoon God-King teased.

“Sis, you’re overthinking it—she’s just a little girl right now!” Ian replied, unconcerned.

“Is that so?”

Redmoon God-King’s tone grew even more teasing.

“Sis, you’re not jealous, are you?”

“You’re asking for it!”

Redmoon God-King glared and made to grab Ian, who immediately dashed away.

Watching these two flirt so shamelessly, Silverwing God-King couldn’t help but twitch. After spending ten years together, if he still couldn’t see the relationship between Ian and Redmoon, he’d have to be blind.

When the pair returned—

Silverwing God-King’s face turned serious. “Tianyao, little bro, I’m planning to travel around the God Realm for a while, so...”

Ian wasn’t surprised at all.

Silverwing God-King had already reached upper God-King rank—it was time for him to travel the God Realm and broaden his horizons. It’d help his cultivation, too.

Before he left, Ian stuffed a thousand drops of Origin Source Power into his hands.

“Farewell!”

Silverwing God-King cupped his fists to the pair, then vanished with a flicker.

“What about you, Sis? Any plans?” Ian asked, looking at Redmoon God-King.

“My cultivation’s advanced too quickly—I lack true insight into the Dao. So, I plan to travel around too!”

Redmoon God-King replied.

Hearing this, Ian couldn’t help but look disappointed. He’d known Redmoon God-King would probably leave as well, but now that the moment had come, he still felt a pang of loss.

“Silly boy!”

Redmoon God-King pulled Ian into her arms and whispered, “I promise you, I’ll be back to find you in no more than a hundred years!”

“Sis!”

Ian called out softly, feeling Redmoon God-King’s deep affection for him.

“Kiss me!”

Redmoon God-King closed her eyes.

Naturally, Ian didn’t hold back—he leaned in and captured her cherry lips, savoring the moment…

A few days later—

Brighthelm Holy City.

After returning, Ian threw himself into missions like mad. In less than a few months, he’d advanced to Six-Star Godfiend.

After leveling up, he returned to Yushan Manor.

Even though he’d left behind two avatars, his wife, parents, and even his masters were all delighted to see him return.

There was more news: his other master, Jun Jiutian, Master Huang Qin, Uncle Xue Yangzi, Fang Tianyue, Jiang Jing, Wanxia, and his children from the Immortal Realm, Song Ze and others, had all ascended to the God Realm during his decade-long absence.

The reunion, naturally, was filled with emotion.

Ian was generous with them, handing out plenty of cultivation resources so everyone could settle down and train in the God Realm.

As for Origin Source Power, he didn’t distribute any—at least for now.

Even God Emperors would covet such a thing. If word got out, the consequences would be unimaginable.

He spent several months reuniting with his family.

Then it was time for Ian to face his tribulation again.

The tribulation went incredibly smoothly, and both Ian and his avatars advanced to Upper Heavenly God.

After the breakthrough, he stayed at Yushan Manor for a few more months before heading back to Brighthelm Holy City to take on new missions, aiming for Seven-Star Godfiend.

Two years later—

Ian successfully advanced to Seven-Star Godfiend.

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, you’ve completed the Seven-Star Godfiend advancement mission. You’ve earned one Grand Lottery spin!”

“Heh.”

Hearing the system’s reward, Ian just smiled. A single Grand Lottery spin only cost ten thousand Slaughter Points, and killing an Upper Heavenly God could earn him a hundred thousand.

So, this mission reward wasn’t really a big deal to him.

He called up the system interface and saw his Slaughter Points were close to ten million.

He could do nearly a thousand Grand Lottery spins.

“Let’s test my luck!”

He opened the lottery interface and started spinning.

As ten thousand Slaughter Points disappeared, the lottery pointer began to spin.

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, you’ve obtained a Resurrection Divine Talisman!”

Taking the Resurrection Divine Talisman, Ian sensed its power: with a drop of blood and a fragment of soul, it could bring someone back to life—usable up to the God Emperor level.

“Good, very good!”

Ian was quite pleased.

So, he spun the Grand Lottery three more times.

The first time, he won a God-King artifact.

The second time, he got a God-King puppet.

The third time, he drew a damaged God Emperor artifact.

Not bad at all!

All four Grand Lottery spins today left Ian quite satisfied.

Closing the system interface, Ian used the teleportation array in Brighthelm Holy City to warp to a strange new city.

He flew out of the city and set up a barrier in a remote spot.

“Star God-King, come out—I have something important to discuss!”

A moment later, Star God-King appeared.

“I have a Resurrection Divine Talisman—it can bring you back to life,” Ian said.

Hearing he could be revived, Star God-King was visibly excited.

“What’s your condition?”

Star God-King quickly calmed down and looked at Ian, asking.

“No conditions. Once I revive you, our grudges are settled. You can take the temple with you, too,” Ian replied.

Star God-King looked a bit ashamed, but nodded. “Alright, our grudges are settled.”

Ian smiled, took out the Resurrection Divine Talisman, and activated it. The talisman turned into a golden light and entered Star God-King’s body…

A moment later—

Star God-King was successfully revived, regaining the cultivation he had before death—late-stage Mid God-King.

“Thank you!”

After a brief moment of joy, Star God-King bowed deeply to Ian.

“It’s nothing.”

Ian waved his hand and helped Star God-King up. “You’ve helped me plenty on this journey. Though our grudges are cleared, when I reach the God-King level, if you want to deal with Lieshan God-King, I’ll lend you a hand.”

Star God-King was stunned, but then looked deeply moved. Suddenly, he spoke: “Ian, would you mind if I stayed by your side as a bodyguard?”
