"That's right. In this Immortal–Demon War, Selena is among the Demonic army, inside the main command tent. She's been possessed. Can you save her?" Evan said bluntly.
"That's a tough situation. People who get possessed usually suffer severe soul damage—some become idiots, some lose all their memories, some even die outright. Who possessed Selena? What exactly happened?" Gavin asked.
"Gavin Wei, you know Selena?" Nangong Ming looked at Gavin in surprise, as if they were quite familiar.
"Of course I know her! Back when I first met Boss, it was all because of Selena. We've been through thick and thin together—she's practically my sister-in-law. How could I not know her? Hurry up and tell me what happened. You're all killing me with suspense here!" Gavin said.
Evan took a deep breath and said, "Here's what happened: I used my invisibility technique to sneak into the Demonic army camp and saw that the Demonic commander looked exactly like Selena—voice, appearance, everything was identical."
Selena has only been in the Demonic Realm for less than a thousand years. No matter how fast she cultivates, she couldn't possibly reach god-man realm so soon. So I concluded she's been possessed by the Demonic Realm's super expert—the Yin–Yang Demon Empress. I have no idea where her soul is now, so I'm asking if you know any way to save her."
Gavin Wei fell silent for a moment before saying, "The Yin–Yang Demon Empress is a truly terrifying Demon Emperor from the Demonic Realm—someone from my own era. Why hasn't this guy ascended yet? What's going on here?"

"The Yin–Yang Demon Empress actually has two major obsessions: one is a love for women, and the other is a liking for men. Maybe you can make her take an interest in you and want to possess you instead. As long as he leaves Selena's body, that's your chance," Gavin said.
Evan frowned after hearing this. "Gavin, are you kidding me? You really came up with a plan like that? Fine, even if that's the method, the Yin–Yang Demon Empress isn't a normal soul—how would he leave Selena's body? Explain it to me."

The Emerald Immortal Empress almost wanted to ask, even if you get a Divine Soul Crystal, how will you get it to Selena if you're in the God Realm and she's in the Immortal Realm? But she knew it was pointless to raise this now, and didn't want to discourage Evan, so she kept silent.
