Let You Return to Twenty

1/11/2026

Every ordinary, beautiful actress dreams of marrying into a wealthy family.

Jenny Zheng made her dream come true—she successfully married into a rich family.

Back then, after her breakout role as Princess Yu’er in “Silly Princess,” countless rich heirs started chasing after her.

In the end, she picked Leon Lee—a handsome and wealthy second-generation—and married him, had a child, and quit acting to become a full-time rich wife.

For the first two years, Leon Lee was on his best behavior—he barely even went to nightclubs.

But as they say, there’s no such thing as a cat that doesn’t sneak around.

Starting in the third year, Leon Lee began hooking up with a young actress.

When Jenny found out, she cried and made a scene, even threatened divorce. In the end, Leon caved and dumped the young actress.

But less than half a year later, Leon was at it again—this time with a fresh-faced model.

They say once is forgivable, but twice is too much. This time, when Jenny threatened divorce again, Leon just brushed her off, saying, "Go ahead, divorce me if you want," and stood his ground.

This time, Jenny was the one who gave in.

Luckily, her mother-in-law still treated her well, so Jenny could only turn a blind eye to Leon’s cheating.

Just like that, more than ten years flew by. Last year, her mother-in-law passed away.

With no one to keep him in check, Leon Lee became even more brazen—he actually brought his mistress home and acted like Jenny didn’t even exist.

Jenny was completely disheartened, and finally decided to divorce Leon.

But only after the divorce did she realize that, after ten years as a full-time housewife, she was totally out of touch with society. With no other choice, she decided to return to acting and try to get back into the entertainment world.

Unfortunately, the Princess Yu’er who was once adored by millions had grown old. When she tried to make a comeback, she found it impossibly difficult.

After months of running around and cashing in old favors, she finally landed a ten-thousand-yuan endorsement for a third-rate mobile game.

Ten thousand wasn’t much, but she needed the money, so she agreed and even attended a fan event organized by the game company.

After the event, she made the news.

But most of those news stories were just mocking her. One headline even read, “This Old Woman Is Actually Princess Yu’er,” and the photo zoomed in on her wrinkles, making her look like she was fifty.

The game company was furious and even wanted to cancel her endorsement and make her return the money.

After divorcing Leon Lee, all Jenny had left was a single apartment. Nothing else.

After a few months, she had less than ten thousand yuan left. The mobile game endorsement gave her a glimmer of hope, but it disappeared as quickly as it came.

“Sigh, what am I supposed to do?”

Staring at her "aged" reflection in the mirror, Jenny Zheng was filled with despair.

"Forget it. I’ll just sell my apartment and move back to the countryside."

Just as she had the thought of selling her apartment, her phone rang.

It was her former agent, Cathy Xiao. After Jenny got married, they’d stopped working together, but when she tried to make a comeback after her divorce, she had nowhere else to turn and reached out to Cathy. Thankfully, Cathy still cared about their old friendship—she was the one who helped Jenny land the mobile game contract.

Seeing Cathy’s name pop up, Jenny thought she was calling about returning the endorsement money. So when she picked up, she said, “Cathy, tell the game company I’ll pay them back after I sell my apartment.”

“Jenny, what nonsense are you talking about? That’s not why I called.”

Jenny was stunned for a moment, then quickly said, “Sorry, Cathy, I misunderstood. But I’ve made up my mind—I’m selling my apartment and moving to the countryside. The world’s changed too much, and I just can’t keep up anymore!”

“What? You’re giving up just because of a little setback?”

“It’s not that I want to give up. It’s just that I’m old now, and after so many years away from the entertainment industry, who even remembers me?” Jenny said, her mood sinking.

“Silly Jenny, why are you so down on yourself? Go get dressed up and look pretty—there’s a big shot who wants to meet you. If you seize this chance, you might just get a second spring in your career!”

“Really, Cathy?” Jenny asked in disbelief.

“Of course it’s true! Why would I lie to you?”

“Thank you, Cathy! I really mean it—thank you so much.”

“Don’t thank me. This time, it’s that big shot who came looking for you!”

Jenny took a moment to calm her excitement, then asked curiously, “Cathy, can you tell me who this big shot is?”

“You’ve heard of Fourth Master Zhao, right?” Cathy said mysteriously.

“Cathy... You don’t mean the Fourth Master Zhao from the Zhao Family in Flame City, do you?” Jenny asked in disbelief.

Who else would it be if not him?

"It really is him!" Jenny was completely stunned. She never imagined someone as important as Fourth Master Zhao would want to meet her. Her ex-husband Leon Lee had some family ties to the top-tier Lee Family in Flame City, so she knew exactly what kind of power the Zhao Family held.

………

It took less than an hour for Song Yan’s request to Charles Zhao to arrange a meeting with Jenny Zheng to get results.

But Jenny was all the way in Flame City, so he decided to go there himself.

Three hours later, Song Yan met Jenny at a high-end club in Flame City.

He sized her up and found she was wearing light makeup. She looked a lot older than Princess Yu’er on TV, but nowhere near as haggard as those viral online photos.

“This is my nephew, Song Yan,” Charles Zhao said, introducing him.

“Nice to meet you, Young Master Song.”

Jenny and Cathy both quickly stood up and greeted him.

Song Yan waved it off. “No need to be so formal. I asked to meet Miss Zheng for one reason—if you agree to this, you’ll definitely get a second spring in the entertainment industry!”

Hearing this, both Cathy and Jenny’s eyes lit up. Jenny, especially, looked excited. “Please go ahead, Young Master Song.”

“It’s simple. I have a special pill—if Miss Zheng takes it, your looks will return to how you looked at twenty!” Song Yan said with a smile.

“What... How is that even possible?” Jenny was stunned, finding it both shocking and unbelievable.

Cathy felt like Song Yan was telling a fairy tale. If not for his status, she would’ve snapped back at him already.

Song Yan had expected Jenny to doubt him, so he smiled and said, “I have no reason to lie to you. Here’s the deal—let’s sign a contract. If you take my pill and don’t look twenty again, or if there are any side effects, I’ll pay you ten million yuan in compensation. If you really do get your twenty-year-old looks back, you’ll help me with some publicity. How about it?”

The promise of ten million yuan in compensation made Jenny seriously tempted. After only a moment’s hesitation, she agreed and signed the contract with Song Yan.

With everything settled, Song Yan turned to Charles Zhao. “Fourth Uncle, is the filming crew I asked for here?”

“They’re here—the absolute best in the business. I even found you a director: Big-Beard Zhang. He’s waiting next door.”

Song Yan nodded. “Great, bring them all in!”

Hearing that Big-Beard Zhang was waiting next door, both Jenny and Cathy looked amazed. Big-Beard Zhang was one of the most famous directors in the country. For a washed-up actress like Jenny, she’d never even had a chance to meet him before. Yet now, he was waiting next door. This contrast made her realize just how powerful families like the Zhaos really were.
