Three Origins Breakthrough

Sage Nicholas Tranquil’s evaluation of Quinn Shepherd’s sword arts could not be higher. A sword art that dominates the world is not simply a matter of mastering a few advanced moves—it demands a profound understanding of the sword, rising from technique to true art, and even creating one’s own sword style.

Quinn’s current level has surpassed mere sword technique and reached the realm of sword art. Though he himself claims his sword art is riddled with flaws, only those who have half a foot into sword-dao—or have fully entered it—can even perceive those flaws!

Such figures are as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns—barely a handful in the world.

For Quinn to reach the level of true art at such a young age—even if in his own eyes his sword art is full of holes—in the eyes of those who have never reached this stage, it is an exquisite masterpiece.

Yet even with such a disciple, Village Chief is still dissatisfied, saying he’s like a broken sieve—full of holes, so clueless he wouldn’t even know how he died.

That’s a truly outrageous standard.

And Quinn actually admits it, with not a hint of complaint or pride. This kind of humility is far more sincere than the modesty he showed after defeating Ronnie Long.

Sage Nicholas Tranquil shook his head. “That master and disciple pair—both a couple of oddballs.”

His eyes flashed sharply as he said in a deep voice, “Human Emperor Quinn, beating my three Little Jade Capital disciples doesn’t prove your skills are so extraordinary. In truth, your strength is only one or two points higher than Ronnie Long and the others. The real test is in the Three Origins Hall and the Five Qi Hall!”

At his words, Ronnie Long and Cindy Mu both looked a bit embarrassed, thinking Sage Nicholas was just trying to save their pride. Warren Moran, however, seemed lost in thought.
