Unboxing Surprises

When Sean Hayes got married, he took Lola's master, Mrs. Penny, as his bride. Heartbroken, Lola ran to the top of the tower to drink, and nearly fell to her death.

Afterwards, Lola couldn't accept Sean Hayes's marriage, so she deliberately avoided him at every turn.

Both of them were busy with their own affairs, and with Lola's intentional avoidance, they hadn't spoken a word to each other for a very long time.

Now, as Lola caught sight of Sean Hayes's silhouette, memories of their very first meeting flashed through her mind.

Back then, she was so small, pitiful, helpless, and hopeless. It was his arrival that gave her the courage to keep living.

Those memories flashed through her mind in an instant, and for a moment, it felt as if it all belonged to a previous lifetime.

Lola stood still, looking at Sean Hayes, a gentle smile curling on her lips, warm and soft.

She realized that when she looked at him now, there was no more heartache, no more sadness—just the joy of seeing an old friend again, simple and comforting.

"Sean," Lola called his name softly, open and sincere.

When Sean Hayes saw Lola, his eyes lit up with joy. He strode over and laughed heartily, "Little Lola, long time no see! You've grown into a fine young lady. I heard you've been helping Her Majesty with the academy, and doing an amazing job. Unbelievable—a scholar at such a young age!"

Lola smiled so brightly her eyes nearly disappeared, suddenly feeling a weight lift from her heart—the heavy stone that had oppressed her all through her girlhood finally vanished without a trace.

She knew Sean Hayes had always treated her as a little sister, and now, she could finally face him with the same pure affection—just like a real brother, without any lingering doubts.

She had grown through pain and transformation, blossoming at last into an elegant orchid, radiating her own unique charm.

The two walked along, chatting as they went. Sean Hayes was deeply curious about the academy, asking all sorts of questions.

Lola answered every question with ease and confidence, handling everything gracefully.

In the end, Sean Hayes couldn't help but marvel—how the once quiet, reserved girl had truly become someone new!

Soon, they arrived at the warehouse, where Princess Jade Hayes and Belle were busy checking in the last batch of goods.

"Lola, Sean Hayes, you came just in time! Come and see what treasures we've received this time!" Princess Jade Hayes called out, ushering in the last batch of goods and eagerly inviting everyone to take a look.

"Wow, there must be all sorts of treasures!" Everyone was brimming with excitement, especially curious about what rare items the overseas fleet had brought back this time.

"Edward, it's all yours!" Princess Jade Hayes snapped her fingers. Edward strolled in with a cheerful grin, bowing to everyone: "My dear friends, it's been so long! I've missed you all terribly!"

"Ha ha, we've missed you too, Mr. Edward!" Sean Hayes greeted him, imitating Edward's cheerful manner.

"Let's open the box!" Princess Jade Hayes said, her eyes sparkling as she rubbed her hands together in anticipation.

Everyone was full of anticipation—the moment to open the box had finally come! With unknown surprises inside, how could anyone not be excited?

"Alright, let's open it. We'll start from that side." Edward pointed, then took a crowbar, wedged it into the box's seam, and lifted the wooden lid open.

Everyone craned their necks to look inside, spotting an unfamiliar object that resembled a machine.

"What is this?" Sean Hayes asked.

Edward explained, "This is called a steam generator. Her Majesty the Queen specifically requested it be purchased."

"A steam generator? What is electricity?" Everyone was puzzled, turning to Princess Jade Hayes and Edward for answers.
