Ryan Ling never expected that at such a critical moment, someone would actually dare to commit outright robbery—in front of everyone, no less. It was sheer insanity, like they didn’t even see Stan City’s people as people! Honestly, these guys were even nastier than the Northslay Gang back in the Immortal World!
In an instant, a surge of overwhelming power swept across the field. The guy shouting was seriously vile—his target was the absolute heart of Stan City, where the population density was crazy high. If that palm landed, it could easily kill ten thousand people on the spot.
"You dare attack Stan City? Looks to me like you’re the ones asking for death!" Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he shot forward like a rocket, hellbent on slaughter. Anyone who dared mess with Stan City was automatically his enemy, and Ryan Ling was not about to let them off easy!
Two massive forces collided in the sky, detonating with a deafening boom. A giant mushroom cloud instantly formed above Stan City, twisting all the surrounding space. People saw all kinds of wild, multicolored visions in the sky—if Ryan hadn’t stepped in just now, half the city would probably be rubble already!
"Ryan, are you okay?" Lady Miranda bit her lip and rushed to Ryan’s side. The rest of Stan City’s top experts followed—these were all the city’s big names, and right now, they were banding together to face the enemy!
“Get everyone moving—send people to evacuate the key districts inside the city! We need to minimize civilian casualties, that’s the real priority!” Ryan knew full well that having everyone crowd around him was pointless; what mattered was saving lives.
“Right!” Lady Miranda nodded quickly, then shot a look at several of her trusted aides and ordered them to get moving. Ryan might not be the official city lord, but his strength and status were already way above hers. Lady Melody, Alice, and Hepburn all joined the evacuation effort too.
Just then, a squad appeared in the sky, riding heavenly horses—looking every bit like the Heavenly Troops from before. Every single one of them was glowing with arrogance, acting like all of Stan City’s citizens were less than ants in their eyes.
“Well, well! Looks like little Stan City thinks it can rebel now. Who gave you the guts to defy the Count’s Manor? Are you all tired of living?” A voice thundered from the sky, shattering every window it touched. The crowd below broke out in cries and screams—the sound was like a death knell to them.
“Who the hell are these people?” Ryan turned to Lady Miranda, asking urgently.
“Those guys are from the Count’s Manor...” Lady Miranda kept it short, quickly explaining their background to Ryan Ling. He instantly got the picture: In the Demonic World, Stan City is basically bottom-tier, like a small prefecture-level city in China. The Count’s Manor, on the other hand, is the provincial capital’s supreme government—ruling over at least a hundred cities. Stan City is obviously the weakest link, so the Count’s Manor looks down on it completely. Even if they wiped Stan City off the map, the Demonic World at large wouldn’t bat an eye!
And the ones showing up now? Not your average lackeys. Judging by their outfits and swagger, they’re clearly the Count’s Manor’s young masters—the type who act totally brazen, never giving anyone face. To them, crushing a place like Stan City is as simple as squeezing a bug, and they won’t even let you catch your breath.
Ryan didn’t say a word, just kept quietly sizing things up. He was weighing whether he could take this squad in a fight. The so-called Count’s Manor troops? Ryan honestly didn’t rate them. Sure, the folks in Stan City were scared, but Ryan wasn’t—he’d already trashed Heavenly Troops, so these guys were nothing. And with how wild and murderous they acted, Ryan was even less likely to hold back. If he got the chance, he’d wipe them out without a second thought!
“Hand over your treasure, and maybe I’ll let you dogs live. Refuse, and I’ll slaughter every last one of you—Stan City will be erased from the Demonic World for good!” A cold voice rang out from above. It was the young master, sounding like he was issuing an imperial decree—everyone was supposed to obey.
“Ryan, this guy’s seriously bad news...” Lady Miranda whispered, tugging nervously at Ryan’s sleeve.
“What’s there to panic about? We’re way past the point of retreat. Might as well fight it out! Even if the emperor himself showed up today, I’d still kill every last one of them—no one messes with Stan City!” Ryan clenched his fists, totally clear-headed. Sure, the Count’s Manor folks were tough, but they weren’t unbeatable. With his Profound Immortal great-perfection strength, he couldn’t guarantee a win, but he could definitely hold his own. And if things went south, he still had his secret weapons—the severed finger and the round pearl. With those, he could break through to Golden Immortal right here on the spot. Once that happened, these punks would be toast.
"You—you’re really going to stand against them? You’re actually doing this?" Lady Miranda admired Ryan’s strength, but these were Count’s Manor troops—they were on a whole other level. As a woman, she’d never even dared to think of outright rebellion. But with no other options, it was time to turn the tables!
"Relax. If anything goes wrong, just blame everything on me!" Ryan shot Lady Miranda a look—there was zero hesitation. He blasted straight into the sky. He’d already pissed off the Immortal World and become a wanted man; killing a few Demonic World bastards was no big deal.

A surge of power erupted—Ryan aimed it right at that arrogant young master!
“Watch out, young master! Get out of the way—this is deadly! Stan City’s hiding a real monster!” A Golden Immortal nearby shouted, clearly shaken by the raw power and murderous intent exploding off Ryan.
That power whipped around him, making everyone’s heart skip a beat.
“A mere Golden Immortal? You’re dog shit to me! You think you can block me? Die!” Ryan didn’t even hesitate. He unleashed a tyrant’s strike, instantly blasting the Golden Immortal’s body to pieces and devouring the entire Golden Immortal flesh into himself!
“No way! When did Stan City have someone this strong—someone who can actually kill Golden Immortals? Impossible!” The young master from the Count’s Manor was totally stunned. The rest of his squad snapped to attention, forming up into a powerful battle array!
This formation was no joke—way stronger than the slaughter arrays used by Heavenly Troops, maybe even similar to the Northslay Gang’s killing techniques!
Seeing them form a terrifying 'kill' array, Ryan couldn’t help but think of the Northslay Gang. He suddenly felt these guys might be connected!
“You think you’re the heavens, Stan City brat? I’m a genius young master of the Count’s Manor! Time to show you what happens when you cross us—die!” With his order, the array exploded with thunderous force, sucking Ryan right into its center!
This formation wasn’t just insanely strong—the killing intent was off the charts. Ryan’s Profound Immortal body was yanked inside, and he started cracking all over. No way a solo Profound Immortal could hold off a multi–Golden Immortal kill array—it was tough!
“That’s one hell of an annihilation array! This formation is brutal—Ryan’s current strength might not be enough!” Lady Miranda was getting seriously nervous down below…
