Early Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal Realm

Evan Chu and Jade Chu entered the Timewheel Bracelet. Spotting the Fire Golden Body and Earth Golden Body, Evan immediately had an idea. "Sending the Fire Golden Body to get the Fire-Spirit Fruit should be no problem, right? After all, it's made entirely from fire element."

"Big Brother, if you use that avatar, you might just destroy your own clone. The fire element in your Fire Golden Body is too low-grade—if it runs into Heavenfire, it could be swallowed up by the higher fire element. You know what would happen then, right?" Jade Chu said.

Evan looked at Jade Chu in confusion. Since when did this girl get so smart? She actually seems to know more than I do—kind of hard to accept.

"Qing'er, how do you know all this stuff—like about the Ice-Spirit Fruit and Fire-Spirit Fruit? You really seem like a different person lately." Evan asked.

"Big Brother, I'm not a kid anymore—haven't you noticed how tall I've gotten? Now all sorts of information just pops into my head, though I don't really understand most of it. Stuff like Summit of the God Realm, War of the Gods, things like that. But when it comes to the Ice and Fire-Spirit Fruits, it's all crystal clear." Jade Chu replied.

Evan had a hunch—maybe Jade Chu and Tom Chu weren't just ordinary innate treasures. They might actually be from the God Realm, and somehow tied to him. Otherwise, why would they be so loyal, following him so absolutely?

"So that's how it is. You should cultivate too—when the time is almost up, wake me so I can go out and get the Fire-Spirit Fruit. If it really ripens and I miss it, I'll be kicking myself." Evan said.

Right now, both the Fire Golden Body and Earth Golden Body had reached late Golden Immortal realm. But without Evan present, breaking through was tough—they needed him to guide them at the final bottleneck.

Evan and Jade Chu went to the place where the Immortal Crystal was buried. The Immortal Essence inside the Timewheel Bracelet was now ridiculously dense. Evan knew he’d barely interacted with the Immortal Crystal’s spirit—if she ever went on strike, it’d be a disaster for him.

"Xiao Jing, are you doing okay lately? Sorry we left for a while and just dumped you here." Evan said.

"This place is great! I really like it here now. Look, everywhere is filled with Immortal Essence I've sprayed out, and the scenery is beautiful—way better than my old home." came the voice of a little girl from deep in the earth.

"That's perfect. Big Brother will be cultivating here for a hundred years—I'll be relying on you for Immortal Essence!" Evan said.

"No problem! Just focus on cultivating—I'll do my best to keep you supplied."

With such a heaven-defying treasure, Evan couldn’t help worrying he’d get struck by lightning for being too lucky. Steadying his mind, he started frantically absorbing Immortal Essence.

As Immortal Essence poured into him, it instantly converted into Chaos Immortal Liquid. Again and again, he absorbed and circulated the energy, losing himself completely in cultivation. Time meant nothing—before he knew it, eighty years had passed.

By then, Evan had broken through to the Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal realm. Only now did he realize the difference crossing a major realm made. Da Luo Golden Immortal was strong, but Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal was ten times stronger.

Now he was fully confident he could challenge Blazefire Immortal Lord head-on, and he was sure he wouldn’t lose. Even if he couldn’t kill him, he could at least seriously injure him—at worst, fight to a draw.

With twenty years left, Evan didn’t want to waste any of it. Having reached Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal, he decided it was finally time to cultivate the sixth form of Sevenfold Absolute Cleave—Divine Cleave. Only by mastering Divine Cleave could he truly stand in the Immortal Realm and earn the right to kill Immortal Emperors.

He didn’t bother thinking about borrowing Stellar Power for now—it wasn’t an option anyway. He figured twenty years was enough to perfect Divine Cleave.

He slowly pondered the method for using Divine Cleave. With the Sword Spirit gone, he was on his own—but he soon realized Divine Cleave was insanely profound, on a whole different level from the first five forms.

Divine Cleave requires borrowing the power of heaven and earth. Now that he’d reached early Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal, the complete method for Divine Cleave still wouldn’t fully appear in his mind—he only had a rough idea. To use Divine Cleave, he needed massive Immortal Essence, at least mid or late Immortal Lord level.

But with Evan’s physique, mid Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal was enough. Divine Cleave had world-annihilating power and couldn’t be used lightly—overusing it would trigger heavenly punishment.

Evan was pretty frustrated. Borrowing heaven-and-earth power was exactly what gave him headaches—last time, resonating with a Big Dipper Star Mark nearly killed him.

And the trickiest part: he had to completely seal off his Chaos Immortal Force, and needed a safe place to practice. With only a hundred years in seclusion, if there were stars inside the Timewheel Bracelet, he wouldn’t have to worry about any of this.

Meanwhile, after Evan dove into the earth, things changed in the Immortal Realm. Xander Xuan’s group returned to Solarion Palace and immediately locked Yvonne Xuan in a secret chamber. Until Logan Vaughn’s Immortal Infant was found, she was forbidden to leave, and the chamber was sealed with powerful Immortal Essence.

Yvonne didn’t protest. She knew Evan would come for her eventually, and she’d already seen through her so-called family—she was just a bargaining chip in her father’s hands.

She knew Evan was cultivating inside the Timewheel Bracelet—when he emerged, his realm would be sky-high, and sooner or later he’d ascend to the God Realm. If she didn’t work hard, she’d never be able to follow him there. Even entering the Timewheel Bracelet would only buy her a little time.

So from the moment she was locked away, she started cultivating desperately. Meanwhile, Roxanne Lin, Serena Frost, and Macy Mei were taken by Lynn Ling to Dream Spirit Sanctuary, receiving special treatment thanks to Evan.

The three women also started closed-door cultivation as soon as they arrived at Dream Spirit Sanctuary. Everything that happened in Newcapital City was still fresh in their minds—the root cause was their lack of strength. Otherwise, Evan wouldn’t have been forced to hide underground.

Time flew by, and all three made huge progress in cultivation. But Serena Frost overlooked one thing: inside her Tri-Mystic Tower, an Immortal Lord-level Immortal Infant was still imprisoned. By now, it had grown terrifyingly strong—any moment it might break the tower’s seals and escape…
