Interstellar Migration Part Two

1/11/2026

Within the Mory Sector, one of the three publicly acknowledged strongest governors has already been apprehended by Andrew Han and sent directly to the Ancient Kingdom's Star Prison. He has also ordered a thorough investigation, and it's likely that not only the three major governors but also the others are not entirely clean. If he pursues the investigation with resolve, almost every one of them will have something uncovered.

The only difference lies in the severity—some more, some less.

That is why Governor Hanson is afraid, and Governor Brooke Gale is afraid too. Neither of them wishes to personally experience Star Prison. Once inside the Star Prison of the Cosmic Ancient Kingdom, whether one can clear their name is unknown; most likely, they would spend the better part of their lives imprisoned.

"Whew."

Upon hearing Andrew Han’s words, Governor Hanson shrugged, letting out a barely noticeable sigh of relief.

"We..."

Governor Brooke Gale forced a smile, her expression radiant and charming, as if she had a clear conscience.

On the virtual screen, Andrew Han’s expression remained unchanged as he quietly watched the two putting on a show. Outwardly, he showed a hint of understanding, but in truth, he was unmoved. One must know, back in his original homeland Earth, crimes were easily determined and the law covered an extremely broad scope.

But this is the starry sky—the vast, boundless cosmic expanse!

Here, strength reigns supreme, and that is not just an empty phrase. An ordinary Void Rift-tier cultivator might massacre an entire life-bearing star on a whim, and it would not be considered a serious crime—perhaps not even a crime at all. From the Archaic Hall down to the Ancient Kingdom’s star sectors, such acts are merely seen as evidence of a Void Rift cultivator’s cold disposition.

Murder, arson, robbery, theft, and small-scale cosmic massacres cannot be included under the Supreme Human Law or the Universal Human Code.

So then.

What, then, is a crime?

To the Law-Enforcement Pavilion, only violations of the Human Supreme Law or the Universal Human Code count as crimes. To the Archaic Hall, harming Human interests or obstructing Human development is a crime. To the vast cosmic sea, weakness itself is a crime.

When disputes erupt among the myriad cosmic races and wars begin, who can truly speak of right or wrong, black or white?

In the eyes of ordinary people, other races are synonymous with disaster. But to those other life races, deep down they believe themselves blameless—are not the Supreme Humans also seen as terrifying, monstrous beings guilty of grave crimes?

"Sigh."

Andrew Han let out a soft sigh and stopped thinking further.

"Governor Hanson, Governor Brooke Gale."

Andrew Han stared at the virtual screen. "I’ve discovered several abnormal, large-scale orders in recent years, from the Mory Sector to the Yarlowe Sector."

Yarlowe Sector?

Mory and Yarlowe—two star sectors side by side, both among the seventeen sectors of the Cosmic Ancient Kingdom.

On the screen, Governor Brooke Gale brushed her hair aside, her face showing astonishment as she spoke: "I recall, Lord Andrew Han, your hometown is in the Yarlowe Sector, isn’t it? You probably haven’t had time to return home."

It is said that Andrew Han was born in a remote stellar system within the Yarlowe Sector.

Governor Hanson had also heard a bit about this. "The Yarlowe Sector—so that’s your homeland, Lord Han. What do you need us to do?"

"Hmph."

Andrew Han’s expression turned cold, his voice low and resonant, a murderous intent seeming to pierce the screen: "The registered recipient for many of those large-scale orders in the Yarlowe Sector is my parents—my biological parents."

As the saying goes, you don’t know until you investigate—when you do, it’s shocking.

Originally, he just wanted to check how his parents were doing lately and casually looked into it. But by following the faint clues, he ended up uncovering a total of three thousand and nine large-scale orders.

And this alarming number is only the temporary result as of now.

And that’s just what could be found on the surface.

Not to mention those orders that couldn’t be traced, or haven’t yet been uncovered... If the law were enforced strictly, under the Universal Human Code, his parents might end up in Star Prison. Even if it’s only a possibility, it already crosses Andrew Han’s bottom line.

"Who is it?"

Andrew Han stared at Governor Hanson, then at Governor Brooke Gale. He was determined to find out which governor was so foolish as to try dragging him into the mess—clearly tired of living.

Soon, the prefix of 'new-generation Eternal King' would be set aside, along with the special status of Fate Rebel—Andrew Han stands apart from all internal conflicts; even if Supremes quarrel, none would treat him as a pawn.

"Governor Hanson, Governor Brooke Gale, do you know who it is—or who they are?" Andrew Han’s gaze was as deep and unfathomable as the sea.

A headquarters-parachuted Inspector Envoy can never match a local star-sector governor. He may not be able to uncover the truth, but that doesn’t mean the governors are powerless either. In terms of control, political cunning, and all manner of tactics, Andrew Han is no match for a star-sector governor.

His cold, expressionless indifference at that moment sent a chill through both Governor Hanson and Governor Brooke Gale, as if an invisible giant hand had seized their hearts.

"We... truly do not know." the two replied obediently.

Oppressive, stifling, an inexplicable chill—emotions too numerous to list surfaced one after another. The two exchanged a glance through the virtual screen and saw the same fear and dread in each other’s eyes.
