Auntie, You Got It Wrong

1/11/2026

Outside Monica Zhang's residential compound.

Andrew Han opened the car trunk, glanced at Monica's luggage, and couldn't help but twitch at the corners of his eyes. He clicked his tongue, "So much stuff?"

In front of him,

there were two suitcases, two large fabric bags, a pink backpack, and Monica Zhang herself, standing prettily.

"It's not that much," Monica said with a soft smile, first lifting a fabric bag into the car. "I didn't bring that many things, just worried it wouldn't fit."

"Let me do it."

Andrew shook his head, stepped forward, and easily lifted the suitcases and fabric bags into the trunk—only to find the trunk was already full... and they still had to pick up Zoe Li.

If he'd known, he might as well not bring Zoe Li.

He pondered for a moment, truly surprised by how much luggage girls brought. He himself only had a backpack—clearly a miscalculation.

"Let's go!" Monica cheered, pumping her fist excitedly.

For today's trip, she'd specially asked her mother to help with a delicate, light makeup—after all, she believed that since she was about to arrive at Southland University, she should pay attention to her appearance... She'd also changed into a fresh blue-and-white outfit, paired with white ankle socks, radiating youthful energy.

Andrew turned to look at her, his eyes flashing.

The midday sunlight fell on Monica, as if casting a gentle, crystal glow over her. Countless words associated with beauty naturally surfaced in his mind.

Strictly speaking,

Monica wasn't exactly seductive or glamorous, but her features were delicate and refined, her figure well-proportioned, with a gentle and fresh air about her.

"Are you really that happy?" Andrew stared blankly for a moment, then shook his head with a smile.

"Of course! We're heading to Southland University, aren't you excited?" Monica tilted her head, stepped closer, and asked with a trace of curiosity.

"It's fine," Andrew replied with a mild smile. "But what about Zoe Li's luggage? I bet you girls all bring a lot."

Monica paused, glancing at the silver car.

Right.

Her luggage already filled the trunk, so what about Zoe Li? Maybe Zoe should just take the train by herself... Monica mused quietly.

Bathed in sunlight, her clear, beautiful eyes sometimes glanced at Andrew Han, sometimes at the compound.

Monica was observing.

If her parents came out to sneak a look, wouldn't she be exposed? But Roy Zhang and the others were standing far away, so Monica couldn't see them.

Andrew was thinking.

After pondering for a moment, he finally came up with a good idea and dialed Gavin King's number.

"Get in the car!"

Andrew smiled.

"Alright!" Monica cheerfully walked around to the front of the car and got in.

Thump.

Andrew closed the car door and started the vehicle... In fact, he had already sensed two gazes coming from within the compound. After all, he was a Peerless First Rank; even though his Inspiration couldn't currently sense ordinary people's goodwill or malice, his senses were still extremely sharp.

......

Greenfield Estates.

It was a relatively upscale residential complex, with a large bird statue on each side of the entrance, symbolizing the meaning of spreading wings and flying. The marble paving underfoot was also quite refined, covering the entryway.

Iris Shen and Zoe Li stood behind the car.

Likewise,

Zoe Li's luggage for the start of school was even more than Monica's—she had three suitcases alone.

"This car is a bit small."

Dressed in a white dress, Zoe Li stood behind the car, looking at the trunk that couldn't fit her luggage, a trace of confusion and disappointment flashing in her eyes.

"This car is pretty nice, it's comfortable to sit in." Monica stood nearby and smiled sweetly.
