Evan Yang heard the voice and found it strangely familiar, so he looked over curiously—just in time to see a familiar figure. "Miss Nangong?"
"What do you mean, Miss Nangong?" The newcomer was a woman who looked exactly like Hannah Nangong, but her aura was unfathomably deep. Evan quickly realized that this wasn't Hannah Nangong.
"It's nothing. You just look a lot like a friend of mine," Evan said.
The member of the White-Light Guard Corps who brought Evan in said, "Kid, don't go around calling people names. You can't just address the Holy Saintess however you like!"
"Holy Saintess?" Evan muttered inwardly, his expression turning skeptical.
The woman glanced at Evan, then said to the guard, "White-Light Guard Corps, I asked you what kind of person you brought in, but you haven't answered me yet."
The guard hurriedly replied, "He sneaked into the Heavenpool Forbidden Zone. I caught him just outside and brought him in."
"Heavenpool Forbidden Zone? What's going on here?" The woman looked at Evan and asked.
Seeing someone who looked identical to Hannah Nangong questioning him, Evan knew she wasn't Hannah. He could only reply, "I didn't know that place was forbidden, and I don't even know where I am. Can you tell me how to leave this Temple of Light?"
"Entering the Heavenpool Forbidden Zone means punishment. White-Light Guard Corps, you may go now," the woman said to the guard.
The guard nodded and left. Evan Yang regained his freedom of movement and looked at the woman suspiciously. Once the White-Light Guard Corps had departed, the woman asked, "Do you know me?"
"How did you know?" Evan originally didn't think this was Hannah Nangong, but hearing her say that made him curious again.
"I don't know. But my subconscious tells me that we know each other," the woman said.
Evan looked at the woman and asked curiously, "What's your name?"
"They call me the Holy Saintess. As for my real name, I don't know," she replied.
"In that case, I'll call you Holy Saintess too. You really don't remember me?" Evan said.
"I can't recall. When I woke up over a thousand years ago, I couldn't remember anything from before. I only knew I was the Holy Saintess," she said.
"Over a thousand years?" Evan muttered to himself. That was around the time Hannah Nangong disappeared. Could this woman really be Hannah Nangong? But judging by her aura, they were completely different people, and she didn't remember anything from before, so it was hard to say.
"Do you really not know me?" the Holy Saintess asked.
"I know someone who looks exactly like you, but her aura and identity are completely different from yours, so I can't be sure," Evan replied.
