Ascending Heavenly Elephant

2/14/2026

Evan Lin stepped forward with his right foot, executing 'Treading the Seven Stars.'

With this step, he slipped past Drake Huang's body, perfectly dodging Drake's punch.

Drake Huang frowned, a hint of surprise on his face.

In the heat of their intense fist exchange, he hadn’t expected Evan Lin to still have time to adjust his footwork!

"Seven Mysteries Dragon-Elephant Fist, Second Form—Thousand-Ton Jack!"

Evan’s expression was icy, his voice clear and cold. He first formed a palm at his right side, then turned it into a fist and punched out.

This punch whipped up a fierce howl, heading straight for Drake Huang’s face.

“Cheap tricks!” Drake Huang snorted coldly, quickly pulling his right hand back to guard. His trench coat flared as he punched out to meet Evan’s fist head-on.

Boom!

Compared to their earlier punches, the sound of this collision was crisper—like thunder cracking through the air.

The people standing close by turned pale with shock, stumbling back several steps in fear. Warren Wu, who had already been knocked down by Evan, scrambled and crawled into the crowd.

Drake Huang let out a light snort, the force from Evan’s punch making his right fist tingle with shock.

Just now, in their exchanges, Drake Huang only thought Evan Lin was fast and had a hard punch, but not enough to threaten him.

But this punch’s power far surpassed the previous ones—caught off guard, Drake Huang was forced half a step back.

"You’re courting death!" Rage boiled in Drake Huang’s heart. Since his rise to fame, he had never been publicly driven back by a junior—even a half-step, even if he was holding back!

Drake Huang roared in anger, his clothes suddenly billowing. He stomped the ground with one foot, and cracks instantly spread from where he stood, radiating outward.

“Damn, Master Huang is pissed!” The onlookers’ faces flashed with astonishment at the sight.

“That kid’s probably going to die here tonight. He actually made Master Huang back up half a step! Who is he, anyway?” someone blurted out, unable to contain their shock. The spectacle tonight was blowing everyone’s minds.

In all of River City, Drake Huang’s reputation was enough to make people tremble. Just standing there without making a move, he exuded overwhelming pressure—let alone now, when he was truly angry!

With a deafening crash, Drake Huang shot toward Evan Lin like a cannonball. The moment his right foot left the ground, the entire floor shattered completely.

Rachel Liu’s face went pale at the sight. Beside her, Summer Mu tried to step forward and intervene, but Keaton Wang yanked him back hard.

“Bro Summer, don’t go! That guy could kill you with one punch!” Keaton Wang’s face was white with fear. “Who is your friend, anyway? This fight is way too brutal—and that’s Drake Huang!”

Simon Zuo’s face was also grim—he hadn’t expected Evan Lin to last this long against Drake Huang!

Julia Du and Linda Zhao exchanged a glance, each seeing shock in the other’s eyes.

“What a shame. Who would’ve thought this kid was so skilled? It’s just such a pity,” Linda Zhao sighed. Julia Du understood exactly what she meant.

Once Drake Huang got angry, what did it matter how skilled Evan Lin was?

Maybe in ten years, with Evan Lin’s talent, he could challenge Drake Huang. But for now, Evan was simply too young.

"One punch and you’ll be dead—prepare to die!" In the next instant, Drake Huang was already in close, swinging a punch that left streaks of afterimages. To the crowd, it looked like he’d thrown multiple punches at once.

"Seven Mysteries Dragon-Elephant Fist, Third Form—Warring Starfield!"

Evan Lin’s eyes flashed. White radiance danced across his fist as the muscles in his right arm bulged—he punched out, like a meteor streaking through the sky.

Bang!

Their fists collided. Both men were blasted backward at the same time, flying several steps away.

"Such incredible physical strength." Drake Huang landed, staring at Evan Lin, who had steadied himself not far away. His mind was filled with shock and doubt.

That punch just now—Drake Huang had used half his strength. If it had hit a concrete wall, he could have punched straight through. Yet the young man before him had blocked it head-on!

From start to finish, their fight had been pure, bare-knuckle brawling—no fancy moves at all.

Suddenly, Drake Huang felt something strange. He was already at the peak of Inner Strength—meaning he’d fully unlocked the potential of his body’s meridians and channels. Both his speed and power far surpassed ordinary people.

To reach Inner Strength, you first had to master External Strength. Only by breaking through that barrier, and finding the right technique, could you hope to attain Inner Strength.

Half of Drake Huang’s power was more than enough to kill any ordinary master at the peak of External Strength. Yet that kid before him hadn’t even been scratched?

A top young fighter not even twenty years old?

Drake Huang’s expression shifted, his mind beginning to turn over the possibilities.

To have such cultivation before the age of twenty—even if not a once-in-a-generation genius, he was certainly exceptionally gifted.

A guy like this surely had some powerful backers or family—otherwise, it’s almost impossible to figure out martial arts alone.

But if Drake Huang knew the boy before him had actually trained for less than a month in this world, he probably wouldn’t even think of fighting him.

Eat these punches! Hell yeah! Haha!

Evan Lin leapt back, feeling a tingling numbness in his right fist. He laughed, his eyes flashing with battle-lust.

Even though Drake Huang was nothing in Evan’s eyes, being able to face a half-decent opponent with his current cultivation was enough to excite him.

Back in Brightsea, knocking everyone down with a single punch had gotten a bit boring for Evan.

Alright, my turn now!

Evan grinned, planted his left foot, paused for a split second, then sprang forward, body low, charging straight at Drake Huang.

Seven Mysteries Dragon-Elephant Fist, Fourth Form—Ascending Heavenly Elephant!

Evan’s voice was clear and cold as he suddenly leaped high, moving like lightning, his foot kicking straight for Drake Huang’s face.

The attack was so fierce that the crowd couldn’t even see Evan’s movements—only the youth soaring high, suddenly radiating unstoppable momentum.

"You’ve got guts!" Drake Huang’s eyes went wide. This time, he leaned in hard, hurling his whole body at Evan in mid-air.

The two collided in mid-air, like a comet smashing into the earth!
