Four Kills

1/18/2026

Hearing Ian Song's mocking words, Vulcan Pi's face instantly flushed red, the veins on his forehead bulging. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine that the 'ant-like grasshopper' in his eyes could suddenly threaten his life.

Especially with his two disciples still present, this was the ultimate humiliation. A surge of murderous intent welled up inside him as he glared viciously at Ian Song and spat, "Do you really think you can kill me? Remove your sword, kneel, and apologize. If you do, I won't hold it against you!"

As for Fletcher Toba and Diana Toba, they were completely stunned by the scene before them, unable to believe their eyes. It was simply unreal.

Hearing Vulcan Pi's words, Diana snapped out of her daze and cried out anxiously, "Ian Song, put away your sword and apologize to Master!"

She knew that even if Ian Song killed Vulcan Pi, escaping the Fire God Church would be nearly impossible. After all, the church had over a hundred Tribulation experts and even Immortals guarding it.

"Kneel and apologize!" Vulcan Pi regained his composure, stared coldly at Ian Song, and barked.

Smack!

Suddenly, a sharp, ringing slap echoed through the hall—Ian Song had just slapped Vulcan Pi hard across the face.

As Ian Song's palm landed on Vulcan Pi's face, time itself seemed to freeze.

Fletcher and Diana's mouths dropped wide open, enough to fit a fist inside, and their eyes went perfectly round.

Fletcher Toba finally couldn't hold it in and muttered, "How dare he? How could that bastard actually slap Master?"

Diana Toba's feelings were a tangled mess. She knew that after that slap, there was no way Ian Song and Vulcan Pi could ever make up. For the head of a sect to get slapped, it wasn't just an insult to Vulcan Pi—it was a slap in the face to the whole Fire God Church. It was way worse than destroying ten or eight branch altars.

Vulcan Pi's face switched colors in a flash—red, iron-blue, then pitch-black. By the end, his eyes were burning with murderous intent. He roared, "You little thief, I swear I'll tear you to pieces and burn your soul with karmic red-lotus fire for two thousand years!"

Ian Song just smiled and said, "Do you think your threats mean anything to me?"

As he spoke, Ian Song loosened his grip on the Azure Flood-Dragon Sword, sending the blade a full inch into Vulcan Pi's brow. Brutal sword intent crashed into Vulcan Pi's sea of consciousness, threatening to shatter his Primordial Spirit.

Only now did Vulcan Pi realize his life was still in Ian Song's hands.

After a long silence, Vulcan Pi finally asked, "What do you want?"

Ian Song said, "First, stop the Song Dynasty from attacking the Tang Dynasty, and don't let the Fire God Church target Tang. Second, Diana Toba is my woman; you have to marry her to me. Agree to these two terms, and I'll let you go."

"Fine, I agree!" Vulcan Pi said.

Vulcan Pi thought for a moment and agreed.
