Return and Going Forth

2/14/2026

Watching as the Heaven's Eye closes, the Heavenly Tribulation retreats.

Up in the sky, the thick, dark storm clouds begin to disperse.

The aura of Heavenly Tribulation gradually fades away.

Evan Lin, still covered in golden light, felt a bit dissatisfied, but did not pursue further.

Heavenly Tribulation is, after all, a kind of formation—meant to test whether anyone in this world can ascend. Now that the formation has been forcibly stopped, even Evan Lin can't chase it any further.

Seeing the Heavenly Tribulation vanish and all danger recede, Evan simply lay back down on the ground.

After lying down, he glanced at the patch of darkness beside the Woman Statue, his gaze cold, then closed his eyes.

Just now, the Left-Hand Dragon possessed him, activating the Golden Spirit Body and channeling all the refined tribulation lightning into his own body.

Now the Left-Hand Dragon has separated from Evan’s body and returned to his left arm.

There, it opens its dragon mouth and swallows all the refined tribulation power, processed along a special internal route, into itself.

Clusters of extremely pure lightning energy, combined with the pressure of Heavenly Tribulation, make the Left-Hand Dragon's eyes blaze.

The Lyria Blossom quietly circles nearby, clearly interested in the scene unfolding before it.

The Lyria Blossom moves in closer, seemingly planning to snatch food from the dragon's mouth, but gets smacked aside by the Left-Hand Dragon's tail.

Watching the storm clouds above gradually disperse, sunlight breaks through the sky.

Not far away, Yvette Locke and Grandmaster You, along with the others, finally rush over.

Grandmaster You stares at Coldspire Peak, now covered in scars from the Heavenly Tribulation, his face full of horror.

When he looks back at Evan Lin—battered, but at least still in one piece—his awe only grows.

After all, under such ferocious attacks, if it had been Grandmaster You instead, he’d have been reduced to ashes long ago.

"Someone’s coming. Take him away."

Lily Zhao finally emerges from the Soul-Sacrifice Beauty Scroll, waves her hand, and Evan Lin is lifted by an invisible force, floating in midair.

They had originally planned to rush over as soon as the Heavenly Tribulation disappeared.

But, intimidated by the power of the Heavenly Tribulation, none of them dared to be the first.

Only after waiting a long time, seeing the sky clear and no trace of any strong aura nearby, did they hurry over.

At a single glance, seeing Coldspire Peak utterly destroyed, shock was all that could be seen in their eyes.

For a long moment, no one said a word.

Leaving Coldspire Peak, Yvette Locke led the way, taking Lily Zhao to the hotel.

Grandmaster You followed closely, and on the way, they ran into You Han.

Apparently, You Han ran fast—he’d already escaped Coldspire Peak before the Heavenly Tribulation descended. Otherwise, he’d surely be dead now.

They arrived at the hotel.

Evan Lin was still fast asleep.

Queenie watched Evan Lin, worried about his condition.

When she saw Lily Zhao standing there, besides being amazed, her expression grew more complicated.

Standing beside Lily Zhao, both Queenie and Yvette Locke felt overshadowed.

It seemed that no woman in the world could compare to the one before them.

"I'll guard here. The rest of you stay outside—don’t let anyone in."

Lily Zhao gave the order, leaving no room for argument.

Everyone stepped back in turn.

Grandmaster You sat cross-legged at the door, while You Han became the errand runner.

Yvette Locke was pulled aside by Queenie, who bombarded her with questions.

"So, that woman came out of the Great Bronze Sarcophagus?"
