"You two, come over here and finish off Ken Wang."
Louis Liu shouted at Peter Wu and the Drowned Wraith. My heart skipped a beat and I rushed forward. Suddenly, I realized I could see Louis Liu, Peter Wu, and the Drowned Wraith—all three were right in front of me.
"Do it, Ethan!" Ken Wang shouted from behind me. Without hesitation, I stabbed straight at Louis Liu's heart.
With a hiss, the Deathbane Aura Blade pierced through Louis Liu's heart. He let out a painful cry.
"Die!" I roared, and from my back, streaks of Deathbane Aura shot toward Louis Liu. A burst of green light appeared right in front of him.
"Damn, that was careless."
A swishing sound rang out as Peter Wu used his dagger to cut away my Deathbane Aura. Then I saw that he suddenly had three throwing knives in his hand. My heart raced. Suddenly, all three knives were flying toward me at close range.
It was too late. Fear shot through me as I scrambled to reposition myself.
"Ethan, charge forward!"
I heard the voice and didn’t hesitate. Raising my Deathbane Aura Blade, I leapt forward and slashed at Peter Wu. The throwing knives were already right in front of my eyes, but suddenly, they changed course and flew off to either side.
Peter Wu was startled and tried to fight back, but my Deathbane Aura Blade was already swinging for his head. He raised his arm, and with a flash, the hand holding the dagger was severed and sent flying.
I couldn't give them any chance.
With a roar, I conjured another Deathbane Aura Blade in my other hand. Wielding both blades, I stabbed one into Peter Wu's chest and slashed the other at his neck.
A shrill scream erupted as Peter Wu's body glowed green and sprayed green blood. I kicked him away, then immediately raised my twin blades and charged at Louis Liu, who was still clutching his chest in shock.
Louis Liu stretched out his hand, cold aura spilling out. With a crack, the ground beneath me shifted, and the Drowned Wraith curled up, transforming into a stream of water that rushed toward me.
"Keep moving forward, Ethan!"
"This time, you won't escape."
The swirling water grazed my shoulder and shot up toward the sky. My twin blades struck Louis Liu hard, and he screamed as I carved two deep gashes into his body.
With one sword, I sliced off his head; with the other, I stabbed upward. The Drowned Wraith above revealed its round form, and my blade pierced its neck.
"Ethan Zhang..." came an angry roar. Peter Wu stood up. Louis Liu and the Drowned Wraith looked badly injured and couldn't fight anymore for now.
I charged at Peter Wu, who had just gotten up and was drifting toward me, blades raised.
Suddenly, I sensed something strange. Something felt off all around me. I realized a powerful ghost force was emanating from Peter Wu.
"Blood Bead Ghost Domain, activate..."
With a boom, I felt myself step into something. Instantly, the scenery around me changed completely. Peter Wu clutched his chest, bleeding from his seven orifices, looking miserable as he glared at me.
All around me were eyeballs dripping blood, each one staring at me. I stood on a barren wasteland, with nothing but desolation in sight.
Peter Wu let out a painful scream, clearly suffering. A chorus of sobs rose up. I saw, besides the floating, bleeding eyeballs, that on the ground, eyeless female ghosts were crawling toward me, whimpering.
"Damn, Xiao Ping, you just became a Blue Wraith and you’re already forcing open a ghost domain. Impressive! With that talent, you’ll go far in a few years."
"Thanks for the compliment, boss. I’m definitely going to take this guy out."
"Suit yourself, hehe. Ethan Zhang, even with Ken Wang helping you, you’re inside the ghost domain and he’s outside. If he can’t get in, you’re done for."
"Bring it on! Stop with the bullshit. Damn it."
Anger boiled in my chest as I looked around—the number of eyeless female ghosts was overwhelming.
"You know, after this story was rewritten, all the main characters became women. But since you showed up, there was a special change to the plot. Those women have to escape from me—the Slasher. Funny, right? Too bad, so far, not one of the 534 women has escaped. I gouged out all their eyes. Ha."
"Does killing them really make you happy? Satisfied?"
I stared at Peter Wu in a daze. All around me, the eyeless female ghosts were closing in—there were so many.
"Hmph, happy or not, whatever. I really love eyeballs—so shiny." Peter Wu seemed to recover a bit, almost delirious as he spoke. He stretched out his tongue, licked his dagger, eyes gleaming with excitement as he stared at the eyeballs around us.
"You freak. Damn it." I cursed, and suddenly, one of the eyeballs in the air flew straight at me.
I didn’t dare let my guard down. I raised my Deathbane Aura Blade and stabbed at the eyeball, but it instantly dodged my blade and shot toward me, slamming into my shoulder with a bang.
"These eyes are filled with murderous intent, Ethan Zhang..."
With a hiss, I looked at my shoulder blade—pierced by a dagger, blood spraying. For a moment, I thought I’d been hit by a steel pellet, but it was actually a sharp dagger driven through my shoulder.
"You’d better be careful. My ghost domain may have a temporary name, but it’s deadly—full of murderous intent."

As Peter Wu spoke, his figure gradually faded away.
"Enjoy yourself, Ethan Zhang."
A horde of female ghosts whimpered as they slowly surrounded me. I watched them, hesitating with my Deathbane Aura Blade in hand, reluctant to strike.
But I couldn’t afford to hesitate. I slashed out with both blades, cutting down several ghosts, then charged toward a spot where there were fewer of them. I had to break out of the encirclement.
"Ethan Zhang, did you forget something?" Peter Wu’s voice came from my side. I stopped abruptly as he lunged at me with a dagger. I dodged, but felt a rush of wind behind me and instinctively ducked—a flying eyeball shot past me.
With a smack, the eyeball hit the ground and sank into the earth.
Peter Wu vanished again, and I was completely surrounded. He seemed to be blending in with the female ghosts, ready to strike a fatal blow at any moment.
With a shout, I unleashed the Deathbane Aura, instantly piercing through a swath of female ghosts around me. I finally saw an opening and immediately conjured another Deathbane Aura Blade, charging toward it.
"It’s useless." Peter Wu’s voice rang out again. I saw the ghosts I’d pierced begin to heal themselves.
I had to find an exit, or things would turn against me. As I thought it through, I realized that Peter Wu’s ghost domain was just opened—it must still be fragile.
I swung my sword forward, cutting down a female ghost, then leaped out, gathering Deathbane Aura on my blade as I moved through the empty wasteland.
Suddenly, eyeballs floated up right in front of me.
"Ethan Zhang, I’d love to play with you a bit longer, but I’m running out of strength." Peter Wu appeared before me.
I gave a faint smile.
"Same here." I was starting to feel exhausted too—the Deathbane Aura was draining fast. I tried drawing energy from the ground, but it didn’t work.
Suddenly, a black light flashed, and eyeballs smashed into my body. Daggers pierced me everywhere, but I started to laugh.
Peter Wu’s eyes widened at me. In an instant, I split his body in two—the Deathbane Aura I’d gathered was incredibly potent. With a hiss, a gap opened behind him, and sure enough, I could see the outside.
"Ethan!" Ken Wang shouted. Without a second thought, I dashed outside.
The moment I stepped outside, a howl rang out behind me. I turned to see Peter Wu’s face twisted in fury, his skin splitting open with cracks. Green light blazed from his body as eyeballs burst out from the wounds. He raised his dagger and charged after me.
"Damn, how did your ghost souls multiply so fast, Xiao Ping? You’re insane!"
The Blue Wraith’s voice came from above, sounding shocked. I could feel Peter Wu’s power growing stronger.
The moment I set foot on the bridge, I spun around and unleashed all my strength, sending Deathbane Aura streaking toward Peter Wu.
"Haha, Ethan Zhang, thank you!" Peter Wu shouted, suddenly opening his mouth wide and sucking in all my Deathbane Aura.
Peter Wu rushed up to me, the eyeballs on his body glaring viciously. But then I realized he wasn’t coming for me—he was after Ken Wang.
"Ken..." I shouted, turning to see a flash of green light as Peter Wu reached Ken Wang, dagger raised, ready to strike while Ken was still trying to write. Eyes wide, I charged forward.
