Fierce Battle with the Nether Viper

"I knew you'd ask! What, you need me to help you pick up girls now? Seriously, Evan, you're unbelievable!" Luna chimed in, her voice full of teasing exasperation.

"Didn't you say her Nether Yin Constitution could massively boost my strength? Then I can restore your body faster, and we'll finally be together—don't you want that?" Evan shot back.

"What can I even say? You've got so many women, but not many will make it to the Immortal Realm with you, so I'm not worried. Anyway, since it's a serpent, its weak spot is the 'seven inches'—that's where it's most vulnerable. Lightning attacks are especially deadly. You figure it out!" Luna replied, half annoyed, half instructive.

"Hit a snake at the seven inches, huh? Makes sense—the weak spot must be there. But this guy's so huge, maybe it's more like seven meters! I know what to do now." Evan grinned.

Right now, the Nether Viper was still writhing in agony from Evan's Soul Rend, but after a short recovery, it was mostly healed. Its lantern-sized eyes stared daggers at Evan, itching to swallow this 'lowly human' whole.

Evan focused his spiritual sense on the Nether Viper's seven-inch area. He knew there had to be a spot where its defenses were thinnest—if he struck there, he could seriously wound or even kill it. That's how he took down the Tyrant Earthwyrm before, and it was why he provoked the viper into revealing its true form.

After a careful look, he noticed that a few scales about two meters below the viper's neck were a different color—while the rest were deep black, these were dark red. You wouldn't spot it without looking closely.

Evan's heart skipped—he knew that had to be the viper's weakest spot. Chaos Dragon Force surged through his body, pouring into his right arm.

Faye was busy recovering from her wounds; unleashing her big move had almost drained her Nether Power completely. Only now did she realize how terrifying the Nether Viper was. Even though both were Ninth-Layer Saint Martial, its hybrid beast nature gave it far greater defense and attack than any human—no comparison.

Her only hope now was the young man before her. She couldn't understand how someone who hadn't even broken through to Saint Martial could be so strong, with such insane defense, recovery, and speed—a true rarity.

At that moment, the Nether Viper lifted its head and reared up, leaving only its tail on the ground, then sprayed a cloud of black mist at Evan. Anyone could tell it was deadly poison—the viper was even more toxic than ordinary snakes.

"Watch out, you little thief!" Faye called out from the distance, not even sure herself why she was warning Evan.

Evan quickly dropped down to avoid the black mist, then glanced at where Faye was standing and said, "See, wife? I knew you'd worry about me. Don't sweat it—this little mud-eel's poison doesn't scare me at all!"

"Can't stop showing off, huh?" Faye muttered angrily under her breath. Even now, he was still acting all high and mighty—he wouldn't even know how he died at this rate.

Evan's arm was already starting to ache and swell—he knew it was almost time to unleash Unicorn Arm, but he had to wait until he circled around to the viper's seven-inch spot. So he kept teleporting, spinning around the viper's body.

Evan's body left afterimages as he flashed around the viper, moving so fast that even Faye couldn't pinpoint his position. He was deliberately confusing the viper with his speed, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

The viper noticed Evan's unusual movements and suddenly shot into the air, but just as it did, Evan swung the Frostbane Sword with all his might, unleashing Heaven-Cleave—his last chance to use it.

All five elemental powers and lightning fused into his martial art, and the Unicorn Arm's energy boost made the strike terrifyingly powerful. After unleashing the move, Evan felt dizzy, nearly collapsing on the spot.

Boom! With a thunderous crash, a huge wound appeared at the viper's seven-inch spot. Countless scales flew off, leaving the area a bloody mess—the two-meter-thick body was nearly cut in half by the blow.
