You Belong to Me Today

1/5/2026

"W-What did you just say?!" Ryan Ling froze, cold sweat trickling down. From the weird 'medicine for down there' incident, to that steamy masquerade ball peeping episode... Ryan had kept all this bottled up, and as long as Lily Liu didn't bring it up, he wouldn't dare mention it either. But now, after being roasted by Angie Chen and Sophie Su, Lily Liu clearly couldn't hold it in anymore.

Just now when Ryan was paying, he heard Angie Chen loudly say she was gonna find Lily Liu a real man, couldn't let her stay single forever, and that girls who go solo too long forget what guys even smell like.

Pretty sure that was what set Lily Liu off—hence the booze at the restaurant, and now, seeing 'Couple's Only' on the sign, she's basically ready to go all in.

But Ryan Ling was absolutely not ready for this. He could handle any other woman, but the one who raised him since he was a kid? No way, that's a line he just can't cross!

"If you still care about me, come upstairs with me. I don't want to go anywhere else, I just want you with me!" Lily Liu probably wasn't even sure if she was drunk or not—her voice was raw, almost crying, like Ryan had done her wrong.

Ryan Ling was at a total loss, but he couldn't just leave Lily Liu out on the street. He quickly grabbed her and said, "Lily, what are you doing? Don't go nuts, let's go home. I'll call a ride right now!"

"Don't call me that! Do I look that old to you? If you think I'm past it, just say so!" Lily Liu actually started crying, looking completely heartbroken. Ryan tried to pull her in, but she shoved him away.

By now, all the good-looking guys and girls nearby were staring, and couldn't help but start blaming Ryan Ling.

"Bro, she's such a catch and you're just standing there? She wants you to go up with her, so go! Quit acting so uptight!"

"Seriously, if I were you, I'd have carried her upstairs ages ago—what are you waiting for, man? Hahaha!"

"Seriously, if a big sister like her wanted me, I'd die happy! She's literally asking you out—just go with her already! Hurry up, man, I'm suffering on your behalf!"

"Exactly! Go for it, bro! Even as a girl, I can't stand watching this—she's got major cravings for you, lol!"

"Wow, you seem pretty experienced. Wanna go have some fun too?"

"Pffft, with that scrawny look? Go home to your mom, dude! Screw off!"

...

Everyone around was chiming in, getting way too invested—and almost all of them were on Lily Liu's side. Ryan Ling wanted to clap back, but before he could, Lily joined in, yelling, "Are you even a man? I'm asking you to come up with me—what, you really don't have the guts? Are you that scared of me?"

"What did you just say?!" That hit a nerve for Ryan Ling. He scooped Lily Liu up and shouted, "Oh, so you think I'm chicken? Fine! Tonight I'll show you just how gutsy I can be!"

Ryan didn't hesitate—he picked Lily Liu up and charged straight into the couple's hotel. The whole crowd, guys and girls alike, burst into applause; even the girls were yelling for Ryan to go three hundred rounds with her.

Lily Liu was totally into it too, eyes locked on Ryan Ling, with a look so seductive it was almost supernatural—every move she made was pure temptation.

After checking in, the two of them finally entered the hotel room.

"Alright, just rest up. If you need water, I'll get it. If you need anything, I'll buy it!" Ryan Ling set Lily Liu down on the bed and instinctively stepped back a couple paces. Sure, he'd gotten a little fired up just now, but at this moment he was keeping his distance—he knew drunk girls were impossible to reason with, and today Lily was definitely putting on a show just for him.

"Are you really that scared of me? Do you hate me that much?" Lily Liu suddenly got emotional again, sitting up with a flushed face, looking so wronged it was like Ryan had actually bullied her.

"No way, how could I ever hate you? You're way overthinking this!" Ryan Ling quickly stood up, totally at a loss with Lily tonight.

"Then tell me—am I pretty? Compared to Sophie Su and Angie Chen?" Lily Liu took a breath, still hyped up.

"You're gorgeous, of course you are! You've got way more flavor than them—nobody can compare to you!" Ryan Ling rushed to flatter her. Honestly, Lily Liu really did have that vibe: Sophie Su was beautiful as a flower, Angie Chen was wild and sexy, Cindy Sun was cute as hell, but when it came to pure womanly allure, Lily Liu had it all—curves, hips, and those lips, so red they were practically glowing. For an eighteen-year-old guy like Ryan, no one could resist a twenty-something big sister's temptation.

"Really? You're not just saying that?" Lily Liu's mood improved a bit, but her eyes still locked right onto Ryan Ling.

"Of course, I mean it! You're way hotter than them—you're always number one in my heart!" Ryan Ling quickly added.

"Sweet talker. But tonight, words aren't enough—I want you to look me in the eye and say it like you mean it!" As soon as Lily Liu finished, she started taking off her clothes.

"Wait, are you actually that drunk?" Ryan Ling froze, heart pounding, and rushed over to stop her, thinking Lily was seriously wasted tonight.

But before he could finish, she was already totally naked.

"Wh-What are you doing?" Ryan Ling was so stunned he almost had a nosebleed.

"Am I beautiful?" Lily Liu didn't care how awkward Ryan was, just smiled and asked.

"Beautiful! Seriously, you're gorgeous! You're like a goddess!" Ryan Ling could feel his nose about to explode—this wasn't just beauty, it was enough to get any guy's blood boiling.

"Then what are you waiting for, just standing there?" Lily Liu beckoned him over. Ryan felt like his soul was leaving his body as he slowly got up, gulping nonstop. Lily's seduction skills were next-level—even more potent than Angie Chen's. No words needed, just a few moves and any guy would be totally lost.

At that moment, every emotion—excitement, nerves, thrill—was surging inside him!

He really couldn't believe it—he was actually about to cross that line!

"Come here!" Lily Liu said, grabbing Ryan Ling.

Instantly, Ryan's mind went totally blank. He lost all reason, his hands tingling like he'd been struck by lightning.

At that point, there was no way Ryan could resist—he lunged forward and hugged Lily Liu tight.

But just then, someone knocked on the door, and Sophie Su's voice suddenly rang out: "Ryan, are you in there? Ryan!"

Ryan Ling felt like he'd been hit by lightning—he quickly shoved the overheated Lily Liu away. Lily was startled, and even though she was reluctant, she hurried to get dressed, her face tense like she'd just been caught.

Ryan sucked in a breath. Why was Sophie Su banging on the door right now?

And if that wasn't enough, Cindy Sun's voice joined in from outside too.

"Ryan, are you in there? Lily, are you in there too? Hurry up and open the door!"

Crap! Were they really caught?

Ryan glanced back at Lily Liu, whose face had gone pale—the booze had totally worn off, and it was clear she'd just been swept up by the heat of the moment.

Stay cool!

Ryan hadn't actually done anything!

He took a couple deep breaths and finally opened the door. Sophie Su and Cindy Sun came in, faces pale, and even had blood on them.

"What happened?" Ryan Ling instantly sensed trouble and asked.

"Some maniacs attacked Angie in broad daylight—totally insane!" Sophie Su gasped out.

"What? Seriously?" Ryan Ling exploded, telling them to lead the way. Lily Liu hurried after them, and Cindy Sun explained that the attackers seemed to be from the Provincial Capital, some Little Blades Gang, here in Longzhou just to target Angie.

Hearing that, Ryan was shocked. The Chen Family was a huge deal in the Provincial Capital, and Angie's dad Jinbiao Chen was the Chamber of Commerce president. Angie might have trouble elsewhere, but in the Provincial Capital she was basically royalty—who would dare go after her so openly? Did something happen to the Chen Family?
