Flora Thrall

1/18/2026

Night has fallen.

The once-boiling Tanner estate has returned to calm.

As the saying goes, 'there are no walls that can't leak wind'—in just one hour, news that the Tanner Clan was wiped out by a group of outer-Domain people spread throughout all of Skywind City.

The other eleven families were shocked, but even more so, they were furious.

It wasn't that they had any deep ties to the Tanners. The real reason was that the ones who destroyed the Tanners were outer-Domain people. In their eyes, outer-Domain people were a lowly race—how could such a group ever stand equal with them?

For a moment, the eleven families all had the idea of exterminating that group of outer-Domain people.

Just as they were preparing to unite and attack the Tanner estate—

They received a message.

Lord Wanyang arrived in Skywind City with his entourage, including the famed field commander Di Tiantong—a ninth-tier War General. Yet, after visiting the Tanner estate, they simply withdrew.

Never mind Di Tiantong—just Lord Wanyang alone, though only an eighth-tier War General, could use his governor’s official seal to mobilize the Ancient Super-Formation and suppress even ordinary ninth-tier War Generals.

Even he had to withdraw—so it was clear just how powerful those outer-Domain people who destroyed the Tanners really were.

This news was like a bucket of cold water dumped on the eleven families. More than anything, it filled them with fear. No wonder the Tanners had been wiped out so quickly—there was a ninth-tier War General among them! Still, they couldn't understand how such a peerless expert could be born in the outer Domains, where spiritual energy and resources were so scarce.

The plan to join forces and wipe out those outer-Domain people instantly became a joke.

Each family patriarch could only give an awkward laugh and lead their people home. At the same time, they activated all their spies to investigate the origins of that group from the outer Domains.

The night was cool as water.

Cool moonlight poured over two figures in the courtyard, bathing them in a layer of silvery gauze.

Gazing up at the full moon, Flora Thrall’s eyes grew moist. In her heart, she called out, 'Father, Mother—your daughter has finally avenged you!'

"Life can't be lived twice. Now that your great revenge is complete, you should allow yourself to be happy!" Ian Song said gently from beside her.

Flora looked at Ian gratefully. "Young Master, thank you. From now on, Flora is willing to stay by your side and work like an ox or a horse for you."

"You're way too pretty for me to treat you like a beast of burden," Ian teased with a laugh.

Hearing this, Flora blushed slightly, warmth flooding her heart. "Young Master is always teasing me. With my looks, how could I ever catch your eye?"

"But I just happen to like your type," Ian replied.

As he spoke, Ian suddenly reached out and lifted Flora’s smooth chin, then slowly leaned toward her.

Feeling Ian’s breath drawing closer, Flora grew flustered and instinctively closed her eyes.

Smack!

Ian lightly kissed Flora’s cherry lips—a brief touch, then he pulled away and said, "You’ve kept your nerves taut for years for the sake of revenge. Now that the blood debt is settled, you should let yourself relax."

But at that moment, Flora fell into a daze, barely hearing Ian’s words. The fleeting touch was so intense that her face flushed scarlet and her whole body trembled uncontrollably.

Seeing this, Ian was stunned. It was just a little kiss—

Why was Flora reacting so strongly?

Suddenly, he remembered a novel he’d read during the apocalypse, 'The Return of the Condor Heroes.' In it, Li Mochou became extremely sensitive from cultivating poison arts—just a hug from young Yang Guo left her limp and powerless.

Could Flora be the same way?

After all, Flora’s poison arts were far more powerful than Li Mochou’s—meaning her sensitivity was dozens of times greater.

Thinking this, Ian grew curious and reached out to pull Flora fully into his arms.

Flora’s figure was voluptuous and curvy, especially full and soft—hugging her felt wonderful. Just as Ian expected, the moment he pulled her in, her body stiffened, then trembled violently, and finally collapsed limply against him, letting out faint, involuntary moans.

Damn, this is way too sensitive!

Ian cried out inwardly.

"Young Master!"

Just then, Flora opened her eyes—hazy with shyness, but even more so with longing.

...

Early the next morning—

Flora slowly opened her eyes. Remembering last night’s wild events, her pretty face flushed bright red all over again.

"You’re awake."

Ian pushed open the door and walked in, carrying a bowl of steaming sweet porridge.

"Young Master."

Flora instinctively sat up, the quilt slipping and revealing a flash of fair skin. She squealed in surprise and quickly ducked back under the covers.

"What are you hiding for? Not only did I see everything last night, I touched you all over!" Ian teased mischievously.

"Young Master, can you please stop talking about it!"

Flora was endlessly shy, just like a maiden in her teens.

"Haha!"

Ian laughed, setting the porridge beside the bed. "I’ll step out. Get dressed and eat when you’re ready!"

"Mm!"

Hidden under the covers, Flora answered in a voice barely louder than a mosquito’s.

Only after Ian left did Flora emerge from the quilt, quickly pull clothes from her Storage Ring, and hurriedly get dressed. As for last night’s outfit—it had already been torn to shreds by Ian.
