Genius Qualification and Sen’s Return (Part One)

1/11/2026

As everyone knows, Life-Gene cultivation and Soul-Will cultivation are two distinct systems: the former measures talent by Power Traits, while the latter is judged by the number of Consciousness Nodes.

Though this is a well-worn topic, no one truly understands it.

Now!

Andrew Han's greatest strength lies in his soul!

The Inspiration Crystal Diamond sublimates into the Soul-Will Crystal Diamond, eventually forming the Soul Crystal Diamond—spinning ceaselessly, brilliantly radiant, methodically birthing one Consciousness Node after another. This is Andrew Han's unique trait that he has never revealed to anyone!

Emperor Zhen Gu senses it!

However, what Zhen Gu can sense is only a tiny fraction!

If the uniqueness of Andrew's Soul-Gene were to be exposed and openly described by Emperor Zhen Gu, it would be a shocking, unwelcome surprise... Even Andrew himself is astonished by the current number of Consciousness Nodes.

"Thank goodness, thank goodness."

"Even Emperor Zhen Gu cannot see the exact number of my Consciousness Nodes—he can only make a rough estimate. And his estimate is worlds apart from the actual count!"

Andrew's emotions surged; he felt a sense of relief.

He was also amazed—he hadn't even used his Soul-Will power, yet Emperor Zhen Gu could still sense something?

A Void Rift-tier existence possesses not only immense power, but also mysterious insight into all things?

Emperor, Zhen Gu.

Andrew clicked his tongue and sighed inwardly.

While the Emperor was amazed at Andrew's Composite Starlight-tier and dual talents, Andrew himself was no less astonished by Emperor Zhen Gu's terrifying power.

At this moment, the nebula space filled with medium was silent and still; the entire venue was wordless.

Occasionally, wisps of nebula drifted by; at other times, the giant tower's light flashed. Only Emperor Zhen Gu's golden eyes swept over everyone in the Chenriver Palace, his deep voice containing admonition. Using Andrew as an example, each word seemed to carry a soul-penetrating, inspiring power, igniting the fighting spirit of many cultivation geniuses.

Afterwards, Emperor Zhen Gu turned and left.

Suweng, looking surprised, hurriedly stepped forward to follow the Emperor: 'Emperor, I know Andrew is a Composite Starlight-tier talent. I also advised him to prioritize his cultivation, not to be greedy or reckless.'

"But, but, I really didn't expect this."

"Andrew Han's Life-Gene aptitude is outstanding, but his Soul-Will is also so extraordinary? Six hundred Consciousness Nodes is nearly equivalent to the top-tier geniuses on the First Ladder."

As he spoke, Suweng glanced at Andrew Han.

Even though he was a peak Stellar Palace being, and could even compare with some Void Rift-tier existences, hearing this astonishing, world-shaking news inevitably stirred his heart.

It's hard to say.

Does Andrew Han have hope of surpassing his former self?

Bare-chested, Suweng let out a sigh, unsure whether to anticipate or worry.

"There's indeed considerable hope." The Emperor's golden pupils flickered with sparks, smiling faintly: "Composite Starlight-tier is far from simple addition. From what I've seen, Andrew's Soul-Will is still at Triple Starlight-tier. If you wish to guide Andrew, cultivate and drive him forward."

"Yes."

Suweng responded respectfully and hurriedly.

He followed the Emperor, half a step behind, heading toward the Chenriver Tower, unable to resist glancing back at Andrew Han.

When the Emperor's silver-bright long robe vanished from sight, the scene instantly erupted, boiling over as if thunder and fire exploded in a giant cauldron: "This is the current Emperor—none of us dare speak, none dare move a muscle, sweat soaking through our bodies!"

"The Emperor's words are as precious as jade, like edicts from the heavens."

Everyone was moved by Emperor Zhen Gu's majesty, and all eyes turned to Andrew Han.

Each person wanted to speak but hesitated.

Then, silence fell.

Finally, they gave a bitter smile and shook their heads.

The red-haired Stellar Palace elder stroked his half-meter-long red beard: "We truly underestimated Andrew Han."

Another Stellar Palace being replied, "Judging by Life-Gene aptitude alone, Andrew Han is comparable to Sen. Add in Composite Starlight with six hundred Consciousness Nodes, and he may already surpass Sen."

"Let's watch, keep watching."

"Eighty-six star years from now, at the grand feast of the Ancient Imperial Nation, Andrew Han will surely shine brilliantly."

A Stellar Palace lifeform sighed with admiration, the sound of discussion echoing in their ears, emotions complex and hard to describe. One after another, they sized up Andrew Han, then departed.

They were very clear—

Andrew Han's meteoric rise is inevitable; no one can stop him!

Countless cultivation geniuses sized each other up, like a sea of debate that had just calmed, only to rise again in waves, as if ten thousand horses neighed in loneliness, spreading across the venue and touching the deepest corners of everyone's hearts.

But—

Most cultivation geniuses were unfamiliar with Andrew Han and couldn't approach him.

Third Princess Mora was quietly stunned, her round face filled with confusion. The Life-Gene system was already so overwhelmingly strong—how could he also possess such Soul-Will? It simply crushed the hope of those who wanted to chase after him.

"Monster!"

Mora quietly muttered under her breath.

The White-Horn Clan's Dan Booth didn't care about any of this, shouting toward Andrew Han: "Andrew, is your Soul-Will really this strong? I have my doubts—back when we sparred, did you use your full strength?"

That sparring match, Dan Booth had never forgotten.

Andrew Han had defeated him with a single palm strike, which spread Andrew's name among the White-Horn Clan elders and promoted the clan's support of him.

"You still don't believe me?" Andrew Han turned to look at Dan Booth.

Dan Booth, extremely excited, was still a bit doubtful... Andrew Han had fought life-and-death battles alone, crushed the Tianyu Palace visitors, and earned the Emperor's praise—he was no longer the same as before.

So...

Should he believe or not?

Dan Booth was lost in thought. Andrew Han chuckled, his tone sincere: "Trust me, back then I really did use almost all my strength."

"That's good, that's good." Dan Booth felt relieved, as if taking a big gulp of cold drink in a hot, stuffy environment.

See, Andrew Han admitted it himself.

Since it was nearly all his strength, it couldn't have been much less... Poor Dan Booth, he didn't know that Earth had a precise calculation method: four tenths out of five.

...

The turbulent waves finally began to calm.

The Chenriver Tower, ninety-nine floors high, with ice peaks and volcanoes occupying either side, was a vast space.

Emperor Zhen Gu sat at the volcano's mouth, watching Andrew Han.

Suweng, bare-chested, squinted and smiled at Andrew Han.

"Andrew Han, don't be nervous." The Emperor slowly stood, hands behind his back, his golden eyes radiating a calming power. "We called you here only to tell you one thing."

"Yes."

Andrew Han nodded repeatedly.

How could he not be nervous? Facing these two, one was the current Void Rift-tier Emperor, the other was the peak Stellar Palace Suweng, both possessed world-shaking might.

"Suweng, have a seat."

The Emperor waved his sleeve, signaling Suweng to sit down.

Suweng shook his head and declined.

"Sit." The Emperor smiled, "You, Suweng, are a genius after all. In terms of status, you are even more distinguished than me."

Hearing this, Suweng gave a bitter smile: "That was all in the past. What kind of genius am I now?"

Andrew Han stood quietly, listening in confusion.

A genius?

In the vast starry sky, 'genius' refers to those with relatively outstanding cultivation aptitude, but there seems to be no fixed standard.

But Andrew Han didn't ask, just listened quietly.

Soon after, Suweng sat down, his gaze sincere as he looked toward Andrew Han: "The Emperor believes you have a chance to reach the Human Supreme Hall's genius threshold—the Hall has a standard: to bear the title of 'Genius,' one must be able to slay a higher-realm lifeform in adverse conditions. Only then can you truly be called a genius!"

"The title of genius here is not just praise."

"Simply put, there is a standard for genius. Whether you can bear the title depends on passing the Ancient Nation's division assessment in the Human Supreme Hall. Once you do, your name will be forever engraved on the Hall's Human Genius Register!"

To be called a genius is a special designation!

Just two words are enough to summarize an extraordinary life.

Andrew Han began to understand.

In the Human domain, the word 'genius' is roughly equivalent to a world-renowned title in the martial arts world.

Andrew Han asked, "So... only by reaching the standard and being recognized by the Hall can one be considered a true starry sky genius?"

"Exactly."

The Emperor smiled faintly, nodding: "The Chenriver Empire is too small for you. Your path should be on the Human Genius Register... As for the genius standard, take Suweng for example—a peak Stellar Palace being who can slay a Void Rift-tier existence, or defeat a Starry Sky Fiend of the same realm, can truly be called a genius!"
