Blood Rose’s Gift

Not far from the Western restaurant, Zoey Su finally couldn't hold back and burst out laughing: "Ian Song, you're just too bad! I never thought you'd pull a stunt like that. I bet Andy Jin's face right now must be priceless."

Ian Song rolled his eyes. "Alright, alright, I'm only helping you out this time because Shelly asked. Next time, don't come looking for me. Oh, and here—take this check." As he spoke, he handed the fifty-thousand-yuan check to Zoey Su.

"I don't want it. You keep it for yourself. Thanks, Shelly! I'm heading out first. See you tomorrow."

Watching Zoey Su run off, Ian Song casually slipped the check into his pocket.

"Bro, you're not really going to keep that check, are you?" Shelly looked at Ian Song, her eyes a little uncertain. "Maybe we should just give it back to Andy Jin instead."

Ian Song gave Shelly a half-smile. "Don’t overthink it, silly. I’m planning to donate the fifty thousand to kids in the mountains, all under Andy Jin’s name. Consider it helping him build up some karma."

When Shelly heard that, her cheeks turned red. She'd actually thought Ian Song was being greedy about the money.

"Sorry, bro, I shouldn’t have doubted you."

"Don’t worry about it. I’m not that petty." Ian Song grinned.

......

After dropping Shelly off at home, Ian Song headed back to his dorm. His aunt had suggested he move home earlier, but he’d turned her down—he had way too many secrets to hide, and living at the dorm made things much easier.

While using the Photographic Memory Divine Art to absorb Eastern Medicine knowledge online, Ian Song mulled over everything that had happened lately.

Even though his uncle had been reinstated, Justin Nangong probably wasn’t letting go anytime soon. He’d likely try some other scheme against Ian or the whole Song family.

Then there was the mess with the National Martial League—he’d joined, but ended up offending Leon Lee, the Hall Master. No way that guy was done making trouble for him.

And of course, there was the whole Fame Points thing.

After a few days, his JoyStream video had already hit over ten million views, and his Fame Points shot up to 5.02 million—enough for another lottery draw.

But he wasn’t planning to gamble this time. He’d talked it over with Meow-Meow last night.

Turns out, not only cultivation realms, but also divine powers and skills could be upgraded directly with Fame Points.

So from now on, he had to use Fame Points carefully.

In five days, it’d be the finals of the local piano competition. Still, even if he stole the show, it’d be tough to rack up much more Fame Points. If he wanted to keep earning, he’d have to rely on JoyStream releasing his other five videos.
