Everpeace Qin Overlord Body and Dragon-Han Shepherd Heavenly Venerable

2/14/2026

Dragon-Qilin and Annie waited until Quinn Shepherd's mood had settled before approaching.

"Cult Master, are you healed?"

Dragon-Qilin scrutinized Quinn. Quinn's vital qi was no longer leaking, and his complexion was much improved. Dragon-Qilin probed, "So is your life no longer in danger?"

"You could say I'm healed. But my newly born soul is still very weak. I lost too much vital qi before; this only solved the threat to my life, but my cultivation hasn't returned to its former peak."

Quinn examined himself and said, "My soul feels like a newborn infant—very fragile. But my Spirit Embryo is incredibly strong. It'll probably take some time cultivating before I regain balance."

Annie let out a sigh of relief and laughed, "So your soul just got born, Quinn—how old are you now?"

Quinn thought for a moment, then burst out laughing. "If we're talking about my body, I'm thirty-two. But if it's my soul, I was just born—I've only existed for a day. I'm still a baby! Weird, isn't it? Really weird!"

Dragon-Qilin and Annie both started laughing.

Annie laughed, "Today's a big day—the birth of Shepherd Heavenly Venerable."

Quinn shook his head, feeling a strange mix of emotions inside.

He had clearly lived for thirty-two years, but today could be considered his true birth—how strange.

His cultivation was still far from its peak. Although he had resolved the life-and-death crisis, his previous losses were too great. Now, his vital qi and cultivation were only one-fifth of what they had been—a severe setback.

Moreover, he no longer knew what stage his cultivation was at. The seven Divine Treasuries of the cultivation system could no longer measure his current state, and he could not compare himself to other practitioners.

What troubled him most was that he had only the Spirit Embryo Treasury left, and none of his previous techniques could be perfectly activated.

Whether it was the Emperor Seat realm techniques he had learned or the Overlord Three-Core Art he created himself, everything ran sluggishly and his vital qi was extremely chaotic.

Earlier, Quinn had entered a dream and experimented countless times in the dream world. Ultimately, he attained enlightenment in the dream, improving the Overlord Three-Core Art so he could survive.

He also used the improved Overlord Three-Core Art to destroy the Heaven Palace and all the Divine Treasuries, finally opening heaven and earth to grant his soul new life.

Yet even the improved Overlord Three-Core Art could not be cultivated by his current self!

Because the improved Overlord Three-Core Art was built on the seven Divine Treasuries, but now he had only one Spirit Embryo Treasury, and even that was different from those of other practitioners or gods.

The techniques of practitioners and gods are based on Divine Treasuries and the Heaven Palace. With the foundation changed, the old techniques could no longer be used.

—The only technique he could still use was Great Brahma King Buddha’s Immeasurable Kalpa Sutra. This was because the old Buddha’s technique was a dharma of the heart; enlightenment in dream relied on the mind, while cultivating in dream depended on the Divine Treasury system.

He could use this technique to enter dreams, but was still unable to cultivate within the dream world.

Quinn tried activating his divine arts and couldn’t help but sigh in relief—the power of his divine arts remained, so not everything he had learned and comprehended was lost.

If that were the case, it would be far too time-consuming and exhausting.

He entered the dream again. In the dream world, countless tiny Quinns emerged from his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and brow, some even crawling out from his hair.

These miniature Quinns seriously discussed how to adapt to the new Spirit Embryo Treasury, speaking in a language Dragon-Qilin and Annie couldn’t understand.

One tiny Quinn stood atop a high place, using vital qi to gesture and construct the Spirit Embryo Treasury, marking the qi circulation paths, and called out loudly: “Jigu! Jigu-jigu!”

The other miniature Quinns sneered, whispering to each other: “Jiji-gugu! Guji-guji!”

The little Quinn grew furious and immediately activated his self-created technique, only to suddenly cough up blood moments later.

The other miniature Quinns burst out laughing: “Maha-maha!”

Another little Quinn climbed to the top, intending to push the blood-spewing Quinn down. The blood-spewing Quinn, barely alive, grabbed his sleeve and weakly said: “Guji…”

“Maha!”

Another little Quinn threw him down and excitedly constructed his own Spirit Embryo Treasury technique, showing it off to the countless tiny Quinns below, shouting: “Guji! Guji-guji!”

The other Quinns watched, nodding repeatedly and praising: “Guji!”

That little Quinn activated the Spirit Embryo Treasury technique and suddenly exploded, spraying blood everywhere and dying on the spot.

The crowd of tiny Quinns below burst out laughing: “Maha-maha!”

Dragon-Qilin and Annie were long used to this and didn’t find it strange. However, Annie was still extremely curious about the tiny Quinns in Quinn’s dream world, lying outside the dream world and laughing at their various ways of dying.

The tiny Quinns invented techniques, tested them, and then died in all sorts of bizarre ways.

Even more tiny Quinns crawled out from Quinn’s mind, continuing their experiments, utterly fearless of death.

They had their own unique language, which Annie couldn’t understand, yet the tiny Quinns communicated perfectly, ensuring smooth information flow.
