Voluntary Entry into the Demon Prison

Ian Song watched Elder Tang warily. The elder didn’t leak a trace of aura, yet gave Ian a sense of unfathomable depth. If Ian’s guess was right, this Elder Tang was a top late Fusion-stage powerhouse.

Early Soul-Split versus late Fusion-stage?

Don’t even joke. If it were just a regular early Fusion-stage opponent, Ian might still have the guts to fight head-on. But against late Fusion-stage, the gap was simply too vast.

"What, you refuse?"

Elder Tang spoke again, his tone still flat and indifferent.

"Kill!"

Ian knew he was no match for the elder, but he couldn’t bring himself to commit suicide.

He gripped the Ink-Black Sword, stepped into the air, and landed above Elder Tang, slashing down fiercely.

"Ignorant fool!"

Elder Tang casually waved his hand, scattering a sheet of divine light.

The divine light looked gentle, but it contained overwhelming force.

"Bang!"

The divine light struck Ian, sending his body flying like a severed kite. He crashed hundreds of meters away.

"Cough, cough!"

Ian used the Ink-Black Sword to prop himself up, barely managing to stand. He coughed loudly, blood pouring from his mouth with every cough. Just one hit and he was seriously injured—the power of a late Fusion-stage expert was terrifying.

"Little Demon Song is dead for sure this time!" someone lamented.

Someone else sighed, "What a pity. If he hadn’t gone against the Prime One Church, he’d definitely have become a Fusion-stage cultivator one day!"

Others watched Ian cough up blood and sneered, "The Prime One Church’s foundation is just too deep. Forget Soul-Split cultivators—even Tribulation-stage experts wouldn’t dare cross them. Little Demon Song may have had his fun, but the moment he opposed the Church, his fate was sealed. Classic case of digging his own grave!"

"Ian Song!"

On the Phoenix Bridal Carriage, Lila Li saw Ian coughing up blood nonstop. Her heart nearly broke, and tears poured down like rain.
