Frostbane Sect’s Secret (Part Two)

1/19/2026

Selena Yale only saw Evan Chu’s figure flash and instantly vanish from where he stood. When he reappeared, he was already dozens of meters away. That speed left her utterly in the dust, and she quickly darted forward, leaving a trailing afterimage as she arrived at Evan’s side.

She was about to ask Evan why he acted like that, but before the words left her mouth, she spotted the writing on the stone wall and understood why he’d come here. She was amazed that Evan could spot such faint writing from so far away.

After glancing at the writing, Evan Chu laughed, “Selena, this secret chamber was actually built by Lord Frostbane back in the day—unbelievable, right? There’s a hidden chamber inside where the Stellar Power is insanely dense. One day of cultivation in there equals a whole month outside.

But the conditions to enter are tough. It’s a hidden chamber, and you have to pass Lord Frostbane’s trials to find it. There are tons of heaven-defying treasures inside.

There’s even a Book Repository full of top-tier martial arts manuals. With those, I bet Frostbane Sect’s development will skyrocket!”

“Evan, don’t get ahead of yourself. All I see here is a giant plaza—where’s this so-called secret chamber? It’s got to be insanely hard to find. Remember, Frostbane Sect has had tons of sect masters. Maybe they already took everything inside.” Selena Yale said.

“That’s where you’re wrong. Didn’t you see the last line of the inscription? If the treasures in the Stellar Cultivation Chamber are ever taken, the chamber itself will erupt with Stellar Power, and you’d feel it everywhere. Do you sense any Stellar Power here? Since there’s none, it means nobody’s touched the stuff inside. We have to find it.” Evan Chu said.

“Evan, I know what you’re thinking, but don’t forget—everyone who’s come here was a Frostbane Sect master, all super powerful. They all knew about the hidden chamber, but none of them could find it. What makes you so sure you can?” Selena Yale asked.

“Heh, do you even remember who I am? I’m Lord Frostbane! Sure, I haven’t recovered all my memories yet, but I’m confident I’ll find it. Still, I’m not in a rush right now—I want you to help me with that task I gave you. Once I get the Stellar Power from the chamber, my breakthroughs will be even faster.” Evan Chu chuckled.

“You really are a blockhead. Only after we find the chamber can you recover faster! If you’re badly injured, how are you gonna search? We’ll just find it and not go in yet—then when you need it, it’ll be ready. Seriously, sometimes you’re a genius, sometimes you’re just hopeless.” Selena Yale rolled her eyes at Evan.

Evan Chu could only smile helplessly. Maybe he really was being too impatient—Selena’s logic made perfect sense. If the Stellar Power inside the chamber was really that terrifying, Shadow and Goldwing might get a huge benefit too.

Evan Chu steadied his excitement and began spreading his divine sense throughout the secret chamber. With his current strength, covering the whole chamber was a breeze.

Seeing Evan close his eyes as if sensing something, Selena didn’t say another word. He always managed to pull off things nobody else could even imagine—every time, it was something unheard of. She figured he’d bring another miracle this time. Having a man like him by her side, she really was lucky—maybe even blessed.

Evan Chu slowly felt for the faint changes in the stone walls around him, but after a long search, he couldn’t find a single clue. He couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed. Every Frostbane Sect master before him had been incredibly powerful, and even they couldn’t find what he was looking for. It really was tough.

A thought flashed through his mind, and he couldn’t help but ask Luna, "Big Sis Luna, can you help me out? Your spiritual sense is way stronger than mine—please?"

"Heh, I knew you’d want to slack off. I can help, but what’s in it for me? If the reward’s good enough, I’ll do it. The chamber’s location might be secret, but for me, breaking its barrier is child’s play—I’m a master at breaking restrictions." Luna said.

Evan Chu was speechless. Other than soul-nourishing elixirs, he really didn’t have much to offer her. For a moment, he was at a loss.

"How about this—once you recover your body, I’ll make you the big sister among my women. They’ll all listen to you, deal?"

"I’m already their big sister, so you don’t need to say it! I, Xuanyuan Yueyan, would never settle for second place, and you don’t have the guts to make me. If you give me a drop of your essence blood after you master the fifth transformation, I’ll help you. That’s not asking too much, right?" Luna said.

"Essence blood? That’s not easy to force out—what do you need it for?" Evan Chu asked, puzzled.
