The Passage Constructed by Joe Di

12/19/2025

Several days passed in a flash, yet Joe Di, seated at the center of the plaza, did not move at all.

No one was in a hurry; for everyone here, several days felt like the blink of an eye.

Others weren't anxious, but Joe Di was starting to grow restless. He had a premonition that lingering in the Grandway Abyss even a second longer would be detrimental to him.

Yet even after pushing his Rule Cycle to the limit, he still couldn't find an exit here. Was his judgment wrong? Was there truly no way out, and the only escape was through Mountainview?

If he had to leave through Mountainview, Joe Di would need to reconsider. He could sense that the summit of Mountainview was not where he should go right now. If he did, it would be no different from courting death.

No, that wasn't right. Suddenly, Joe Di recalled the words Ziheng Du had spoken to him before leaving.

Since he was already fusing with his own Grand Way, why was he still using the rules and techniques of the Five Elements Universe to circulate his Rule Cycle? Why was he even relying on the rules of the Five Elements Universe to deduce a way out?

Joe Di immediately began constructing his own foundational laws. At the same time, he used the rules he had already built to slowly sense the differences in the surrounding space, or to identify the distinct spatial rules nearby.

After another dozen days or so, Joe Di was pleasantly surprised. He sensed a faint passage in the void. This passage was not discovered through the rules of the Five Elements Universe, but rather by constructing enough of his own foundational laws. Through these, he built his own universe rules, and from those, found a unique spatial channel.

Although he had yet to step into his own void passage, Joe Di had already grasped how to leave the Grandway Abyss. He understood that he must construct his own rules within the Grandway Abyss, then use those rules to build a new void channel—never relying on the original void of the Grandway Abyss.

This realization brought a faint, elusive feeling to Joe Di's heart—one tied to his memories of Earth. Earth was a mortal planet, but within his recollections of cosmic knowledge, there existed a controversial topic: that the universe's space was multidimensional.

After beginning his cultivation, he gained a deeper understanding of what multidimensional truly meant. By tearing open the void in the same location, one could reach different realms—realms numbering in the billions.

But today, Joe Di had a new insight: this multidimensionality could also exist within the same space, distinguished only by differing cosmic rules.

Using his own universe's rules, he constructed a new void channel within the Grandway Abyss's stretch of emptiness. As long as the cosmic rules differed, even within the same void, distinct channels could exist.

As Joe Di's constructed rules multiplied, his Prime Realm resonance grew increasingly solid. At that moment, the void channel before him finally took tangible form.

Joe Di rose to his feet and stepped forward. Simultaneously, he enveloped the others with his universe's rules.

Thus, as Joe Di entered the void channel, the others witnessed the passage he had created, and—delighted—they followed him into the channel he had forged.

All the cultivators on the Grandway Abyss plaza watched as Joe Di and his companions vanished into the void above the square. Even the Third Step cultivators were left stunned. Was there a spatial restriction here that they hadn't noticed? That seemed unlikely—if there were a restriction, even if they couldn't detect it, they should have sensed it during battles.

One of the Third Step cultivators couldn't help but step out toward the spot where Joe Di had disappeared. But in the next instant, he was crushed to the ground by the terrifying aura of Creation rules, landing back on the plaza.

A look of shock flashed in the Third Step cultivator's eyes, then he threw another punch forward.
