The other party was kindly letting Evan Yang leave, but since he had caused this mess, he couldn’t just dump it on others. He didn’t know what relationship the Ling Family had with the Violet Lion Brotherhood, but from their conversation, it was clear that Ling Ziqiong would definitely bring reinforcements when she returned. Thinking of this, Evan felt worried for them, so he spoke up, "I’d better stay and help out."

"You?" Bruno 'Big Ox' looked at Evan Yang, surprised that Evan, who had been chased here, still wanted to stay. It really caught him off guard.

"I started this, so I should take some responsibility," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"If you want to stay, suit yourself. But I don’t have much time to entertain you—I need to get everyone to hide." Bruno 'Big Ox' said.

Evan Yang nodded and followed them. Soon, they gathered everyone on the planet who had ties to the Violet Lion Brotherhood and led them to hide in a cave. The cave was in a concealed spot on the planet—hard to find even if someone searched.

Evan Yang blended in with the group, and the cave extended downward, so they kept going deeper.

Meanwhile, Ling Ziqiong left angrily. When she saw they weren’t following, she reported the situation to Patriarch Lynn. Patriarch Lynn was shocked and hurried to the Immortal Realm Alliance—not to find the Lynn Immortal Sovereign, but the Alliance Leader.

The Alliance Leader was curious why Patriarch Lynn came to him instead of the Lynn Immortal Sovereign. Patriarch Lynn saw this as a chance—a chance to drag down Evan Yang’s status. He said, "Alliance Leader, something terrible has happened. We discovered Evan Yang colluding with the Violet Lion Brotherhood."

"Patriarch Lynn, are you sure about this?" The Alliance Leader frowned.

"Yes. Originally, we just wanted to find Evan Yang, but who knew he was colluding with the Violet Lion Brotherhood. I ask the Alliance Leader to make a decision." Patriarch Lynn said.

"Where is he now? And where are those Violet Lion Brotherhood people?" The Alliance Leader asked, secretly curious about how Evan Yang knew them.

Patriarch Lynn naturally told the Alliance Leader where Evan Yang was. Upon hearing this, the Alliance Leader immediately gathered some elders, and not only that, he brought along several other experts.

Seeing the Alliance Leader bringing so many people, Patriarch Lynn was secretly pleased, then instructed Quinn Lynn to keep a close watch on the planet's surroundings, making sure Evan Yang had no chance to escape.

Quinn Lynn watched curiously, soon discovering Evan Yang hadn't left at all. Patriarch Lynn was naturally delighted by this news, waiting to see how the Alliance Leader would protect Evan Yang when the time came.

Evan Yang never expected the Lynn Family would go to the Immortal Realm Alliance, nor had he thought the Violet Lion Brotherhood had any dealings with the Alliance. Right now, he was simply following this group of people, arriving at an underground palace. Judging by its appearance, it was man-made, and not very old.

"Just stay here for now." After arriving below, Bruno 'Big Ox' said to Evan Yang. Evan replied, "If you need any help, just let me know."

"Alright." Bruno nodded, then led the others off to busy themselves. Someone beside Bruno asked curiously, "Big Ox, why did you bring him in? Aren't you worried he'll collude with the Immortal Realm Alliance? From what I know, he's on pretty good terms with them."

"You don't know the half of it. Evan Yang has always been invited by the Immortal Realm Alliance, but he keeps refusing. Plus, I know he's got real potential. Surely you've heard the rumors about him in the Immortal Realm?" Bruno said.

"Yeah, I've heard. He's really strong, even drove off the Devil Realm Emissary, and took first place in the Heaven-Battling Tournament. But I just can't figure it out—how can someone at the Immortal Lord level be so powerful?" the person asked curiously.

"I want to know that too. This time, he actually agreed to stay—maybe he'll help us. That's why I didn't chase him off. If he's willing to come, let him. Who knows, he might become our friend." Bruno laughed.

"That's true, but what if he says we're not allowed to collude with the Immortal Realm Alliance?" the person still sounded a bit worried.

"If that's really the case, we'll just deal with him directly." Bruno said.

The person nodded. Meanwhile, Evan Yang was in the underground palace, watching people bustling about, unsure what they were doing. No one disturbed him, as if he were a regular here.

"Violet Lion Brotherhood? What kind of sect is that, anyway?" Evan Yang muttered curiously to himself.

Bored, Evan Yang looked around and noticed a spot where the Immortal Source was especially dense. Curious, he walked toward it. At first, he saw people, but gradually they became fewer, until he reached a deserted area that was growing darker.

Facing the darkness, Evan Yang activated his Night-Eye Technique and began walking deeper into the underground palace. The thick Immortal Source drew him onward.

Eventually, he arrived at a spacious area—large enough to hold thousands of people—but it was eerily quiet, with nothing but scattered stones everywhere.

Evan Yang curiously extended his spiritual sense and found a spot glowing faintly. The light was weak, but the Immortal Source there was incredibly dense.

"Strange, what could it be?" Evan Yang saw only a blank white haze within the light, unable to discern what was inside.

Curious, Evan Yang walked over and saw a man-sized glow flickering before him.

"What is this thing? The Immortal Source here is so dense." Standing before it, Evan Yang saw the thick Immortal Source pulsing. Curious, he reached out his hand.

The instant he touched it, Evan Yang felt as if something sucked him in. With a whoosh, he vanished.

Now, Evan Yang found himself surrounded by a blinding white mist—he couldn't see anything at all.

"Where is this place? And why is the Immortal Source so thick here?" Evan Yang realized the Immortal Source here was dozens of times stronger than outside—cultivating here would be dozens of times faster. Still, he couldn't understand what kind of space this was or what it was for.

Just as Evan Yang was wondering how this place was formed, he heard a sharp shout—a woman's voice. At first, he thought she'd noticed his intrusion and was scolding him, but listening closely, he realized she was talking to herself.

"Talking to herself? Isn't that a sign of going berserk?" Evan Yang thought in shock. He followed the voice and, sure enough, saw a woman dancing wildly, her eyes bloodshot.

Evan Yang stared in surprise at the woman, but she didn't seem to notice him at all. Her aura, though, was incredibly strong—much stronger than an ordinary ninth-tier expert.

"Senior?" Evan Yang called.

But the woman didn't seem to hear him, continuing her wild, dangerous moves. Every move was deadly, and several times she nearly injured herself.

After watching for a while, Evan Yang muttered, "Looks like I should help her out. Otherwise, if she hurts herself, that'd be a real disaster."

When someone is about to go berserk, they can get so crazy they might kill themselves. Evan Yang didn't want the woman before him to die, so he flashed forward at incredible speed and grabbed her hands.

The woman's hands were incredibly strong—she flung Evan Yang aside with ease. Seeing this, Evan leaped to the side and used earth control to seal her against the wall, stopping her movements.

The woman was half-crazed, her body out of control, but she still had a sliver of consciousness. Realizing someone was helping her, she was overjoyed. Even though she couldn't move, she could still choose to use attribute attacks—and if she did, Evan Yang definitely wouldn't be her match.

Luckily, Evan Yang used an earth wall to trap her. He then flashed forward and sealed her swiftly, locking her so she couldn't move at all.

Even though the woman was immobilized, she could still roll around, which shocked Evan Yang. His seal couldn't stop her from rolling—proof her strength was incredible. Though her body was restrained, power inside her kept trying to break free.

Facing this, Evan Yang had to help her calm her aura immediately, or she'd die from exhaustion. He quickly blocked her, then sent a surge of Heaven-Cold energy into her.

With the Heaven-Cold energy infused, the woman gradually calmed down and finally stopped moving. Evan Yang kept sending more Heaven-Cold energy and also absorbed some demonic energy forming inside her—the trace of devil qi that comes before going berserk.

Once all the devil qi disappeared, the woman fully regained her senses and said, "Thank you."

Evan Yang withdrew the Heaven-Cold energy and released her. The woman was extremely weak, totally spent, and gratefully said, "If not for you, I might have turned into a demon by now."

"You're welcome. How did you end up like that? Did you go berserk from cultivation?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Pretty much. It's all my fault—I wanted to cultivate faster, boost my realm, but my foundation got unstable and I almost went berserk." the woman sighed.

Evan Yang knew this was the result of cultivating too quickly. If not for his Heaven-Cold Seed and the Eight Devil-Resisting Arts, he'd have gone berserk long ago using such rapid cultivation. "That's true. Be careful from now on—cultivating so fast isn't always safe," Evan advised.

"Mm, got it. But you—who are you? I've never seen you before." the woman asked curiously.

"I'm Evan Yang. I happened to see a glow outside, got curious and touched it, and ended up here. Sorry for barging in." Evan said awkwardly.

"It's not really an intrusion. If you hadn't come in, I'd have turned into a demon by now." the woman smiled.

"May I ask your name, Senior? Are you from the Violet Lion Brotherhood?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"I'm Zi Dan, and yes, I'm from the Violet Lion Brotherhood. What about you? You're not one of us?" Zi Dan asked, surprised. She knew she'd been cultivating in seclusion for a while, hadn't recruited anyone new, and now a stranger showed up asking who she was—it was beyond ordinary.

"I'm not. I just caused trouble for the Violet Lion Brotherhood, so I wanted to stay." Evan Yang replied.

"What kind of trouble?" Zi Dan asked, curious.

So Evan Yang explained what had happened. After hearing his story, Zi Dan exclaimed, "That's bad! Come with me—we need to get out, and I must tell them to leave right away."
