Alliance of Three Powers in the Netherworld

Chapter 1394

Delton and his group were far too conspicuous in the Netherworld, making them impossible to ignore.

After waiting for over an hour, just as the members of the three great factions were growing impatient, a Lizardman finally approached and told them they could enter.

They entered the deepest part of the small city, a cluster of crude houses, where Leon was already waiting with his people. This time, only Hubert and Reina were present; none of the other Netherworld natives had come.

Having heard what happened outside, Leon immediately knew it had to be the three great factions coming for him. He was a bit surprised these guys hadn’t been killed yet.

But since they were still planning to cause trouble, Leon decided to leave them hanging for a while. The fact that they’d managed to hold out for over an hour without losing their tempers told Leon their operations in the Netherworld weren’t going well…

When they finally saw Leon, the members of the three great factions looked genuinely shocked. Delton’s gaze instantly turned cold and sinister.

"Archmage Leon Merlin! Heretic of the Thorned Crown!"

With just those words, Daenoson and Rives immediately realized who the seemingly young man was. Both were taken aback, but then their expressions turned troubled.

Daenoson's face darkened, and he spoke in a rather unfriendly tone.

"Sir Delton, have you forgotten our previous agreement? This is not the territory of your Sanctum of Light. This is your final warning—if there’s a next time, our cooperation ends for good. You’re free to go wherever you please!"

Delton, that idiot, that mad dog—I should never have agreed to work with him. Damn it, who doesn’t know there’s a deep connection between the Thorned Crown and Leon Merlin? The Thorned Crown’s internal purge probably has something to do with that young man too.

To spread the Gilded Rose across the entire northern Odin Kingdom in just a few years, and even make the ancestors of the Rodney Family yield—could such a person be simple? Rumor has it this guy is also connected to the Grand Astrologer of Astral Academy.

Look at those terrifying steel warships—they must be the latest research from Astral Academy. Truly frightening. Just those steel warships alone make me feel a deadly threat. If their manufacturing cost and difficulty aren’t too high, Astral Academy’s rise will be unstoppable.

And this is the Netherworld. Leon Merlin seems to have already won over several Netherworld races, and quite a few of them are fond of him.

Damn it, we’re here to seek cooperation, not to make enemies—Delton, that idiot, that mad dog...

Daenoson’s warning was delivered in a harsh tone. Off to the side, Rives’ expression grew even darker—his eyes said everything.

Delton held back, gritting his teeth but saying nothing more. This wasn’t the territory of the Sanctum of Light, not even Northend—he could only endure it...

With Delton silent, Daenoson stepped forward and gave a dry laugh.

"Sir Leon Merlin, I am Daenoson Chester of the Chester Family. This is Sir Rives of Storm Tower, and this is Sir Delton of the Sanctum of Light."
