This mountain is called Oxhead Mountain, and the bandit stockade here isn't very large—just a little over a hundred people.
Ian Song said to Chloe Cao, "Senior Sister, just help me hold the line later. No need for you to dirty your hands; I'll handle it."
"Alright, I'll hold the line." Chloe nodded. To be honest, she had no interest in bullying a bunch of bandits who hadn't even reached Martial Master level. As for Ian's request, it was clearly to harvest Qi Luck—if Chloe killed them instead, he wouldn't get any.
The defenses of this stockade were extremely lax. There weren't even any guards at the gate.
It wasn't until Ian and Chloe walked into the stockade that they were discovered.
"Hey, where did these two kids come from?"
A bandit with a face full of scars shouted. But when he got a good look at Chloe, his eyes flashed with a lecherous light and he licked his lips. "Well, what do you know—Old Hei's luck is great today. A tender little girl delivered right to my door!"
"Courting death!"
Ian snorted coldly. The Frostbrand Sword flashed from its sheath, stabbing out like lightning.
With a 'pfft,' a sword mark appeared in the bandit's brow. His eyes grew vacant, and the next moment he collapsed to the ground with a thud.
"Not good! Someone's here to kill us!"
Not far away, another bandit came running. When he saw Old Hei get killed, he turned and bolted, shouting at the top of his lungs as he ran.
Ian didn't stop him, letting him shout to draw all the bandits in the stockade over.
Soon enough.
All the bandits in the stockade gathered together, led by a one-eyed, middle-aged man carrying a machete, rushing toward Ian's location.
"You little brats, you've got some nerve—coming to my turf and killing people. Tired of living, are you?"
"Boss, this kid looks so tender—what a waste to just kill him. How about you let me have some fun with him after we catch him?" The burly man, a step behind the one-eyed leader, stared at Ian and spoke up.
"Ha! Sure, I'll let you have him as a reward—but you'll have to catch him yourself!" The one-eyed leader laughed loudly.
"Thanks, Boss!"
Delighted, the burly man hefted a giant axe and strode out, calling to Ian, "Kid, do yourself a favor and surrender—save yourself some pain!"
